police say his spelling helped her connect those crimes. >> sarah:>> kris: mitt romney so meet with president trump. the big position the former massachusetts governor is in contention for. >> this is 7news "today in new england." >> kris: it's friday, 5:00. thanks so much for making us part of your day. i'm kris anderson. >> christa: and i'm christa delcamp. look like it will be a nice day. wren clair has a check of your forecast. >> wren: clear skies this morning. temperatures are pretty varie mild day. get outside and enjoy some of this nice weather. we have more seasonable wealth headed our way shortly here. for today, temperatures starting out in the upper 30s in worcester. 32 in bedford. 33 in norwood. in boston we're more mild, in the mid to low 40s for many of us. comfortable start, cool for some. light jacket a great idea. as we head into the afternoon, temperatures again close to 60 degrees. you can expect slightly cooler temperatures across the coast and breezier conditions across the cape. into tonight, mostly clear skies.

officers. >> kris: some of those bullets striking a police vehicle in the area. nicole oliverio is live with more on these breaking details. nicole, what have you learned? >> nicole: kris, the good news is we know no officers were hurt. nobody was hurt. they say it ended peacefully. this all happening when the norton police department say they received a call around 9:30 last night to an incident on john scott boulevard. they say it was a domestic incident where man had gotten into an argument with a woman inside of the home. when police scene, that woman managed to get out of that house. she had a young child with her. they say the suspect inside was irrational and barricaded himself inside the home. they say at one point that suspects claimed he had over 500 rounds of ammunition. officers staged that area. again, there were shots fired from inside the house. it hit a police officer's patrol car, but we're told that no officers were injured. they finally managed to get that

he'll appear in court later today. that's the latest live from norton, nicole oliverio, 7news "today in new england." >> kris: happening today, a teenager accused of attacking a 14-year-old girl is going to be in court. police say he tried to choke this girl right near her bus stop in bourne last week, and this morning he's facing a long list of charges. 7's jennifer eagan is following this story for us. she's live with the very latest. jen? >> jennifer: chris, attempted kidnapping and strangulation are 18-year-old is facing. he was booked here at bourne p. d. last night. he's headed to court today. 18-year-old don allen had nothing to say to our camera after posting bail. did you try to attack a 14-year-old girl? do you have anything to say for yourself? allen jumped in a car while the female driver tried the hide her face. police arrested allen after he tried kidnapping a 14-year-old

her bus stop last week. >> i think it's great they have an arrest. obviously if somebody does that to a person, it could happen to somebody else. they didn't have much to go on. >> jennifer: police say allen grabbed her by the neck from behind and threw her to the ground. a witness was able to intervene and save her from the attack. >> this is a fairly closely knit neighborhood. people watch out for their neighbors. >> jennifer: police say allen lives on puritan road, the same area where the attack happened. officers saying what evidence led him to the teen, but they say they hope the arrest will make the community feel safer. police haven't commented on a possible motive for this case. allen heads to falmouth district court later this morning. live in bourne, jennifer eagan, 7news "today in new england." >> christa: happening today, a suspect is set to face a judge after a deadly shooting that happened in dorchester. police say two men were arguing inside of a home on westcottage westcottage -- west cottage street on thursday morning.

gun. investigators found the victim in the doorway. officials believe the two men did know each other. boston's police commissioner says there's a message connected to this tragedy. >> mayor walsh and myself are always talking about the violence and how many guns are out there. this is why we have to continue to get guns off the streets. >> christa: no word on what charges the suspect will be facing. >> kris: right now police on the lookout for a serial robber. they're calling him vicki, that nickname meant to be a little sarcastic i understand. >> victoria: definitely a little sarcastic. apparently he always has a spelling error in the note that he passes to tellers, and the f.b.i. is looking for this man. the most recent bank they believe he has hit is this td bank here in peabody. so he's on the f.b.i.'s most wanted web site. this td bank was robbed at 1:00 sunday in peabody. and it's the latest in a rash of robberies that have happened over the last two weeks.

wearing sunglasses, and he writes the word "robbery" on the note he passes pass to the tell, misspelling it, leaving out a "b." he's also often wirg a -- wearing a baseball cap. police are concerned because he is getting more aggressive. they believe this man is responsible for robbing four banks in arlington, reading, burlington and again here in peabody. is they need your help. they want you to pay attention to those pictures and contact them if you k who this man may be. there is also an award being offered through the mass most wanted program, as well. live in peabody, victoria warren, 7news "today in new england." >> christa: vicki, thank you. happening right now, police are investigating after a home went up in flames in tewksbury. this was on chandler street. crews shut down the road as they battled the flames. investigators say that no one was inside at the time. >> kris: and police are investigating after man is hit and killed by a commuter rail train.

