70 wind: sw 5-10 mph we're following breaking news this morning. former u-s attorney general janet reno has died. reno was the first woman to she was also one of the clinton administration's most recognizable and polarizing figures. reno's sister says she died from complications of parkinson's. she had battled the disease for 20 years. she died at her home in miami. janet reno was 78 years old. happening overnight... crews respond to a fire at an abandoned warehouse in downtown milwaukee. a call came in after midnight near 15th and saint paul. no one was hurt, but officials believe there is more than 100-thousand dollars in damage. the cause is

milwaukee police asking for the public's help in finding a hit and driver this morning. that driver struck and killed a little girl who was crossing the street with her mother. angelica joins us from the newsroom with new information. family members tell fox 6 news rikyia rick-eye-ya langham was walking to the car with her mother when a car sped down the street and hit the five-year-old. "she was excited about going to church and she was holding her mother's hand as they crossed the street to get in the car" it happened near leon and constance the driver of the car drove away from the scene. family members are asking that person to come forward. "we just wnat to make a plea to anyone who may know any information in regards to this. that you would please just make a phone call. just turn yourself in or make a phone call if you have any information" police have not released a vehicle description at this time. an autopsy is scheduled for later today.

to call police. we'll have much more on the investigation coming up in a live report at five here on wakeup. kim and jessob. back to you. the man accused in a crash that killed three women-- is expected in court today. 23-year-old jasen randhawa... faces 12 felony counts related to the crash last month.in the complaint, we learned data recovered from the lexus he was driving shows the car was going 63 miles per hour just before impact. three women from chicago were killed in the wreck and their ube d hurt. randhawa... was driving with a revoked license from a previous o-w-i conviction.his preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8-30 this morning. also today-- the milwaukee county board meets to discuss next year's budget. on the list of topics-- the proposed "wheel tax." county executive chris abele proposed a 60 dollar vehicle registration fee to cover budget items like road maintenance and repairs. the county supervisors have called for a 30 dollar fee instead. today's meeting is set for 8-30 this

is off the hook -- again -- for using a private email server. this comes as the clinton and trump teams are dashing around the country for votes -- including stops in wisconsin. political reporter theo keith has more on how both campaigns are reacting to the news. sunday, hillary clinton gets a boost from the latest campaign twist. nine days after fbi director james comey shook up the race by announcing that agents had found new emails... comey said sunday, "we have not chan expressed in july" when the fbi said clinton's use of a private server did not warrant criminal charges. donald trump questioned whether the f-b-i had done thoroughly investigated the new emails. you cant review 650,000 new emails in eight days. you cant do it folks clinton's running mate tim kaine made three sunday stops in wisconsin... hey guys, wow, you guys are great! kaine said he wasn't surprised by the fbi's latest decision. he says he's excited by a record number of early voters in the

feel like if we can succeed in wisconsin, the path for donald trump to become president is really difficult while kaine was protecting clinton's lead in wisconsin -- trump scrapped his planned rally in west allis. instead, he headed to two other states where he trails -- michigan and minnesota. critics questioned the moves. election day tuesday with a much cooler high in the middle 50s. monday: mostly sunny and warm. record: 71. chance showers late at night. high: 70 wind: sw 5-10 mph resident in the town of cushing oklahoma-- cleaning up this morning following a 5-point-oh magnitude earthquake. it happened around 7-45 last night. it was felt by people in several other states-- including texas, kansas an was "quite a bit of damage" in the town, and there are concerns the quake may have damaged key infrastructure. officials say a few minor injuries have been reported. a georgia police officer is dead, and one other hurt following an argument between neighbors. police say the officers responded to a call for a dispute when they came under fire. officials say sergeant patrick sondron died of his injuries. the second officer is in critical condition. the shooting suspect was taken to custody after he was shot. no

knife attack in new jersey-- now in police custody.. police say 26-year-old jeremy arrington was arrested late last night. he was wanted for questioning in the stabbing deaths of two children and a woman at a new jersey home.. three others were also stabbed... they are still in the hospital.. many of the victims were family members.. arrington has been on the run since early october after police say he sexually assaulted a woman.. he has not been charged in the stabbing. durst is set to appear in court today to face a murder charge. durst is accused of killing susan berman -- 16 years ago. investigators believe durst killed berman because she planned to talk to prosecutors about the disappearance of durst's first wife - who vanished back in 19-82. prosecutors have been trying to bring durst to los angeles since his arrest in march of last year. but first... he faced a federal weapons charge in new orleans. he pleaded guilty -- and is currently serving a seven year prison sentence. police say a second body has

the water street bridge over the milwaukee river will close to traffic today. crews are installing an upgrade to the bridges center lock system. the bridge should reopen in mid- december. breaking news out of philadelphia. where the transit strike is over after septa and union leaders reach a tentative contract. train and bus service will be phased back into service later today. nearly 5-thousand transit employees walked off the job this past tuesday in a dispute over pensions, health insurance and worker breaks. been shut down -- forcing thousands to find alternate ways to get to work and school. the deal ends a six day strike. and gets service back up and running in time for election day election day will be a paid holiday for thousands of workers across the u-s this year. general motors, thousands of workers across the u-s this year. general motors, ford motor company and patagonia are just some of the companies that make election day a paid holiday. ford sent an email to workers telling them: "every. vote. counts."

there's people who love their cats. and then there are people who - really - love their cats! an engineer from russia is so devoted to his feline friend he built the cat a toy house in the shape of a military tank. he says this will prevent his cat from scratching the furniture. he worked on the toy house for about two months. it weighs 110 pounds, and measures almost three feet tall and almost two and a half feet wide. it also features a moving barrel and tank tread. november is the month to talk turkey-- but it's an unusual conversation in one california town. people have been calling 9-1-1 saying they can't drive because roads are overrun with turkeys! as many as 100 turkeys have been seen roaming the streets.. and others at a cemetery. residents will soon get some relief.. the city county council just voted to allow some birds to be killed..
