developing story throughout wakeup. police are investigating a few crashes from overnight... angelica joins us from the newsroom with the details. let's start with racine county-- where a motorcycle crash leaves one person dead. it happened in the town of raymond. someone called 9-1-1 after coming across a motorcycle that appeared to have hit a mailbox and a tree. the driver was already deceased. authorities believe the crash happened hours before the 9-1-1 call reporting the accident. the cause is still under investigation..but speed and alcohol and three people are in custody after police say they lead officers on a high speed chase on i-43 overnight. police say the car was taken in an armed robbery. the car crashed into the ditch just south of brown deer road. one man...and two juvenile females were taken into custody at the scene. there were no injuries...and no other vehicles were involved. kim and jessob. back to you. a bank robbery suspect leads police on a wild chase. it spanned across three counties and eventually came to an end

cigarettes helped lead to an arrest. it all began at the north shore bank at 60th and forest home. police say a suspect implied he had a weapon and robbed the bank. he then took off in a white van. investigators say the man led them through milwaukee, waukesha and washington counties. the suspect made a stop to buy cigarettes at a hartford gas station. he tried running from police, but was eventually arrested. guy comes in here all frantically, skips our line and tells me he needs a pack of cigarettes... after i give him his change back, he looks out the window and about 8 squad cars are here.jessob/vopolice say the suspect stole the van from we are told at least two vehicles were hit by the suspect. no one was seriously injured. a trail of blood leads to an arrest in connection to the death of a popular bar owner. but the charges aren't for homicide.... maurice cain is facing several

they stumbled on a drug operation in his apartment. mike patton was shot to death inside his bar last monday. cain, was the self described "bar manager" and subleased the apartment upstairs from patton. investigators say a trail of blood led them to kick in cain's door. inside, they say they found drugs including heroin, meth, cocaine, and marijuana as well as more than 125- thousand dollars in cash. police say their investigation into who killed patton--- continues. we'll find out today wher presidential race. the results of the final marquette law school poll before the election will be released today. meanwhle -- yesterday was another busy day filled with campaign stops across wisconsin... fox 6's theo keith has more from republican presidential nominee donald trump's visit to eau

that the lives of more than one million civilians are in danger as the troops advance. happening now-- investigators are still trying to figure out just what happened when a school bus slammed into a commuter bus in baltimore. six people died in the wreck yesterday, and ten others were hurt. police say the 67-year-old school bus driver died, but the only other person on that bus died. officials hope an autopsy of the school bus driver and recording equipment recovered from one of the what caused the crash. we're learning new details on the trial for the cincinnati police officer charged with killing a man at a traffic stop... but first-- the trial for a former south carolina police officer -- charged with killing an unarmed motorist is expected to begin today. angelica joins us from the newsroom with the latest. michael slager is charged with killing 50-year-old walter scott in april 20-15. police say scott ran from a traffic stop in north charleston when he was shot. the shooting was captured on

firing at scott 8 times with his back to the officer. when the video went viral, city officials fired slager. the shooting sparked protests across the country, after two days of jury selection, a judge says the jury will be seated this morning and opening arguments could come later today. testimony is set to begin today in the trial for a former university of cincinnati police officer -- charged with killing a black man at a traffic stop. former officer ray tensing is accused of shooting sam dubose last july. yesterday, tensing's lawyer says dubose was using his vehicle as a weapon-- threatening the officer's life. he also said dubose had enough marijuana in his car to face a felony conviction. the prosecutor in the case said the shooting goes against police training. rob and jessob? forecast from fox6 chief meteorologist rob haswell