investigators say this 59-year-old was hit right near wellesley square around 6:30 last night, the accident forcing matt bush officials to shut down the framingham-worcester line for more than an hour. >> you could hear the engineer scream, "emergency, emergency," and then we came to a sudden stop. so it's an unfortunate situation. you don't want to... you know, you're not worried about yourself anymore. you're concerned about who they probably hit. >> kris: right now police do not suspect foul play. >> christa: and a teens facing hate crime charges after they allegedly harassed and assaulted a woman on the "t." all 15 years old. they were arraigned in court thursday. prosecutors say the victim boarded a red line train last monday, and that's when the teens started verbally harassing her and mocking her accent. then when the victim tried the leave, they allegedly blocked her. one of the teens allegedly struck her in the face with a cell phone. the suspects are all due back in court coming up later this month. boston mayor marty walsh is

>> christa: i know it's a little soon for, this but it's the news we have to bring to you. the first big snowstorm of the season is moving through the west. in colorado the conditions caused a 20-car wreck and other snow-packed roads led to several other crashes. the storm is expected to bring about eight inches to the state. parts of south dakota also under winter weather warnings, as

this dog is jumping for joy at the snowflakes in colorado. this is the pup's very first snowstorm. got the play in it, right? it's crazy. they had warm weather there this week. a distant memory now. >> kris: the first snow is the fun one. it's the sixth, the seventh, the eighth. >> christa: exactly, when the snow starts getting dirty. >> kris: not fun to play in anymore, wren. >> wren: i hope we have some nice snow before we get into the that's usually way down the road. first we have to get some snow. it isn't going to be today. but as the midwest is seeing that snow right now, we're eventually looking at that system headed our way. more on that in a molt. today couldn't be a nicer friday forecast. mostly sunny skies. temperatures close to 60 degrees. we keep things mild as we head into tomorrow, as well. sunday we start the cool down. once we start, we just continue that trend into next week. temperatures this morning are quite varied for us, close to 50 degrees. across boston at 43 degrees.

15 degrees warmer across the cape and about 15 degrees cooler in the low-lying areas. you feel pretty chilly this morning. right now mostly sunny skies. a few additional clouds across the cape. and the cape is going to be breezier than the rest of us here today, as well. but everybody is looking at some nice friday sunshine here. temperature-wise, your travel forecast showing minneapolis in the low 30s. you can see we're going to be looking at actually that system moving our way. that's currently going the track through the ohio valley. so today is the last warmay temperatures in the mid-40s there. then we're looking at low pressure pushing into our neck of the woods. so low pressure is just tracking in from the midwest. that has already brought up to six inches of snow to duluth. the system does push in from our west, bringing us the chance for mostly rain, but we could see some snow actually in western massachusetts, across the berkshires. as well as potentially into the worcester hills. you can see the low pressure system does push further to our north. we're getting some winds associated with that here.

couple flurries mixed in there, mostly to our west as well as as to our north. still the potential for a couple flurries there. nothing will stay on the ground for us. but you can see some of those blues here, that mixture. we have a turnover as we push into cooler air. again, most of that snow staying further to our west. here's a will be at the big picture here. part of the reason we're seeing that cooler air pushing that upper. >> level low moves into new england this sunday is we have a major dip in the jetstream that ushers in some much cooler air kind of continues as we head into next week, as well. so your thanksgiving week looking to be cool. but today mostly sunny skies. temperatures in the mid to upper 50s for us. and then into tonight, we're looking at pretty seasonable temperatures, in the low 40s and upper 30s for most of us. cooler spots potentially in the mid-30s. your 7 on 7 forecast, tomorrow the last day to enjoy mild temperatures. we'll see increasing cloud cover saturday into sunday. back to you, guys. >> kris: wren, thanks so much. a group of teens from haverhill

making a big difference. >> christa: they wanted to reach out to some of their classmates who were just learning english. so they started this new group. it's incredible. they are this morning's class act. >> you're going to give us a card now. >> christa: reaching across cultural divides may seem difficult, but these students are making it work. buenos dias. today all three of you are the class act for this week. veronica lewis aerial kim all live in the haverhill area. they founded the group "value for all" over a year ago. it's a spanish-english club where students play game, make friends and learn from each other. >> we've made so many new friends. i've learned so much in spanish, and my conversational skills have advanced so far. >> it's like we're not even volunteering since we're both getting something in return. >> christa: the group meets two or three times a month at

