"i was actually monitoring it all day because when i picked her up from school we seen that

we heard on the news that the other roads were flooded in town so we were just keeping an eye on it and waiting for the email from the school.'" officials hope to reopen the school tomorrow. and flood waters kept nearly 20 kids and 3 staff members from leaving kindercare in west allis. the staff made dinner for the kids -- and the fire department took everyone to a nearby church. kindercare will reopen this and nathan hale high school will also back open this morning after reports of water leaking into the building last night. we're told it has been cleaned up and we energies to restored power overnight. families across milwaukee are hoping things dry out today after seeing flash flooding last night. we find julie collins live this morning near 38th and lincoln where they saw some of the worst of it - julie?

hearing at the end of the month. a milwaukee county judge extended a restraining order against sheriff david clarke in court yesterday. this all goes back to sunday when the county executive ordered the fence taken down. but by the afternoon the sheriff ordered it back up. that lead to a rare sunday night court hearing. now-- the presiding judge says the dispute clearly runs deep. 5-point-8-million-dollars --- that's how much damage was done during the riots in the sherman park neighborhood when seven businesses were set on fire last month. according to a break-down from the milwaukee fire depa o'reilly autoparts... which was a total loss... suffered the most damage at 1- point-4-million. the b-p gas station-- also a total loss of suffered more than 589-thousand dollars. half of jet beauty is gone... the cost exceeding 800-thousand-dollars. and at bmo harris bank... which saw a 25-percent loss... it will take more than 1-point-2 million dollars to repair the destruction. the rest of the damage total includes big jim's liquor, pj supermarket and m-j-m liquor.
