released from prison no later than tomorrow.. unless an emergency appeal filed by the state can keep him locked up. and now all eyes are on where dassey is being held. this is a live look at the columbia correctional facility. kim joins us now with the latest. in the rape and murder or teresa halbach was tossed out in august -- the state has appealed that ruling. the state filed an emergency appeal to keep him behind bars in a higher court. prosecuters argue dassey should stay in prison until his case is resolved in court...and the lower court did not have the authority to order dassey's release and by doing so would cause irreparable harm to the case. dassey's attorney argues the state has not made a case to keep him locked up. dassey's half brother believes

the cricket wireless store near highway 100 and cleveland wednesday evening. the shooting happened before 8 pm police from several departments...includi ng greenfield, new berlin and wauwatosa police as well as the milwaukee county sheriff's office....were assisting west allis in the search for the suspect. but so far no arrests. neighbors say it's not a bad area...and they're shocked by the news. "you know i think that everybody needs to be safe because we're coming into the holidays. i think it's important to be on your toes and have your head on a swivel." and we are hoping from an update from police. at this point no description of the suspect is available. reporting live in west allis dc fox6 news police continue to search for a homicide suspect who shot and killed an 18 year old yesterday afternoon. it happened yesterday afternoon near 68th and congress. police say it started with an argument...and the victim died at the scene. the suspect took off...and police have not made any arrests. vulgar-- offensive and tasteless--- thats what m-p-s officials are calling

magazine. it mentions pregnancy and abortion -- while calling attention to students at bradley tech high school. angelcia is here with more details. the owner of sabbatic bar in walker's point tells fox6 the ad was designed to get the attention of m-p-s administrators. and it worked. it reads 'sabbatic is for lovers' and in bold print: 'our back alley: where 50- percent of bradley tech pregnancies start and end'. the man behind the ad says his bar has been a victim of many crimes and he believes the crooks are bradley te students. milwaukee police haven't been able to find a link between the school and the crime. still-- the owner says says m-p-s hasn't done enough to address the problem. 'these are words and i am not going to sit here and defend the first amendment. it was rude it was crass...' in a statement mps acknowledges the right to freedom of speech but they see the ad as vulgar and tasteless saying quote-- "we have a responsibility to speak out and stand up when false statements are made about our students. we will not stand by when they are

though a judge has ordered he be released. this is a live look outside the columbia correctional institution in portage-- media from around the state are on prison watch. the state of wisconsin has made a last ditch effort to keep brendan dassey in prison. angelica joins us from the newsroom with the latest. the state has filed an emergency appeal with a higher court-- the 7th circuit of appeals in chicago-- arguing he should stay in prison until his case is resolved in court. dassey's conviction for his role in the rape and murder or teresa halbach was tossed in appealed. state prosecutors argue the lower court did not have the authority to order dassey's release and by doing so would cause irreparably harm to the case. dassey's attorney argue the state has not made a case to keep him locked up. his family hopes he'll be out by friday. it's one step closer, and one step back. the state is got their do their thing and they

berlin and wauwatosa police as well as the milwaukee county sheriff's office. those who live nearby hope the person is arrested soon. 07:40 i saw some papers on ground, knocked over stool and one of the tent things with a number three so i thought it might be a shooting. again the customer who was shot...is expected to be okay. we're not sure if he or she has been released from the hospital at this point. police have not released any details about the suspect. reporti news three men -- accused of impersonating milwaukee police officers and holding another man at gunpoint-- are due in court today. police say zedric byrd.... justin figgs... and brandon streff.... went to a home near 67-th and carmen and told the residents they were m-p-d officers serving a search warrant. investigator say the three targeted the man who lives in this house because he allegedly shorted them on a drug transaction. the alleged drug dealer they were after... is also in custody... their preliminary hearings are each

faces multiple felonies-- accused of making and selling drugs. according to court documents - authorities caught on to 18-year-old jason makofski after he sold marijuana to a confidential informant. police got a search warrant and found marijuana, l-s-d and cocaine inside his home. that's on top of two different synthetic drugs. they say they also found quite a bit of drug paraphernalia. meanwhile in beaver dam-- the sheriff says they made a bust so big it will have a ripple effect across 27-year-old lucretia lightfoot faces 16 counts related to creating and delivering heroin and cocaine. she's accused of running a large- scale operation, with multiple, lower-level distributors. a man is facing battery charges for allegedly attacking his pregnant girlfriend. police say the victim asked hector acevedo to leave her home. the criminal complaint didn't explain how acevedo got the bruises you can see here in his mugshot. but it did say acevedo got upset with his girlfriend and pulled her off the couch, then kicked her in the head and stomach. he's also accused of knocking

from the riverside theater had to be taken down off e-bay --- because of overwhelming demand. officials say the auction raised more than 10-thousand dollars in less than 12 hours! however -- so many people were trying to bid....that many people were not able to participate. so now -- the remaining sets of chairs are being sold for 400- dollars. they date back to 1927.
