tomo 180 in racine this afternoon, where volunteers are manning a phone bank for democrats. feingold told supporters that he will work to end trade agreements that send jobs overseas if hes elected. he says his opponent, ron johnson, backs big businesses. even though the race has tightened in recent weeks - only one point separates feingold and johnson in the polls - feingold says hes been in the lead since he entered the race. he said he hopes supporters think hes down in the p feingold says: "either you get a senator who is going to vote for middle and working families to do something about the minimum wage, family leave and pharmaceutical medicine or you have somebody whos going to keep voting with big corporations and out of state interests. its as simple as that." feingold left racine to head to oshkosh. hell be in the madison area on election night. reporting live in racine, bl, fox6 news.

hillary clinton and donald trump are hitting the trail at break neck speed and focused on key battlegrounds. clinton campaigning today in north carolina, michigan and pennsylvania. later tonight in philly -- she'll be joined by president obama, the first lady, and former president bill clinton. trump and his running mate, ?indiana governor mike pence, hitting five states today: north carolina, florida, pennsylvania, new hampshire... and they'll end the day in michigan. election will decide whether we are ruled by a corrupt political class -- you're seeing what's happening, everybody's watching -- or whether we are ruled by the people. we're going to be ruled by the people, folks." hillary clinton says: "tomorrow is the election, but that is just the beginning. we have to heal this country. we have to bring people together, listen and respect each other."

nationwide. the numbers are in -- a record number of people voted early in the state of wisconsin. new numbers from the state elections commission say near 797-thousand returned absentee ballots to municipal clerks for this election. that shatters the old record of 664- thousand -- set in in 2012. workers with both the wisconsin -- and federal department of justice will be on hand to watc tomorrow. we've learned -- milwaukee county is the only wisconsin municipality on the list of 67 jurisdictions that's going to be monitored by d-o-j civil rights division workers. that follows a request from democratic lawmakers. local elections officials predict a busy day at polling sites. madeline anderson joins us live in oak creek to explain what municipalities are doing to ensure things run as smoothly as possible. when polls open at 7-a-m tomorrow... parkway church will

county where residents can cast their ballots. the signs have been placed... the ballot boxes wheeled out and the voting booths assembled. oak creek election inspectors spent monday preparing each of the six polling sites for election day. meanwhile poll workers at city hall assigned numbers to the 66-hundred absentee ballots already returned... prepping them for tuesday when they'll be opened anf voting machines. "because weve already voted over 30 percent--31 percent--here in oak creek, we should be able to get the voters through pretty quickly. with turnout expected to be high... it's the registration lines... city clerk catherine roeske says that could be slow-moving. so the more prepared voters are with that information, the smoother and quicker that will go.at the county level... elections commisson julietta henry was on hand to to provide extra supplies to municipalities and answer questions from the public. the real work for her staff starts

milwaukee earlier, touring garden homes lutheran school to promote school choice. johnson trailed russ feingold by double digits earlier this year but has climbed back into this race... largely without the help of national republicans. now outside money is pouring in to attack feingold. johnson, too, is racheting up the on the campaign trail, calling him a 'complete phony.' heres what johnson had to say just a short time ago. johnson says: " in his 34 year political career, he has nothing good to show for it. so he resorts to lies, distortions."

we will bring you expert analysis, results and reaction on november 8th. milwaukee police are investigating -- after a 50-year-old woman is hit and killed while crossing the street. it happened near 60th and norwich ... on the city's southwest side. we're told the woman was hit in a crosswalk. police say the striking vehicle did stay on scene. the search continues for a driver that hit and killed a 5-year-old girl in milwaukee. tonight -- we're gett at the vehicle police believe is responsible. justin williams has the story. a grieving family, and milwaukee police, ask you to take a good look at this porsche cayenne which, according to investigators, is the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash, sunday, near 65th and hampton, which kills five-year-old rickyia langham. she was very cheerful ... very, just, dynamic. very amazing. monday, rickyias mother, richele yarborough, tells me,
