>> sara: i'm sara underwood. back to normal temps after a warm weekend. shiri spear in stormtracker weather center and kids in massachusetts are back to school and kids in new hampshire on break now. >> shiri: temperature in the 20s and 30s and pretty typical, not above average temperatures this time of the year, at least at starting points, 31 right now in worcester, 34 in boston, we have cleared on out, we still got lingering clouds south shore down to the cape and islands, but those are on their way out as well, so by 9:00 a.m. future cast continues to clear things up, we got sunshine in boston at 35 , 32 in worcester, 33 in nashua, and about 38 in plymouth here and noon time today, let's plan around upper 30s. afternoon we do get up to 40 and commute from home it is 5:00 p.m. and notice we have lost a couple degrees, so 38 to 44 , highs today nice and

though will be warming for the middle of the week. it is not always sunshine though we got snow, ice, rain, wind, we got it all and what time to plan around those things coming up. julie grauert here now with live drive time traffic. quite a mess on the road. >> julie: sky fox over the accident on 128 northbound at route 24 in randolph. you can see there's in sort of steel or garbage and caused quite a mess blocking two right lanes at the moment, so just that far left lane is getting by over to a picture, this is tweeted out by mass dot or mass state police, rather, and you could see all the steel and it is going to take quite a bit of time to clean up. those delays stretching all the way back to the split and i think they are going to stack all the way on to the expressway into the southbound lanes and continue because until that's clear it is really going to cause some headaches. want to shift north of town as well, we have another rollover there. this is 93 southbound at mcgrath highway. two right lanes are blocked

here are live drive times. 32 minutes on the expressway on the braintree split to the pike. 40 minutes on 93 south from 495 to the leverett connector, 11 minutes on 128. this is university avenue in westwood to the weston tolls and still working on building the fresh graphic with how the drive time affected up to the accident site. gene and sara, back to you. >> gene: new this morning a car plows right into the side of a local starbucks leaving a gaping hole in the side of the building. you could see tables and chairs knocked over from the impact. >> sara: this happened just before one this can this morning, and right now police say they are still searching for the driver. route 1 in norwood where contractors have been working on damage since you arrived at around 3:30 this morning. >> jessica: they have, sara. they were here when we first got here, more of them here now, but you could see the white truck is in the way of the big hole in the side of the building, but that is what the driver plowed into the building here at this starbucks right around 12:30 this morning, take look to the

into the drive through, only going if the find the starbucks closed and no coffee for him to get this morning. this had understand around 12:30 this morning, driver plowed into the side of the building and took off running. again, police still searching for the drive right now. we know mass state police were here to help out the norwood police department with canine but the seven does continue this morning. we have video from the past half hour of people walking up to the front of the starbucks, only to be turned away. others heading to the drive through as just saw, also just to be turned away, as there are no real signs up at this points telling people that it is, in fact, closed. now, at this hour contractors continue to work to patch up this hole. at this point the building inspector has not been out here, but it is clear that this starbucks is going to be closed for a couple more hours. live here in norwood, i'm jessica reyes, fox25 news. >> sara: also new this morning one person was taken to the hospital after this two-car accident in revere.

before 1:00 a.m. on lee burbank highway and there's no condition on the other driver. >> gene: boston police say they have a person of interest and deadly attack on 16-year-old boy. he was stabbed yesterday afternoon on columbia road and dorchester. the scene-year-old was rushed to the hospital but died as short time later. police say they have identified a person of interest who they want to speak with, but no one has been charged. our catherine parrotta in dorchester this morning, she will have a live report ahead at 7:30. >> sara: this was a scene of a house party police in bridgewater say lasted for days before they broke it up. this morning more than 40 people are waiting to go to court. most of the people arrested were underage and some neighbors say the crowd had been at it since last thursday. this house is a few miles from the bridgewater state university cam pus. michael henrich live at the scene on maple avenue talking with neighbors all morning long. good morning, michael. >> michael: good morning, sara about 30 minutes ago i spoke with a neighbor for the first

