first shot at 1:05 this morning and second officer was called and responded and also shot. within the hour the police held a news conference about the shootings. they say the officers were ambushed and doesn't look like there was any interaction between the officers while they sat in the cars. >> developing stuff in the information and nothing right now we can share or that we are at the point to share. >> daniel: officers responding to the report of shots fired found the first officer shot and dale police department which is in the metro area of des moines. about 20 minutes later as i mentioned, des moines officer responded to help and shot and killed 2 miles away. police mentioned they don't have any information about the suspect or suspects. of course, i will be staying on top of this all morning. in the newsroom, i'm daniel miller, fox25 news. >> daniel: crews in westwood ford looking to stabilize a

cleaning material. fox25 michael henrich live at the scene. michael, town officials are talking this morning about that situation. >> michael: town selectmen came right up to the scene because he says he lives just a calumet blocks away and his family did get a reverse 911 call letting them know last night after this train crash at about 8:30 derailed i should say about 8:30, they got the warning they might have to evacuate the area. tier one haz-mat situaon discovered knew investigators know hazardous materials ended up spilling. so that is the silver lining here. that said, this is the second pan am railways derailment in this general area according to this town selectmen since 2014 and he is beyond frustrated about that fact. >> it is intolerable because in the middle of the night don't

even though you see 60s repeating here tomorrow and even a 70 degree reading of providence, rhode island. we got rain moving in. it is going to move in last over southeastern mass which allows you to warm up a little bit more. points north and west of boston it could end up being kind of cooler out there, a a little bit drizzly for the morning commute, this is 7:00 a.m. tomorrow with future cast and you can see northern mass, southern new hampshire a little bit wet to kick off the day and not heavy stuff until the afternoon and scattered rain, especially north of the pike here through noon time, i think the more showers you will see, but once we hit the afternoon we got showers that are shifting eastward and right now the timeline is bringing some of those heavier showers into boston even sooner. by 3:00 p.m. you can see we got that band of heavier rain impacting boston. my concern is that we got showers stick with us through the evening commute and going to main that it is a wet drive home from work tomorrow, slower drive home from work tomorrow, showers end during the evening hours and