in haverhill. while it's carefree and spontaneous now, its founders say it wasn't like that at first. >> it was awkward sometime, some of the meetings. >> it was a little tricky because we didn't know people. i could tell from them that they were a little bitner vows. >> christa: jumping out of their comfort zone, their determination paid off. >> they want to learn more about us. that makes me think they care about spanish people. taught spanish, so they help us. >> we are confident in learning because they don't judge us. >> we can teach some different american traditions, and they can teach us spanish songs. >> christa: in the end success that knows no end. >> i'm hoping that i can keep more friendship, learn more spanish, and stay connected with the people. >> so you cannot only help other people in the community, but you can also strengthen relationships and improve other

>> christa: we're tracking breaking news for you this morning. norton police involved in a stand whereof with an armed man who they say shot at officers while barricaded inside a home. one of those bullets striking a police vehicle. this all began around 9:30 at john scott boulevard in norton. about three hours later, the standoff ended peacefully with the suspect eventually surrendering to police. on this friday morning, a check of the day east other top stories. police say a teen tried to kidnap a girl. officers say 18-year-old john allen attacked a 14-year-old as she walked to her bus stop last week. according to police, he grabbed her by the neck and threw her to the ground, but a witness managed to intervene and the girl is now recovering. and mitt romney is set to meet with the president-elect donald trump over the weekend. a former massachusetts governor reportedly in consideration for u.s. secretary of state. as you know, the two were fierce critics of one another, but trump advisers say that since romney was the last g.o.p. nominee for president, the two

shocking video shows several hard hits during a umass boston soccer playoff game. now two of the team's key players will be sitting on the sidelines during the sweet 16. 's nancy chen is here with more on why. nancy? >> nancy: tough video to watch, isn't it? this is the first time the umass boston men's soccer team has ever made it to the sweet 16, but two players will be forced to miss this weekend's game after they delivered illegal hits during sunday's win. so both players received red cards, which means they were next game. watch here. in the first half of sunday's game, a player pulls down brockton native joshua collins. he responded by kicking the ball in the opponent's face. then in the second half, just moments after scoring the tying goal, williams appeared to elbow an opponent before throwing down another opponent. as you would expect here, the referee called a foul on williams, but moments after the

responded by delivering a head-butt to the official. you can see right there the ref will hold his head in place as he tries to keep his balance. then at another point in the game, it appears a different umass boston player head-butted an opponent. the referee did not call a foul on that contact. umass boston went on to win that game on penalty kicks. they will take on tufts in the tournament game in medford tomorrow. in the control room, nancy chen, 7news "today in new england." >> christa: nancy, thank you. well f quincy after residents say they're upset with the name of the high school's new football field. the new creeden field is named after a well-known family in the city, but the problem, lawrence creeden, the former superintendent of quincy schools, was accused of inappropriately touching a female student and admitted to sexually assaulting a homeless woman back in the 1980s. >> they could have omitted him and they didn't. they talked about his father. they talked about his mother, all really great people, but

his service to the city. >> christa: okay some the complaints have apparently come in too late according to officials. they say no one spoke up during public comment, so the parks and recreation board voted unanimously. the field will be officially dedicated coming up tomorrow. an elderly man is dead after a flight from fort myers, florida to, boston. jetblue says the flight crew reported a medical emergency involving passenger just before landing at he gann last night. mass state police say the man appears to have died from natural cau >> kris: new details about sal dimasi, the former massachusetts speaker of the house. he has been granted early release from federal prison. dimasi will be let out of the north carolina prison as a compassionate release as he undergoes treatment for throat and prostate cancer. he's expected to be home within weeks. dimasi was serving an eight-year sentence for fraud and extortion charges. a driver is facing charges after his car collided with train in revere.

