delays breaking news --- milwaukee police are searching for a shooting suspect. angelica is following the developments from the newsroom... good morning. police say a 25-year old was shot in the arm near fond du lac and custer. this all happened around 1-30. investigating. police say two people got into an argument and the suspect grabbed a gun and shot the man. police searched an apartment building after the shooting. "we believed the suspect had gone into an apartment.... we just wanted to be sure, we wanted to check the apartment to make sure not only that he was or was not in there but that everyone else in the apartment was safe as well. " the tactical enforcement unit was called in as a precaution. the suspect was never found. police say the public is not in

opening statements were yesterday. prosecutors say the fire was intentionally set by michael morgan in milwaukee last october. morgan's trial had been suspended since last week-- after a witness for the prosecution never showed up. the witness was eventually found -- and he's being held in the milwaukee county jail on unrelated charges. morgan is facing numerous charges including two counts of reckless homicide. also happening in court today... a motions hearing will be held for the man accused of killing berit beck. jurors failed to reach a verdict against 62- brantner earlier this year. now prosecutors say they'll try again. brantner is accused of killing beck back in 19-90. he's already in prison-- serving a 6- year drug-related sentence. happening now --- milwaukee police are asking for your help identifying a sexual assault suspect. take a good look at this picture. officers say this man sexually assaulted a 19-year old woman near 62-nd and fiebrantz on august 31-st. according to police -- he approached the woman, pointed a gun at her, and assaulted her. he has a dark complexion, muscular build, and

meanwhile-- one of avery's former attorneys is reacting to recent developments in the case against brendan dassey. dassey was convicted of helping his uncle kill teresa halbach -- but last month a federal judge rule dassey's confession was coerced. attorney dean strang spoke to a packed room on marquette's campus yesterday. he never represented dassey but says he's not surprised by brad schimel's decision to appeal and uphold the conviction. the second gymnast says she was 15 when nassar sexually abused her in the year 2000. nassar's lawyer says he denies any wrong-doing. dozens of students in new york-- now home safe after having to be rescued from a sailboat on the hudson river. rescue units pushed the boat ashore in new jersey after it experienced engine failure. no one was hurt. the boat is operated by a nonprofit that hosts sailing trips to promote environmental awareness. officials at the newark liberty jersey are trying to figure out what caused two power outages. travelers experienced delays monday amid power outages at a united airlines tower. the first power failure reportedly occurred around five p-m and lasted for about forty five minutes. the lgihts then went out again fifteen minutes later, returning at about seven-30. according to a united airlines statement, the outages led to delays averaging 60 to 90 minutes... but some travelers reported delays of more than two hours.
