for a suspect who shot a man walking into his home on milwaukee's northwest side. it happened just before 11 last night near 88th and capitol. police say a suspect fired multiple gunshots at a 34-year-old man. the victim was taken to the hospital by a friend. no word on his condition. police continue to investigate. a suspect in custody this morning after leading police on a high speed chase. officials say they spotted a car used by a suspect to flee an armed robbery near 10th and center. officers attempted to stop the car...but the driver took off. the car eventual cleveland -- and the suspect bailed out of the car. police were able to arrest the suspect after a short pursuit on foot. massive numbers of voters are headed to the polls early...to vote early ...in tuesday;s election. milwaukee beat its own early-voting record... set back in 2012. deandra corinthios is live downtown to break down the numbers. city officials estimate when all is said and done...it will be a 27 percent increase. the most recent update

thousand absentee votes cast. two thousand more than in 2012. that was wednesday! and votes are still coming in. city officials estimate that number is likely to reach close to 50- thousand. that translates to roughly one in five voters citywide. as long as you're registered-- saturday is the last day to vote early. if you're not-- you have to get it done election day. and new this year --there are three locations the zeidler building downtown, midtown center and the forest home library. milwaukee mayor tom barrett says the higher totals....are due to expanded voting hours -- and more places to early vote. ""people want to have that convenience, they don't want to wait in line on election day -- or they might have a schedule that requires them to vote early." early voting runs today from 830 am to 7 pm...and tomorrow if

employees were killed...and one is still recovering. police say an s-u-v was driving the wrong way on i-94 near deerfield and hit the accountants car... and one other vehicle. kim radtke -of milwaukee... clenton hall -of waterloo...and katey pasqualini -of milwaukee.... were all senior staff accountants at ritz-holman...and died in the crash.brian falk-- a supervisor at the firm-- received serious injuries and is undergoing emergency treatment. a spokeswoman says the victims were returning home from a recruiting and networking event at u-w la crosse for accounting students. even scene... this was a devastating accident. "we're humans too -- and when you see this kind of damage and carnage out there, it's very difficult to process. i know that my people out there that were working last night, they're professional. they're going to take care of this job." the driver of the s-u-v is listed in critical condition. the lone occupant of the other vehicle, a man from northbrook illinois, also died. officials say alcohol is believed to have played a role in the crash. the milwaukee police officer who

-- is scheduled to be arraigned on separate sexual assault charges today. the fire and police commission upheld police chief ed flynn's decision to fire dominique haeggan-brown last night. police say it's the result of an internal investigation of accusations made against dominique heaggan-brown. the officer had been on paid leave since the august shooting of sylville smith, who police say was armed and running from police before raising his gun toward officers. heaggan-brown was then arrested on sexual assault charges less than assaulted a man at his apartment after the two were drinking at a bar while watching coverage of the violent protests. his arraignment is set for 8-30 this morning. what was supposed to be a fun vacation in vegas-- turns into a hassle for travelers at one hotel. what happened when the lights went out at the paris hotel. a woman missing since august-- found in horrific conditions. where investigators found her and what we know about her suspected captor. tesla is back in the spotlight... the latest on yet another deadly crash involving one of its

up in a metal box is recovering this morning in south carolina. and a suspect is in custody in pennsylvania after shooting a walmart employee multiple times. nicole is in the newsroom with the latest. the suspect shot the employee inside the store in hermitage, pennsylvania -- which is about 70 miles north of pittsburgh. the victim's was taken t not known at this time. the building was evacuated. police say no one else was injured. the gunman was taken into custody in the store's parking lot. it's still unclear why the suspect opened fire on the employee. police are still investigating. and a chilling case out of south carolina after authorities find a woman tied in a metal container. 30-year-old kala brown... disappeared in anderson county along with her boyfriend back in august. todd kohlhepp... who is a registered sex offender has
