now at 5:30 breaking news overnight-- police in new jersey are investigating a suspicious package found near a train station. how many explosive devices authorities found inside the backpack. we are ahead of an approaching cold front and with a breeze from the southwest today we will warm into the low 80s with dewpoints climbing into the mid to upper 60s. the cold front cuts through wi this evening and overnight. that will likely trigger storms.

investigators say one of the devices exploded as a bomb squad robot was trying to disarm it. the fbi has been working to disarm the other four devices. there were no reports of injuries, but the city's mayor says there could be more detonations. this -- just days after a bombing in manhattan. fbi agents reportedly pulled a car over in brooklyn late last night and are questioning the five people inside that vehicle about saturday night's bombing. the explosion happened in manhattan's neighborhood-- coming from a device in or near a dumpster. 29 people were hurt-- and they've all since been released from the hospital. just blocks away, police found an un- detonated pressure-cooker. investigators say surveillance videos show the same man near both locations police say they've blown up the second device. also saturday-- authorities in minnesota are investigating a potential act of terrorism after nine people were stabbed at a mall. a somali man dressed as a security guard entered the mall

long lines at the pump in the southeast-- as some states declare a state of emergency. but first-- federal investigators are heading to north carolina to look into a deadly bus crash. kim is in the newsroom with more. two members of a south carolina junior college football team, the bus driver and a ten-year-old boy were killed in the crash. 42 others were also hurt in the wreck saturday afternoon. officials say the group was on its ways to the college's first-ever football game h slammed into a highway overpass. police believe the left front tire of the bus blew out-- sending the left side scraping against a concrete overpass column. classes at the college have been canceled for today. drivers in the southeast are waking up to a big sticker shock at the gas pumps this morning. that is-- if they can find gas at all. a leak earlier this month caused a closure of a key pipeline that carries gas to the eastern u-s. gas prices have gone up an average

and 16 cents in georgia. six states across the region -- alabama, georgia, north carolina, south carolina, tennessee and virginia -- have declared states of emergency, relaxing limits on fuel transportation to try to stave off shortages and price spikes. the city of chicago -- turning to body cameras to rebuild trust between its officers and the community. officials with the police department took center stage yesterday -- confirming officers on every patrol will display wearable cameras by the end of 20-18. 4-thousand body cams deployed will be able to store about 70 hours of videoand audio. the price tag for the additional cameras will cost approximately eight million dollars. new berlin police searching for an armed robbery suspect. more on the getaway vehicle - coming up next. plus - success stories coming out of sherman park after violent protests last month. the rehab being done on area homes - next and still ahead - the packers shaking off the loss to the

for an armed robbery suspect... it happened around 3-30 yesterday afternoon at a gas station near 124th street and cleveland avenue. the suspect got away with cash and cigarettes... nobody was hurt. the getaway vehicle is described as possibly an older blue chevy cavalier with faded headlights and faded paint. anybody with information is asked to call new berlin police. find the suspects for setting a robbery victim on fire. it happened near 53rd and clarke just before nine saturday night. police say a 36-year-old man was the victim of a drug related robbery... when he was then intentionally set on fire. the victim was taken to the hospital with significant burn injuries. members of the group 'common ground' are trying to showcase some success stories coming out of sherman park. the area was rocked with unrest last month... but common ground says the work theyve been doing in the neighborhood for the last five
