violent protests in charlotte, north carolina overnight after a police officer shot and killed a black this comes on the heels of another police shooting in oklahoma last week doug luzader reports both incidents are certain to become issues out on presidential campaign trail later today. big protests in charlotte -- even though some of the basic facts here are in dispute. but this happens in an already politically charged environment. pkg protesters moved into the streets of charlotte -- and eventually began to take over interstate 85, appearing to loot trucks and set fires....

using tear gas. this after a black police officer shot and killed 43 year old keith lamont scott, who was also black. police say he was armed, posing a threat, but some dispute that. mos: "they jumped out they trucks. they said hands up. he got a gun, he got a gun. pow, pow, pow, pow, pow. that's it. he had no gun." this after police in tulsa shot and killed an unarmed black man on friday, also leading to protests. and democratic presidential nominee with them during a radio interview yesterday. hrc: "we have got to do everything possible to improve policing to go right at implicit bias.' williams: " and what you see right now is with the polls tightening, there is a great deal of concern about whether or not the latino vote and the black vote are sufficiently energized for hillary clinton" republican nominee donald trump also reaching out to minorities

the conditions at the wisconsin veterans home at king all too well. the home will be the subject of a public hearing in madison today. king is located about two hours northwest of milwaukee-- in waupaca county. concerns started surfacing in 2005. lawmakers are about to audit the facility-- after claims of injuries, infections and tainted drinking water. the daughter of a former rese given medication he was allergic to... and had conditions that went untreated. walter sundling was a resident at king from in april of 2012 until he passed in march of 2015. the family documented everything.... and says no one listened to their concerns about abuse... his family says officials at the wisconsin veterans home at king... ignored and overmedicated sundling after he suffered a leg wound for three months. the family wrote letters to king officials, legislators... and even sent complaints directly to
