gunshots... and then realized he had been shot. he was taken to a hospital for a non- life threatening injury. police are investigating. a new lead in case of a baby shot on i-43 in milwaukee county. investigators are now looking for a very specific car... julie collins joins us live from port washington and hampton ave -- with developments -- julie? the milwaukee county sheriff's office developed a description after shooting. and they say this is the car wanted: a maroon or dark red lincoln m-k-s or m-k-z. they say someone in this 4-door sedan fired shots at another vehicle at near i-43 and hampton. the suspect car then exited at hampton-- headed east. the car hit by the gunfire-- also exited at hampton. a 2-month-old girl in carseat was struck. she's was hospitalized, but is now recovering at home. the sheriff's office is still investigating the reason for the shooting

suspected case of road rage. if you have any information that could help find this red new this morning --- a home in whitewater is a total loss after an overnight fire. a neighbor saw smoke coming from the house...but by the time firefighters arrived on scene...the house was fully engulfed. no one was home at the time....and no one was hurt. a fire inspector has been called out to the scene. the cause of the fire is under investigation. a preliminary hearing is delayed for the man accused of stealing a car and leading police on a high speed chase. that's because a witness didn't showed up yesterday. 23-year-old larrb felony charges. police say he stole a lexus at gunpoint on august 8th... and was seen driving it august 30th. according to court documents... a milwaukee police officer chased the stolen car from milwaukee to wauwatosa... reaching speeds as high as 90 miles an hour. at one point bradley allegedly blew through a stop light and hit another vehicle. his next court hearing set for next thursday. a fond du lac county judge recuses himself from the dennis brantner case. back in june-- brantner's trial for the murder of berit beck ended

discuss the possibility of a re-trial-- which is when judge gary sharpe announced he would step aside. he said his impartiality could be questioned-- based on comments he made outside of court. beck disappeared in 19-90 when making her way from sturtevant to appleton. a celebration of eric von's life is set for today at marquette university... angelica joins us now with more on the event. eric von was an icon over the airwaves and in the community -- and many are sad to see him go. von hosted shows every weekday morning on w-n-o-v . focused on concerns and issues which plague the milwaukee area. he passed away last week. the event celebrating his life today will run from 3 to 7 p-m at the marquette alumni memorial union. it will feature a special program with reflections and a video presentation. instead of flowers -- organizers are asking for donations to be made to the wisconsin black media association. it may be one of the smartest homes you'll see.... what high-tech gadgets you can find

delays the search is on this morning fired a bullet that hit a baby. the milwaukee county sheriffs office is asking for help in locating a vehicle that may have been involved in a shooting on sunday. julie collins has more from glendale. the shooting happened on northbound i-43 near capitol dr. on sunday. a two-month-old girl was struck and injured while in her car seat when bullets pierced a car. and now police say they are seeking this car. the suspect's car is believed to be a newer lincoln foor-door sedan, that is maroon or dark red

plate information is available at this time. the car was last seen exiting at hampton-- heading east. the incident temporarily shut down northbounds 1-43 at keefe as deputies investigated. anyone having information or knowledge of the whereabouts of a vehicle that matches this description should call the milwaukee county sheriffs office. as for the injured child - she was taken to children's hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. reporting n glendale this morning -- julie collins. testimony continues today for the man accused of setting a house of fire --- killing two little kids. michael morgan is accused of setting a house fire that killed two children last october.. his trial had been suspended since last week-- after a witness for the prosecution never showed up. the witness was eventually found -- and is being held in the milwaukee county jail on unrelated charges. yesterday.... the victims' grandmother gave her testimony. it was her daughter's house that was set on fire. i start running to the neighbors and ask for help, did you make