the people that live at allan houston on bridgewater. she says that the neighbors who were upset about the party and pointed us to the pile of judge. >> here on the front yard, she says were also misinformed or misleading us. she said this pile came out after the two 21-year-old lived here got the house condemned and forced to clear it out and move out yesterday afternoon. condemned in more ways than one. >> they are not residents. they are only here in college, but they don't have any respect for the neighborhood, for the other people in the neighborhood we just want quiet, that's all. >> michael: a stack of destroyed couches, bikes and more in front of this maple avenue house in bridgewater. the aftermath of a day's long rager resulting in 41 arrests. >> it has lasted the last three days. it has been going three days.

the house and urinating in the front of the yard. >> michael: bridgewater police say many college-aged kids tried running away from first floor windows but they didn't get very far. officers and code inspectors found minors drinking alcohol, several public street signs, and enough evidence to condemn the home and kick out the two spaits 21-year-old's renting the property. neighbors say they are just glad this party is over. >> you're in college, you know, you're young, i get it. don't do stupid stuff like this when you're young. you know, you don't want to ruin the rest of your life. >> michael: so as you heard there, handful of neighbors obviously upset with what took place saturday night at the very least in contrast and the house was condemned here and orange sign says there were no smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors inside the house. i'm working to find out more information, trying to square the circle here, if you will,

dismantled the meth lab and neighbors were shocked to what was happening. >> lived here my entire life, never thought there would be a meth lab right next door to me. >> sara: last night neighbors were allowed to return to their homes. the suspect will be charged with making meth later today. >> gene: today presidential candidate bernie sanders will be campaigning in massachusetts. the dick will address students at umass amherst. tomorrow republicans will hold the caucus in nevada. over the weekend hillary clinton won the democratic caucus there and jeb bush suspended his campaign after donald trump cruised to victory in south carolina republican primary. >> people have been hit from 97 different angles and now we are down to i guess five. >> i'm so thrilled and so grateful to all of my supporters out there. >> gene: hillary clinton will be attending several fundraisers

>> julie: live. route 24 and you can see all the steel in the truck when it rolled over it covered the roadway. we have been down to one lane 128 northbound since 6:40 and backups extending well into the braintree split and to the expressway on southbound lanes now. i will have a look at live drive times in a few minutes. >> gene: horrific shooting rampage. uber driver cruised of killing innocent people, a father and son. >> daniel: jasontality be accused of shooting eight people, killing six of them. it started in apartment complex saturday evening. killings. >> daniel: prosecutor describing the calm manner in

carried out saturday night's shooting spree. >> it wasn't hurried in any way shape or form. they are on video, there's video with law enforcement. >> daniel: over the course of seven hours, starting at apartment complex late saturday afternoon where police say he gunned down a woman in the parking lot. the victim is hospitalized and expected to survive. her neighbors described the horrifying attack. >> he was here to kill. >> daniel: more than four hours later another attack, a father and teenage son shot and killed at car dealership. minutes after that dalton opened fire on five people at restaurant parking lot killing four and injuring another. he was finally arrested just after 12:30 sunday morning. a passenger who rode with dalton before the rampage described the troubling behavior. >> maybe a mile from my house, got telephone call, after that telephone call he started driving really erratically. we were kind of driving through

once you came to a stop i jumped out of the car and ran away. >> daniel: perhaps even more bizarre, source with knowledge of the investigation says dalton picked up and dropped off passengers between shootings. investigators think he was looking for even more fares after the final attack. uber has confirmed that dalton drove for them and say he had passed a background check and issued a statement with condolences and offering with the investigation. daniel miller, fox25 news. >> sara: u.s. supreme court will return to work if the first time since the death of justice antonin scalia. the eight remaining justices will begin hearing oral argument starting at 10:00. scalia died earlier this month at the age of 79. chief justice john roberts is expected to mention justice antonin scalia's passing from

