7 news. >> ryan: new developments out of shallow north carolina, after a second night of unret the state of emergency is in effect. charlotte's police chief saying he is not release darb cam video but the man's family will be able to see it. >> reporter: the man's family hasn't seen the video but they want to as soon as possible. video of the deadly police shooting of 43-year-old keith lamont scott will be shown to his family but opportunity to see it. >> as i said before our practice has been not to release but to allow for 9 party who feels they've been mistreated to see that. >> reporter: the video does not show scott pointing a gun at police, officers say he ignored commands to drop his weapon. witnesses say you this never saw a gun. protests last night in charlotte, north carolina, turned violent including one person shot by another

and the national guard is in place. u.s. attorney general who is from north carolina called for the protests to stop. >> i know these are difficult times and know the events of recent days are painfulfully unclear and they call out for answers. but i also know that the answer will not be found in the violence of recent days let us all seek a peaceful way play. >> reporter: the police officer was not wearing a boat camera because he was in civilian clothes. brandon gunnoe, 7 news. >> kim: following breaking news out of stouton. witnesses say there was a shooting at that c.v.s. police tape is blocking the entrance to the store. >> ryan: it was' frightening for shoppers there. jonathan hall joins us live from the scene. >> reporter: the shots rang out here at the c.v.s.over an hour and a half ago on route 138 in stouton. we'll zoom in live. the police are still in there. they have a been going in

gathering evidence. reports say one teenager was shot. the store is closed. the police and state police search for more suspects. we understand a canine unit has been involved. it appears an argument involving three teens led to the violence, we spoke to a woman who was' shopping inside and heard commotion. >> i was down over by the cereal aisle and i heard a couple of guys come in and argue. anything of it. and then i heard a couple of pops. one of the guys was holding their shoulder. seemed okay. he was conscious. >> reporter: she says the victim did seem to be all right. he made his way over to the minute clinic which is inside the get initial treatment. then the e.m.t.'s took over. the closed however the dry through pharmacy is

has the story. >> reporter: the dog last few lives as well. she survived a train accident and is now taking advantage of her new lease on life. >> this is charlie. she is a one-year-old sit zhu mix. >> reporter: she is a fighter. >> she was hit by a train and had her leg dramatically amputated. >> reporter: she went up against a train between the roslindale and forest hills stop. she was' rushed to the medical center by a who found her on the tracks. a move that saved her life. >> the most important thing is to get them right to a vet and right to an emergency facility because shock sets in really quickly. and shock can basically cause them to die. >> reporter: the mspca is not sure how charlie ended up on the tracks but believes she was' someone's pet. >> i do think she was' probably owned by somebody. i'm not sure of the circumstances on how she got to the tracks but her face was shaved.
