before midnight. he was taken to the hospital...and his condition is unknown at this time. no arrests have been made and police continue to investigate. an infant is the latest victim of gun violence in milwaukee. a two-month-old girl -- shot while riding in a car on interstate 43. fox 6s derica williams joins us live near port washington and hampton where the scene unfolded. thankfully, north shore fire and rescue says the infant is expected to live. she went to children's hospital for trea yesterday evening. the infant was in a car was going northbound on 43 when the incident happened. after the shooting, the driver got off here at hampton avenue and pulled into a parking lot. meanwhile, milwaukee county sheriff's deputies closed northbound 43 at keefe for an hour sunday evening to figure out where the shooting happened. witnesses on scene were just hoping the little girl

a little kid, that age, to have to go through this, and for the parents to deal with this definitely an unfortunate and sad situation. the sheriff's office hasn't said what led up to the shooting... where the bullet came from... or if there are any suspects. we should learn more today about a woman whose body was found over the weekend. milwaukee police responded to the scene n saturday afternoon. the circumstances surrounding the death are under investigation-- but police are ruling it a homicide. the medical examiner's office says the victim is an adult female. an autopsy will be done later today. milwaukee police are investigating a crash that left two women dead and another two people seriously hurt over the weekend. it happened shortly after one yesterday morning near 32-nd and hampton. officials say a man lost control of his s-u-v and struck a utility pole-- killing two women in the vehicle. the

they're both in serious condition. the trial for a milwaukee sex offender -- accused of re-offending-- begins today. police say 67-year-old jameel ali sexually assaulted a woman back in may. ali is already a convicted sex offender. he was released back to the community on april 20, with the requirement that he inform officials if he moved. but police say he cut off his g-p-s monitoring device so officers couldn't find him. his trial begins later this morning. also this morning-- michael morgan's deadly arson trial will continue. scheduled to be in court last week... but never showed up. officials say they found the witness -- and are holding him in the milwaukee county jail on unrelated charges. morgan is accused of setting a fire in milwaukee that killed two young children last october. a big summerfest announcement this morning. it doesn't have to do with any musical acts coming to milwaukee...but it does have to do with one of the stages. angelica joins us now with the new information. it looks like the miller lite oasis stage is getting a

one person is dead and two others hurt after a shooting in the parking lot of a wal-mart in kansas. it happened yesterday afternoon outside a store in shawnee. police say two people walked up to a womn they began hitting the woman in the head and when a good samaritan tried to stop them -- one of the suspects opened fire. another bystander then stepped in and shot one of the suspects -- killing him. investigators say the other suspect then attempted to flee the scene. he was later caught with the help of a k-9 unit. "pretty upsetting to see a man shot in front of you and die there in walmart's lot. i'm shook up. it was chaotic, police car ran in very

watching and videoing." the woman..and the good samaritan who was shot are both hospitalized in critical condition. cops say the baby in the incident is not hurt. authorities are investigating the motive. three people are dead after a plane crashed into a parking lot at the reno tahoe international airport. the plane was leaving the runway...when it crashed. several cars were damaged as well. the plane was apparently headed to san carlos, california. the f-a-a is investigating. and in new mexico - police close part of the airport after finding a suspicious package near a checkpoint on sunday. the bomb squad was called in and the area was evacuated. the f-b-i says there was "no public safety threat." officials have not said exactly what they found. about six flights were delayed as a result of the investigation. coming up - one of the tennessee titans facing a fine this morning after wearing cleats honoring the victims of 9-11. who is coming forward to pay the fine for him. plus - milwaukeeans remember the lives lost in one of the worst