>> julie: back to news, sky fox, truck carrying scrap metal rolled over, happened about 6:41 this morning. ever since then bringing you live pictures and still just one lane open, far left lane. within the last few minutes they put up cones and that's to make sure everyone stays as far left as possible and seen a few tow trucks and quite a mess of themselves and long time to get that cleared. look at this picture from mass state police. they tweeted this out, and you can see it is going to take quite a bit of effort to get all of that removed from the road. over to the map where we are seeing, look at this, traffic flow, 128 northbound, all the way back through the braintree split, stretching to the expressway. i would think within the next 15, 20 minutes, we will be well on to the expressway in those southbound lanes. avoid 128 northbound up into 24 and randolph area at all cost this morning because just going to be too much of a headache

expressway slow in the northbound lanes to columbia road and here is another look at 93 south, average speeds 9 miles per hour through medford into somerville. over to live drive times, 45 minutes eastbound 495 to mass ave, 33 minutes on the expressway from the braintree split to the pike, almost an hour on 93 south from 495 to the leverett connector. meteorologist shiri spear joining us now, and shiri, doesn't seem like weather may have been a cause of any of the issues out there this morning. >> shiri: only weather hazard i can think of would have solar glare, grab sunglasses, back to normal, gorgeous back drop and coating to two inches and ice in the forecast rolling into wednesday morning, but turns real mild and rainy wednesday into thursday, so we got a limited weather threat that's kind of weather related and

boston, not really bad way to warm up, mostly sunny skies out there, and we got clearing massachusetts and few clouds out there and 11:00 a.m. 38 and 40 this afternoon and generally speaking right around where most of you will get today. future cast zipping right along and not too much to highlight here, going to be nice and bright the rest of the day, 40 in boston and plymouth, over to lawrence, fitchburg to nashua, today upper 30s in worcester as well as beverly and portsmouth, new hampshire, upper 30s across the cape as well. you can look forward to seeing the same bright skies, even down there. overnight tonight teens inland, 20s at coastline, those are early morning tuesday temperatures, and although tomorrow will start the little bit of sunshine, increasing clouds and highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s. so we got clouds coming in off

winds and result mostly in clouds and things up at 5:00 p.m. and going to get home just fine tomorrow, but once we hit the evening, we start seeing the snow showers develop, it could happen as early as 7:00 p.m. tomorrow, but watch this flip over to some rain and freezing rain by the time you wake up on wednesday morning. this is 7:00 a.m. but the problem is even though we are seeing a lot of rain up into southern new hampshire, merrimack valley and central massachusetts, the problem is some of you are still going to be at freezing, so not until noon we really see the warm air take over, everybody will be above freezing and threat for icy travel will end by noon time wednesday. the afternoon though we get into some of the i was rain wednesday night and thursday morning, thursday it is also wind on top of that, things quiet down for the end of the week with flurries friday and sunday. back to you. >> gene: 7:21. it is the talk of spring training. kung fu panda with extra padding

i know this weekend was a huge tease. 50s, 60s, normal high this time of year is 40. we are going to be completely normal, 34 in plymouth with few early morning clouds, hit the clear skies as you hit toward quincy and stoughton and into boston at 34 , only 27 though in wayland and framingham, 29 in boxford this morning, 28 in newbury, so got chillier locations, worcester freezing at 31, so is leominster, and currently 29 in tyngsborough, 29 into bedford, new hampshire. 9:00 this morning still nice and sunny and got temperatures here that are going to be a little slow to warm-up, so 35 at 9:00 a.m., highs in the lower 40s around throw p.m., so for kids headed back to school today in massachusetts, when they come home we are going to be the lower 40s which honestly isn't that much warmer where we are now, so basically back to

no more of the spring like temperatures, february like temperature and do return to the 50 degree highs coming up and over to julie grauert with live drive time traffic and breaking news. >> julie: shiri, number of people at breaking news and crash, they have record trucks there and more crews try to get the scrap metal cleaned up, see the far left lane has been reopened, but there has been self emergency vehicles on screen, all of that scrap metal covering far right two left lanes and going to be awhile before they get it clean up. here is picture from mass state police and that's the mess we are dealing with on the road. i give 15 minute bet we would start to see delays on the stretch way and up to squantum street on the expressway. route 3 passed route 18 right now, see residual delays there on route 3 as you head northbound and up to the braintree split.

