traffic map = major delays yellow on traffic map = some delays green on traffic map = no delays breaking news. four police officers shot in texas, missouri and florida.... and one of the officers has died. in missouri alone -- two officers shot in the line of duty. nicole in the newsroom with the latest. let's start in st. louis. an officer was shot twice in the face and is critical conditi the officer was sitting in his car with the windows rolled up when a vehicle pulled up and then suspect opened fire. bullets broke through the glass and struck the officer. the suspect then led police on a manhunt. hours later, authorities shot and killed the gunman after he opened fire on officers. no other officers were injured in that shootout. and then in gladstone, missouri -- another officer shot during a traffic stop. the suspect was also shot and has reportedly died from his injuries. the officer is expected to survive. no other

meanwhile -- in san antonio, texas -- police searching for a gunman who shot and killed an officer during a traffic stop. officials are calling it a targeted attack 50-year-old detective benjamin marconi had just returned to his vehicle to write a ticket for a driver he pulled over...when another driver pulled up behind him, got out, and approached the detectives window. the assailant then shot marconi in the head, reached through the window and shot a second time. and in sanibel, florida another offic being shot. officials say the suspect drove by and shot the officer while he was conducting a traffic stop. the suspect is in custody after a shootout with police. a man accused of sexually assaulting a teen at gunpoint will be sentenced today. jermarro jer-mar-oh dantzler ran a group home for troubled on milwaukee's northwest side deandra corinthios is live from the milwaukee county courthouse with the details. jermarro dantzler was charged with first degree sexual assault of a child...he was also charged with perjury and bail jumping. dantzler will be sentenced this

prosecutors say dantzler tried to get others to testify with a false alibi...that would take him away from the scene where the 15 year old boy was raped in july of 2015. for about six years dantzler ran a group home for troubled boys called "rights of passage" on milwaukee's northwest side. according to the criminal complaint, the victim told police he was walking in his neighborhood near 66th and brown deer road when dantzler approached him with a gun. grabbed the victim and assaulted him behind some bushes. the case went cold...until the victim said he received a facebook invitation from a person who looked like his attacker... d-n-a tests linked dantzler to the crime. wisconsins department of children and families removed the teenage residents after dantzler's arrest for the alleged sexual assault of the 15-year-old. he was appealing a state decision to revoke his license when the sexual assault allegation surfaced.' reporting live in milwaukee deandra

one person is dead and 6 others hurt after a late night crash over the weekend. police say an 18-year-old female driver was trying to avoid arrest...when she swerved into southbound traffic near 27th and capitol -- hitting another vehicle...and then crashing into a concrete light pole. a passenger in her car died on the scene. the driver and two others in her car suffered serious injuries. the occupants of the other vehicle were take to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. police continue to investigate. -- after coming home to yet another loss on the road. they lost last night to the redskins 42 to 24. our tim van vooren now with a look at what

you decide coverage now. president-elect donald trump continues to meet with possible cabinet members. this as one of his picks has a scheduled event in wisconsin today. nicole is in the newsroom with the latest. president-elect donald trumps white house transition effort is starting to look like a 2016 g-o-p presidential primary reunion. he's expected to meet with with former rival rick perry today. yester jersey governor chris christie. he was just one of the many to visit mr. trump at a private golf club in bedminster, new jersey. another big name to meet with the president-elect was former g-o-p president nominee mitt romney. meanwhile -- mike flynn, the president-elect's pick for national security advisor, is scheduled to speak at ripon college today. the visit was scheduled months ago. flynn is a retired army lieutenant general and former director of the defense intelligence agency. he is expected to speak at 4:30 this

chicago police arrest two teenagers for the fatal shooting of congressman danny davis' grandson. police say 15-year-old javon wilson was shot in his home in englewood friday night. the two allegedly broke in...and then shot wilson after an argument over basketball shoes. both teens could face first degree murder charges. after attacking police officers. the suspect - 21-year-old erickson gomez brito - was shot in the afternoon...when officers were responding to a call reporting a suspicious man in the hallway of a housing unit. it's the same building where the suspect's family lives. according to authorities...the officer removed his baton, but the suspect grabbed it and began assaulting them. that's when both officers shot brito several times. he was pronounced dead at the scene. both officers were taken to the hospital in stable condition... and the suspect's family says

police department. protesters and police face off in at the site of the dakota access pipeline in north dakota. hundreds of demonstrators tried to cross a bridge...and police tried to block them. authorities used water cannons and what appeared to be tear gas to push the large group back. police say protesters set fire to two trucks and several parts of the bridge. at least one person was arrested. the 1,200-mile, four-state pipeline is being built to carry oil from western north dakota to a illinois. the standing rock sioux and environmentalists have been protesting the construction has been for months. the sioux's reservation lies near the pipeline route, and the tribe's allies fear a leak could contaminate their drinking water. they also worry that construction could threaten sacred sites. the u-s coast guard -- coming to the rescue -- in massachusetts over the weekend .. a crew of six was rescued from a sinking boat -- five miles off the coast of new bedford yesterday. a rescue crew from a nearby coast guard station and a helicopter

check your fridge this morning. a hummus recall is underway. sabra dipping company has issued a voluntarily recall of some of its hummus and spreads because of possible listeria contamination. the f-d-a says the affected products were manufactured before november 8 at a plant where listeria have been found. consumers are "best before" date through january 23, 2017 on the lid. apple is rolling out a repair program to fix i-phone 6 plus devices with unresponsive touch screen features. owners who have had issues over the past few months have dubbed it "touch disease." apple says some i-phone 6 plus phones may "exhibit display flickering or multi- touch issues after being dropped multiple times." the company is willing to repair affected
