winning tomorrow.' feingold left racine to head to oshkosh. hell be in the madison area on election night. reporting live in racine, bl, fox6 news. wisconsin election officials say nearly 800-thousand people have already cast ballots in this election -- shattering the record set in 2012... the elections commission projects about 3-point-1-million people in wisconsin will vote in this election. that's just shy of 70-percent of the in-person early voting in most areas across the state ended over the weekend .. mail-in absentee ballots must be returned to clerks offices by the 8 p.m. tomorrow. in the home stretch. volunteers for both major parties put in some late nights working the phones. our a.j. bayatpour checked in with local republican and democratic campaign offices. he joins us live with their stories... were at the north shore republican office where dozens

doing the same thing a few miles down the freeway at the democratic office in milwaukee. the countdown to when polls open... is no longer measured in days... but in hours. voter turnout- thats gonna be everything. david rynerson says at this late stage, he knows almost all voters are decided. we have two very well-known candidates in the presidential election, of course. now, its a matter of identifying those likely to vote their way...and making people dont vote and we need to get people out to vote and a lot of that comes from interpersonal relations. we want to tell them how much their vote matters. peter mehler and his fellow milwaukee county democrats also work the phones, knowing its all about turnout. we wanna get people who are sitting on the fence about whether to vote or not to vote, whether their vote matters or doesnt matter, we want to get them out.

we're told the 50-year-old was in the cross-walk just when she was hit. the driver remained on scene. the man charged in connection to a triple fatal crash last month pleads not guilty. jasen randhawa is accused of killing three women from illinois and injuring their uber driver in a crash near 2nd and clybourn. randhawa initially left the scene - but turned himself in a day later. court documents say he was speeding and alcohol was involved. the case will now go to trial. of the city's drinking water? then we have good news. a new program kicks off later this month... designed to help alleviate concerns fox 6s derica williams tells us how a new water filter ?distribution plan will be rolled out to residents. it's coming out of your sink...and could make you sick. we have to address lead hazards from all points health commissioner bevan baker says the city of milwaukee is helping residents with lead service lines starting with the most vulnerable.

booths assembled. oak creek election inspectors spent monday preparing each of the six polling sites for election day. meanwhile poll workers at city hall assigned numbers to the 66-hundred absentee ballots already returned... prepping them for tuesday when they'll be opened and fed through the machine. "because weve already voted over 30 percent--31 percent--here in oak creek, we should be able to get the voters through pretty quickly. its the registration lines that tend to get long and kind of slow down the process. so the more prepare information, the smoother and quicker that will go." i anticipate high voter turnout, so i encourage everyone to head to the polls as early as possible.at the county level... director of elections julietta henry was on hand to provide extra supplies to municipalities and answer questions from the public.

$1 on november 8th. and remember -- fox6 is the station to watch on election night. we will bring you expert analysis-- results-- and reaction throughout the night on november 8th -- on air and online! new information tonight on dogs missing in outagamie county. the sheriff's department has now begun an investigation into a strangely large number of dog missing. the fox valley humane association initially had concerns of foul- play when 7 dogs were reported all the dogs were large, adult dogs... either huskies, labs, or mixed breeds. and because all the owners reported physical evidence such as a cut or broken collar... the humane association thinks the dogs were stolen. when a dog runs away or is found missing, generally 99% of the time, we have sightings of the animal, around where they have been lost. there have been absolutely no sightings at all in any of these seven cases,

so far one dog has returned to an owner.. but few details are being released. anyone with information is asked to call the outagamie county sheriff's department. the body of a green bay man was pulled from the waters of lake michigan this morning. police say 43-year-old robbert umentum ooh-men'-tum the third was found in the kewaunee harbor.crews had been searching for him since 3 a.m. when someone who lives in the area call report someone yelling for help along the shoreline. police believe umentum was fishing and fell into the water. fishing tackle and personal items were seen floating in the water . new at 9:00 a pilot rescued after his plane goes down sunday in waupaca county... the pilot was a new flyer... with less than fifty flying hours under his belt. a family that lives near the crash site rushed to help... "they came running over here when they got here the plane