yesterday. it's a story you saw here on 7. police say the 25-year-old tried to drive across the tracks after hitting another car late wednesday night. the vehicle was torn in half. the driver and passenger were seen running away from the crash site. somehow no one was hurt. >> a car was just hit by the train. >> a car was just hit by a train? >> yes. that's correct. >> christa: that there the 911 call from neighbors. the driver has been charged accident. >> christa: and new this morning, a massachusetts woman is suing brown university, saying that administrators did not properly investigate after she claimed that three members of the school's football team raped her. according to the "globe," the lawsuit states that officials later found explicit pictures as well as texts that show students laughing about the alleged assault. the lawsuit claims the school never finished its investigation and never punished the students

making a startling discover inside a nashua high school, a loaded gun. it was in a backpack in nashua south. it all started when a 17-year-old started having a seizure. school officials searched his backpack and found a gun inside. that teen was taken to the hospital for treatment. >> christa: about 1,100 tickets sold to the canceled grand prix in boston race have been refunded and more are on the way.?maura healey says $650s been refunded. the race was scheduled for labor dayke april. an electrical worker is doing okay after being stuck for more than an hour in cambridge. the worker was installing christmas lights at raymond park on thursday when the controls on his bucket truck failed. coworker tried to lower him, but the truck wouldn't work. firefighters had to reach a bucket of their own to reach the man and brick him back to solid ground. >> kris: police in hingham reminded why they go to work after receiving thank you noted from a young resident.

through colorado. they've grabbed up to a foot of snow in wyoming and montana. so some pretty impressive system. it's going to bring us some moisture, but for your friday forecast, we keep that high pressure. that scoots off as we head into saturday. we'll see some increasing cloud cover even by saturday afternoon. you can see that low pressure system off to our west pushing on in. and as it does so, i do think we're looking at the chance for some snow in western massachusetts, the berkshires seeing some of that snow and then as you can see, lots of green through most of massachusetts. so that's really what we could see a couple flurries in the merrimack valley, worcester hills, as well. and most of that snow staying significantly to our west. but we do have a push of cold air headed our way into the start of next week. as the jetstream does change its pattern. so we've had very warm weather, but take a look into next week, the jetstream does dip and ushers in some chilly canadian air for us with highs into next week in the mid-40s. so some cooler weather headed our way. >> kris: wren, thanks so much.

officers. >> kris: one of those bullets hit a police vehicle. nicole oliverio is live with breaking details. nicole? >> nicole: chris, the good news is no officers were hurt and police say the standoff ended peacefully with that suspect under arrest. this all happened around 9:30 last night when north whereon -- norton police responded to a call on john scott boulevard for a domestic incident. the suspect inside had a handgun. a woman and young child were also inside that home and but they say that suspect barricaded himself inside of the home, claiming that he had 500 rounds of ammunition. that's when police staged an area around the home. shots were then fired at the officers. some of the bullets actually hitting a police car. police, though, did not return fire, instead they used a negotiator who finally managed to get that suspect out of the house. they managed to put him under arrest. he was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation. but he's now facing a number of charges.

7news "today in new england." >> kris: new this morning a rhode island youth football league has lifted a ban on a providence team that allowed a 19-year-old to play in a youth game. the team was kicked out of the league after the man took the field the play with 13 and 14 year olds last month. the coach of that team has been fired. two men are facing murder charges after a gruesome discovery that was made in new jersey. police found the body of a 26-year-old connecticut man stuffed in a suitcase then buried in jersey. officers arrested two men thursday after they allegedly stabbed the victim in a new york city apartment building. >> you don't expect this to happen to anybody that you know or to any friend that you have, but especially a guy like him. >> kris: investigators believe the suspects were at a party with the victim last weekend. >> christa: also this morning, federal prosecutors resting their case for the execution of convicted killer gary lee

thursday. family mention of sampson's victims took the stand and they described their pain of losing their loved ones. the father of one of the victims says the jury really needed to hear their stories. >> that's what this is about. it's not about anything else except jonathan and eli. >> he was a good kid. he did a lot of things. i think he had a lot of promise. i think people should just know that. >> christa: sampson was convicted of killing three people. he was initially sentenced to overturned because of juror misconduct. a vermont man pleading guilty to the drunk driving crash that killed his best friend. 20-year-old joseph cassano admitted to motor vehicle homicide and o.u.i. on thursday. he was sentenced to three and a half years in jail in addition to three years of probation. police say he was behind the wheel when he crashed into a utility pole in beverly, killing 19-year-old craig sampson, who had been sitting right there in the passenger seat. the victim's father says he

yourself? >> jennifer: allen jumped into the car while a female driver tried to hide her face. bourne police arrested allen after officers say he tried kidnapping a 14-year-old girl as she was walking to her bus stop on puritan road last week. >> i think it's great they have an arrest. obviously if somebody does that to a person, it could happen to somebody else. i'm surprised. they didn't have much to gon grabbed her by the neck from behind and threw her to the ground. a witness was able to intervene and save her from the attack. >> this is a fairly closely knit neighborhood. people watch out for their neighbors. >> jennifer: police say allen lives on puritan road, the same area where the attack happened. officers aren't saying what evidence led them to the teen, but they say they hope the arrest will make the community feel safer. and police aren't saying anything about a possible motive in this case right now. allen heads to falmouth district court later this morning. live in bourne, jennifer eagan, 7news "today in new england."

