tensing... a former university of cincinnati officer... was accused of killing an unarmed black driver... sam dubose... during a traffic stop last year. but prosecutors say the jurors couldn't agree whether to convict tensing of murder or voluntary manslaughter. the lead prosecutor says he will decide by november 28-th whether to retry the case. at least four people are injured in what police call a "flash mob" attack in philadelphia. police say started attacking people for no apparent reason last night. the victims include an off-duty police detective... whose eye socket was fractured while he tried to intervene. the teenagers took off after the attacks. but police later arrested two 16- year-old suspects, who now face assault charges. investigators are also looking for surveillance video that may help them catch other suspects. coming up - two wisconsin natives... now being inducted into a national hall of fame. what they're being recognized for. plus:

across the country... thousands of people continue to take to the streets... protesting a donald trump presidency. kim's in studio with the very latest. from coast to coast... protesters marched... with dozens of arrests throughout different cities. in vegas... seven people were arrested this weekend at a demonstration outside the trump hotel on the strip. meanwhile in portland... police arrested at least 71 people... after a peaceful march escalated. they sa obey orders to get off the streets saturday night... and demonstrators in masks were throwing bottles and road flares at police. several of those arrested were just 18 years old. it got so heated at one point... a news photographer was attacked... despite having security with him. in chicago... hundreds of people... including families with small children... chanted "no hate - no fear - immigrants are welcome here" as they marched through millenium park. yesterday... house speaker paul ryan condemned hate crimes targeting minority groups that have been reported since the

with more. reince priebus was actually a partner at the law firm michael best and friedrich here in milwaukee...before eventually serving as the chairman of the r-n-c. priebus is a kenosha native. after president-elect donald trump won on tuesday, he wasted no time thanking g-o-p chairman reince priebus. the president elect said priebus is quote " really a star" and "the hardest working guy" priebus was raised in kenosha and went to tremper high school. he went on to u-w whitewater where politics. he was president of the college republicans at whitewater. he actually ran for state senate in 2004 and lost... but he was elected chairman of the wisconsin republican party a few years later. then in 2011 he became chairman of the republican national committee. wisconsin republicans say the president-elect made a smart move. this may be the most difficult position of any in the federal government. you want somebody that you feel comfortable with, somebody you have

pouring out of this garage near college and pennsylvania. residents who live next door say they heard a loud boom and walked outside to see flames. fire officials tell us someone was using a grill as a fire pit and there was gasoline nearby. one person was taken to the hospital with burns to their hand. and in brown deer-- an elderly driver crashes into the "family table" restaurant. police say he hit the accelerator instead of his brakes. there were people inside at the time-- but luckily no one was hurt. second time a driver has smashed into their building in the last 3 months. happening now - the milwaukee mercy choir is traveling to rome... so they can sing for a very special audience: the pope. the choir --which has 53 members representing 14 churches and parishes from across southeastern wisconsin -- will appear alongside the sistine chapel choir, singing for the papal mass to close the year of mercy. it's an impressive and reflective journey that lies ahead.

for at least two months. in california... a deputy is fatally shot at point-blank range... after checking on a report of a stolen van parked near a fishing access spot. stanislaus county sheriff's deputy dennis wallace was alone when he found the van yesterday morning. he asked for backup - but by the time another deputy arrived... wallace had been shot twice in the head... execution style. authorities say the suspect... david machado... sped off and carjacked a kia nearby... and was arrested hours woman's purse at a convenience store. and a wildfire burning in western north carolina continues growing. the fire now encompasses nearly three thousand acres. the flames ignited nearly a week ago near lake lure and chimney rock. the fire has prompted an unknown number of evacuations in more than a dozen communities. residents are now being urged to wear special masks in some areas. fire crews are worried-- saying it's behaving more like a california wildfire. to the west of lake lure... more

a powerful earthquake strikes new zealand's south island -- killing at least two people and causing severe damage to buildings and homes. the 7-point-8 magnitude quake hit early yesterday morning in a rural area close to the city of christchurch. a number of strong aftershocks were felt more than a 120 miles away and a tsunami was reported about two hours later. officials are warning people along the coast to move to higher ground to avoid tsunami waves. it may be getting chillier outside... but you're going to want to get a clear view is lighting up the night sky for the first time since 1948. the moon looks bigger and brighter through this phenomenon... which happens when the moon becomes full on the same day when its orbit is closest to earth. supermoons come around once every 13-months... but this one in particular will look bigger than at any point in the past 68 years. the moon is expected to reach its full peak at 7:52 a-m on the
