39th and silver spring, with more details. justin? the ripples of relief continue, this afternoon, as a 15-month-old baby boy returns to his spot, as the focus of his family. but, this relief arrives, only after his rescue relies on an amber alert, and an alert neighbor. today, fox 6 speaks, exclusively, to this neighbor. i notice him, right here, and he just inched-up, here, and he parked, here, like, diagonally. around 6 p-m sunday evening, and he was just about to drive away from the 5600 block of north 39th street, in milwaukee, when he noticed an unfamiliar kia ... followed by an unfamiliar honda s- u-v. the driver door opened, on the kia, and the passenger door opened, on the honda s-u-v, you know, so i dont know what kinda transaction was goin on. sullivan said he waited.. and watched the kia driver.

side, and i guess the driver jumped into the passenger seat, and they stormed down 39th street. sullivan then went to a relatives house. nearly two hours later, he, and others, received an amber alert. they looked at me and was like, didnt you just tell us this story? i was like, lemme call my mom and see if the vehicles still out there. then she looked out here. i said, call the police. dont go to the vehicle, cuz theres a baby in there. the baby was 15-month old taratino carter, whose mother, milwaukee police say, left him in her running vehicle, as she went inside a convenience store, at 60th and good hope. this is when, investigators say, a the baby inside. the car got this far, before being abandoned. i dont think thats heroic. i think thats, um, thats human instinct, and i think thats what any, natural human being, responsible human being, shoulda done, if they even notice somethin, like that. i'm told the baby was unharmed, and asleep, when he was discovered in the vehicle. in fact, it must have been a pretty sound sleep, because, im told a neighbor checked the vehicle,

milwaukee police say they continue searching for a suspect, this afternoon. this is the latest, in milwaukee. im justin williams, fox 6 news. brad thanks justin a 23 year old man turns himself into police this morning. officials say he was driving a car that crashed into another car-- an uber-- and killed three, then took off. fox6's myra sanchick is live at second and clybourn where the accident happened. one of the victim's parents live in menomonee falls. they were notified sunday of this horrrific crash. the crash was heard several blocks away. it was loud, it sounded like a boom two mangled cars left first responders doing a lengthy task of getting those in an uber ford fusion out

officials say the hit and run driver took off. killed in the crash, ashley sawatske, whose family lives in menomonee falls, lindsey cohen and amy taylor, all from chicago. an investigative report says the women were headed to the kimpton journey hotel. police say the lexus ran a red light at a high rate of speed and crashed into the uber. the driver of the uber is hospitalized raising money for his medical bills on go fund me sites. as for the hit and run driver, we are not identifying him until he is charged. however police say monday morning he turned himself in. we've learned that 23 year old has a history of drunk driving and driving with a revoked license. the injured uber driver is expected to survive. live in milwaukee myra sanchick fox6 news

house speaker paul ryan's predecessor -- is now threatening ryan's hold on the job. political reporter theo keith is in the newsroom. theo, this all has to do with donald trump. even if ryan wins re-election, which is likely, and republicans keep control of the house -- suddenly not a lock -- ryan's speakership is in doubt because of dissent in his own party. nats -- hey everybody from fall fest speaker paul ryan is trying to prevent donald trump's plungi that would allow democrats to regain control of the u-s house. yet some republicans, unhappy with ryan's refusal to defend trump, are threatening the speaker's job. a lot of the people who believe so desperately that we need to put donald trump in the white house, they question the loyalty of the speaker. i do think there will be real discussions after november 8 on who our leadership will be and what that will look