is on the hunt for the so-called "spelling bee bandit." he's a serial bank robber who investigators say is passing notes that have a distinct misspelling i guess to the teller. 7's victoria warren is live in peabody with more on how this man got his nickname. vicki? >> victoria: good morning, kris. the f.b.i. gave him his nickname because he apparently has some trouble spelling the word "robbery." the last bank they believe he hit washi peabody, and that was last sunday around 1:00 in the afternoon. he's on the f.b.i.'s most wanted web site. now, in peabody this bank was robbed and it's a rash of robberies over the last two weeks. in every case this man is wearing sunglasses. he writes the word "robbery," misspelling it by leaving out a "b." that's why they're calling him a spelling bee bandit. he's wearing a baseball cap. the f.b.i. is concerned because he's getting more aggressive.

>> christa: drivers out west had a tough time gig around during first major snowstorm of the season. this is c caused a 20-car wreck. snowpacked roads led to several other crashes, as well. it's expected to bring eight inches of snow to the state by the time it's all over. parts of south dakota also under winter weather warnings, as well. and several flights had to be delayed. at least one little guy very excited about the snow. this dog is jumping for joy at the first snowflakes in colorado. this is the pup's very first snowstorm. i mean, it's all fun and games

fallen. as we head into the rest of our forecast, we're just looking at high pressure through today. this starts the lose its grip on us as we head enter our saturday forecast. into saturday afternoon, cloud cover thickens up, you can see this frontal system headed our way. that's going the track further to our north. we do get some moisture associated with this system. auburn you can see some blues soak the berkshires. we're looking at this potential for flurries, a bit of a mix. we start to usher in that cooler air. that could allow changeover from showers to a built of snow. sunday once we day, you can see we're really looking at mostly just showers here. scattered showers throughout the day. throughout eastern mass, a couple flurries mixed in with those showers potentially into late sunday night. but again, most of that will stay to our west. worcester hills potentially seeing a couple flurries. all of that melting as soon as it hits the ground. you can see as we head into next week, we usher in cool canadian air. the jetstream changes it pattern after that upper-level low moves through. we put very cool air in place

police. a check of your friday morning top stories now. a teen from born is set to face a judge after police say he tried to kidnap a young girl. officers say 18-year-old john allen attacked the 14-year-old as he was walking to our bus step last week. according to police, he grabbed her by the neck and threw her to the ground. a witness was there and did manage to intervene and this morning the girl is still recovering. and three teenage girls charged with hate crime after police say they attacked a who they thought was an imgrand. a prosecutor says the victim boarded the red line train when the teen started verbally harassing her, mocking her act accent. when the victim tried the leave, one of the teens allegedly struck her in the face with a cell phone. >> kris: trouble video of several hard hits and two key players on the sideline. nancy chen has more of what

watch. the this is first time the umass boston men's soccer team has made it to the sweet 16, but two players will be forced to miss this weekend's game after they delivered illegal hits during sunday's game. both players received red cards, which means they were ejected and suspended for the next game. in the first half of sunday's game, a player pulled down brockton native joshua khan. he responded by kicking the ball in the opponents' face. then in the second half, just moments after scoring the tying an opponent for throwing down another opponent. as you would expect, the referee called a foul on william, but moments after the ref issued a red card on him, he responded by delivering a head-butt to the official. you can see the ref holding his head as he tries to keep his balance. and at another point in the game, it appears a different umasss be player head-butted an opponent. the referees did in the call a foul on that contact. umasss be went on to win that

tufts in the tournament game, that's in medford tomorrow. in the newsroom, nancy chen, 7news "today in new england." >> christa: nancy, thank you. new this morning a massachusetts woman is suing brown university saying that strait yours did not properly investigate after she claimed that three members of the school's football team raped her. according to the gloap, the lawsuit states that officials later found explicit pictures as well as texts that show students laughing about the alleged assaulted. the lawsuit claims the school never finished its invesga boston police arresting an armed steejer outside the boston municipal courthouse wednesday. officers say they received the call around noontime. when they approached the 18-year-old suspect, they say he started resisting and fighting. eventually they were able to take him into custody. and an elderly man died during a flight from florida to boston. massachusetts state police say the man appears to have died from natural causes yesterday. jetblue says the flight crew