northbound lanes from furnace brook parkway up to columbia road. also want to highlight slow spots north of town, route 1 typical delays there. here are live drive times, up to 35 minutes and 12 minutes on 24 from 106 to 128 and 14 minutes on 90 as you approach 128 and have update in ten minutes. back to you. >> gene: 16-year-old is latest victim of violence. teenager stabbed in the street and later died at the hospital. >> sara: catherine parrotta live at columbia avenue and there's a person of interest but they are not saying there's been an arrest. >> catherine: they have not identified the victim but investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and looking at surveillance video that might have been captured by any of the businesses you see here. there's a church on one corner, convenience store on other

again, police saying they have identified a person of interest. all of this happened though in broad daylight around 4:30 yesterday afternoon. police found the 16-year-old victim near the corner of columbia road and devin street. at first police thought he had been shot but later realized injury was stab wound. team was taken to boston medical center but didn't survive. police, again, have not identified him by name, but isn't the first time police have responded to the area. just about two weeks ago police also called to area of devin street to respond to report of a shooting. during that incident police fatally shot a man who they say wouldn't put down his gun. at this time police have said no formal charges have been filed. however, i do have a call-out to boston police this morning to see if anything has changed with that and see if we can get more information. in the meantime i wassing a able to get more homicide in the city this year. live in dorchester, catherine

>> gene: starbucks in norwood car slammed into the side of the building and store remains closed right now and isn't the only investigation that's underway. the drive is also missing. jessica reyes is live at the scene on route 1. jess, you have been in contact with local police all morning. >> sara: >> jessica: we have. we know mass state police come here to help out the norwood police department early this morning, brought canine units and still not able to track the suspect down. look at scene here, white truck is blocking the hole, but you may be able to hear them sleeping and drilling and continuing to patch up the home to hopefully get this starbucks closer to being hope. this all happened around 12:30 this morning, driver of this white car plowed into the building leaving a huge hole in it. again, the driver did take off running. now, where this happened, the car went into the seating area

>> lived here my entire life and never thought making meth would be one thing around here. >> sara: man in hoodie part of crime ring that is breaking into cars across the area. they take purses but police say they are actually for something more personal and it could be working far outside the state. >> daniel: they may be part of theft ring out of florida and they travel committing car break-ins. someone stealing purse out of unlocked jeep and caught on camera checking out inside of two other cars before taking off on saturday vehicles in millis and medford were broken into. police believe the same thieves are responsible for a rash of well. vehicles parked at the medway targets. >> by saturday afternoon we have

to 5:00 p.m. and sometime during that class three of our students' cars got broken into. police tell us thieves are looking for checkbooks and identification cards so they can commit bank fraud. they believe one of the suspects is a woman. we got the surveillance images up on the facebook page this morning on myfoxboston.com if you want to take another look. i'm daniel miller, fox25 news. >> sara: happening today man that sparked campus wide lockdown, william mccune, stopped and attacked a student with a gun. he is not a umass student and got inside the dorm with another man. the student is expected to be okay. mccune faces multiple charges including assault and battery with dangerous weapon. stole $1,000.

lives there is treasurer for the shelter and now it is going to be hard for them to complete the mission. >> there's a cat out there right now that needs us and we will still bring it in but we are going to be hard-pressed to be able to pay for the medical. we will find a way but it is so much harder for us. >> gene: treasurer has installed a security system at the home but shelter still hoping to get the stolen money back. gene: boston police find a loaded handgun inside a family's home. getting a lot of attention online. shows gun and baby seat. police found it over the weekend when searching on norfolk street for drugs. also found heroin, cocaine and cash. both the people living in the home were arrested and charged with drug trafficking. >> shiri: >> julie: we track traffic and weather together every ten minutes 128 northbound at 24 and likes construction site. does not look like 128 northbound, especially what you don't want to see during the
