investigators say one of the officers approached the car. that's when the suspect threw a needle on the floor, put the car in reverse, and then struck the officer. he was dragged roughly 15 feet, but he's said to be recovering. >> sarah: breaking overnight, twitter is back online after a brief outage. the social media site was down for several minutes earlier this morning in the u.s., japan and parts of europe. it comes after wikileaks reported a cyber attack on its e- there's no word yet on why the outage happened. >> christa: breaking overnight, a suspect in custody after a shooting that left a georgia deputy dead and another injured. officials say two officers were responding to a call about a dispute at a home. that's when the suspect opened fire. one officer was killed. the other is in critical condition this morning. >> sarah: new this morning, several people are injured after an earthquake hit central oklahoma. the magnitude 5.0 earthquake damaged a number of buildings

election has been nasty really for months, but with 24 hours left, police are now investigating. now, the good news is that graffiti has been spray painted over, but it appeared here at the school as the museum of fine arts, and it spread about 20 feet. it was written in white letters all across this gray building that. message read, "kill your local trump supporter." now boston police are trying to figure out who sprayed this disturbing message. we actually saw police driving by circling around the school earlier this morning some it's not cool when first appeared, but once somebody reported it, it was covered up. this isn't the only place this is happening. there are three teenagers in mississippi facing charges for allegedly spray painting anti-hillary clinton graffiti. that happening on a building in the city of meridian. according to police there, the teens painted killary and other messages. the teens were caught in mississippi last week. boston police still investigating. it's unclear what if any charges

facing. that's the latest live in roxbury, nicole oliverio, 7news "today in new england." >> sarah: right now police are investigating after shots were fired in boston. officers say the bullet shattered several windows at a home last night. no one was hurt. so far no arrests have been made. >> christa: and police are searching for suspects after man was shot and killed in dorchester. this happened early saturday. investigators say the victim went to the hospital himself but later was pronounced dead. boston is making changes after two officers were shot by a constable. 7's kris anderson joins us with a closer look at what constables will now be required to do. kris? >> kris: sarah, some changes are coming. boston police beginning to notify the city's nearly 300 constables they must be fingerprinted so authorities can run out-of-state background checks on them. this move comes a month after 33-year-old constable kirk figueroa shot two police officers in east boston.

was approved back in april without debate, but officials say they didn't know he had a criminal history out of state. officers were responding to domestic incidents at figueroa's apartment when he began shooting at them. more officers stepped in and returned fire on figueroa and he was eventually killed. two police officers, matthew morris and richard cintolo were shot multiple times. this morning both have been released from the hospital and are continuing their recovery at home. constables have until february to get fingerprinted or their authority to wor may be suspended. live in the newsroom, kris anderson, 7news "today in new england." >> christa: kris, thank you. new details now on gun control here in massachusetts. a suffolk superior court rules that the gun manufacturer glock has to send records to attorney general maura healey. now, healey requested the documents as part of an investigation into safety issues with glock firearms. the gun company says it should not have to provide these documents because it doesn't