they landed. officials are not considering his death to be suspicious. >> kris: a field of controversy in quincy after the new name of creedon field. it's named after a well-known family in the city, but the problem is lawrence creedon, the former superintendent of quincy schools, was accused of inappropriately touching a female student and admitted to sexually assaulting a homeless woman back in the 1980s. >> they could have omitted him th they talked about his mother. they talked about his brother, all really great people, but they also talked about him in his service to the city. >> kris: officials there say the complaints came in a little too late, so no one spoke up during the public comment. so parks and recreation board voted unanimously. the field will filibusterly be dedicated tomorrow. >> christa: a driver is facing charges after his car collided with a train in revere. this is a story we first told you about here yesterday morning.

the mis-spelled notes handed over at several bank robberies. >> christa:>> kris: all right. it's time in know and go. we have all you day's top stories. >> christa: let's start off with traffic and weather on a friday. wren has good news for us today. >> wren: i do. it will be a beautiful friday forecast. clear skies for most of us. a few additional clouds across the cape. they'll also be breezier. wind gusts around 20 to 30mph. off to our west, we'll take you over there, this is what's headed our way into sunday. we enjoy mild conditions today anom it has a track record for a good deal of snow. already some heavier snow bands. a blizzard watch over in eastern south dakota as well as western minnesota, and they are looking at a lot of snow. we're not going to be looking at the snowy end of things with this system. we'll be looking at showers pushing in as we head into sunday. the high pressure is in chad of our weather pattern. that's today and into tomorrow. but even by tomorrow afternoon, we'll start the see cloud cover thicken up a little bit out ahead of this system.

of ammunition. that's when norton police along with swat team members surrounded the home, created a staging area. they say the suspect then opened fire. some of those bullets actually hitting police cars. again, fortunately no officers were injured, and police did not return fire. and finally, they managed to get that suspect out of the home after negotiators spoke with him. he was taken to a nearby hospital, but he also faces a number of charges. we're live in norton, nicole oliverio, 7news "today in new england." >> christa: this morning an arrest has been made in the assault and attempted kidnapping of a 14-year-old girl in bourne. the teen is facing some charges today. 7's jennifer eagan is live in bourne this morning with the latest. >> jennifer: kris, people in this area were glad the hear police made an arrest. it's a troubling case. 18-year-old john allen facing charges of attempted kidnap, strangulation and assault and battery. he was booked at the bourne police department yesterday and then released on bail.

allegedly grabbed a 14-year-old girl as she walked to her bus stop, threw her to the ground and had his hands around her neck. a witness intervened and the attack her ran off. this all happened on puritan road. allen lives on that road. police haven't said anything about a possible motive in this case or what led them to allen. allen was placed under arrest yesterday here at the police station. he heads to court in falmouth later today. we're live in bourne this morning, jennifer eagan, 7news "today in new england." >> christa: right now the so-called spelling bee bandit. a serial bank robber who investigators say passes a distinct note over to tellers. let's go to's victoria warren. she's in peabody with more on how he got his nickname. vicki? >> victoria: well, christa, the f.b.i. gave him his nickname because apparently he has trouble spelling the word "robbery." and they believe he's responsible for several bank robbery, including the latest one here in peabody at this td bank. the f.b.i. has his picture on

the td bank in peabody was robbed at 1:00 sunday afternoon. and it is the latest in a rash of robberies over the last two weeks. in every case this man is wearing sunglasses. he hands a note with the word "robbery" on it, but misspelling the word by leaving out a b. that's why they're calling him the spelling b ban did. he's often wearing a baseball cap, and the f.b.i. is concerned because they say he's getting more aggressive with each successive robbery. they believe he's responsible for at least four, one in arlington, one in reading, one in burlington, and one in peabody. so if you have any information about who this man may be, they want the hear from you. there is an aware being offered through the mass most wanted tip program. live in peabody, victoria warren, 7news "today in new england." >> kris: three teenage girls charged with a hate crime after an attack on the "t." police say they targeted a woman who they thought was an immigrant. two of the 15 year olds were arraigned in court yesterday
