lana zak, abc news, the capitol. patrick: like lana mentioned, the president-elect also met with house speaker paul ryan. this was the first time the two men have appeared together in front of the cameras. ryan and trump never campaigned together. people are protesting trump's election win in philadelphia for a second night. these are live pictures of protesters marching through the streets. organizers told protesters to wear black and carry candles. there have been a wave of protests across the u.s. in the last 24 hours. there were rallies in chicago, new york, oakland and los angeles. officials say more than 100 people have been arrested. in oakland, protesters broke windows and started fires. in l.a., they shutdown a freeway. and in the big apple, protesters blocked traffic outside trump's manhattan home. >> we are very scared of what is going to happen to the lgbt community. >> the faa has imposed flight restrictions around trump tower in new york.

guarding out front. tonight on world news, a look at who the president-elect might pick for his cabinet. and a breakdown of the voters who cast a ballot for donald trump on tuesday. you can watch their coverage tonight at 5:30, right after this newscast. toya: a night out at potawatomi casino ends badly for a shorewood man. police say he might have been followed home then robbed of his winnings. wisn 12 news mike anderson is live at the casino. mica police are now issuing a , -- mike, police are now issuing a warning. >> they want to bring attention this case. they say the shorewood man was here at potawatomi last night, then robbed at gunpoint outside his home right after leaving here. investigators say it happened in the parking lot at man's shorewood apartment building. it was about 3:50 a.m. >> the suspect took the money then got into a red minivan with no plates which was waiting for him, then fled eastbound on east edgewood. a spokesman for potawatomi told 12 news the police did request surveillance video from their security team and it was provided to police. they're looking to see if he was followed.

12 news investigated similar cases last year. they include a woman followed home to richfield and robbed while in her own driveway. we have surveillance video of woman being followed by a man accused of following her to her greenfield home. patrick: new tonight police have , arrested the suspected driver in a hit and run crash that killed a five-year-old milwaukee girl. police say the 30-year-old was taken into custody around ten -- 10:00 this morning on the city's northwest side. no other details are being released. he's accused of driving the porsche suv that struck and killed rickyia langham sunday on leon terrace near constance. her family tells wisn 12 news she was with her mom on her way to church when she was hit. patrick: new information about a woman hit and killed by a semi on the interstate. it happened on i-94 near college avenue. the milwaukee county sheriff's office tells 12 news that witnesses say the woman was walking along the freeway ramp when she looked right at the semi and ran in front of it. you can see from newschopper 12, the semi driver stayed at the scene. the woman has not yet been identified. an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow. a car crash in milwaukee ends up on a sidewalk.

we are just two weeks away from one of the busiest travel periods of the year. the tsa is hoping to make it a smoother ride at airport security. they held a show and tell at mitchell international this morning, showing off some of the most common items people try to smuggle through security checkpoints every day. they include large bottles of liquids, knives, and tools. >> our officers have to react to them, causing a delay in our screening process. delayed. patrick: the tsa screens about 10,000 people daily at milwaukee's airport. the agency expects that number to increase to 12,000 to 13,000 passengers between thanksgiving and new year's. new tonight, a new sendik's will soon open down the street from miller park. toya: according to our partners at biztimes milwaukee, the store on miller park way and burnham will open tuesday. sendik's says it wanted to open that location before the holiday shopping season. it hired 140 full and part time workers. the miller park location is the first of six new stores sendik's plans to open over the next
