former u-s attorney general janet reno has died. reno was the first woman to serve as u-s attorney general. she was also one of the clinton administration's most recognizable and polarizing figures. according to reno's goddaughter - she died from complications of parkinson's disease. she was 78 years old. some news from overnight. crews are investigating an abandoned warehouse fire this morning. the fire happening near 15th and st. paul after midnight. there were no injuries...and officials believe thee than 100-thousand dollars in damage. a desperate plea coming from the family of the five year old girl hit and killed on milwaukee's northwest side. they're begging anyone with information about the hit and run to come forward deandra corinthios is live near near the scene...at leon terrace and constance with the latest family members tell us 5-year-old rickyia langham was heading to the car with her mother sunday morning,

call between neighbors in byron on sunday. authorities say the suspect opened fire at both deputies when they arrived at the scene. police say sondron died from his injuries and smallwood is in critical condition. officials identified the suspect as raplh stanley elrod. investigators say elrod was upset about neighbors riding 4 wheelers in the area and confronted them with a weapon. authorities don't believe the officers were targeted... a utah officer is dead after being hit by a car sunday morning. officials say officers witnessed three peop complex and stealing a car from the parking lot. the suspects took off and a police chased them. 25-year-old cody brotherson was outside his squad -- trying to put down tire spikes when he was hit by the suspects' car. the suspects were later taken into custody. brotherson's body was carried from the scene in a procession. he's the first west valley city police officer in department history to die in the line of duty. police in new jersey have a
