36-year-old man was walking near pierce and center when he was shot in the back. he is expected to recover. no arrests have been made. police-- responding to several crashes overnight... angelica joins us from the newsroom with the latest. police say a squad car was involved in an early morning crash. this is near 27th and fond du lac-- it happened around 2 this morning. police say at this time, the crash appears to be minor. no word on the extent of injuries or what caused the crash. police also responding to a it happened around midnight, and shut down that part of the highway for about an hour. officials aren't saying much about this crash right now. we'll be sure to update you as we learn more. and police are investigating a nasty crash near 76th and layton. police say a vehicle fled after a traffic stop in hales corners. the driver then ran a red light and crashed into a car in oncoming traffic. the fleeing vehicle then caught on fire. you can see how severe

police say three people were injured including the fleeing driver, and two people in the car that was struck. kim and jessob. back to you. we're learning more about the victims of a devastating crash near 27th and capitol. 19-year-old shawn oliver was killed saturday-- his cousin is fighting for his life. police say they were passengers in a car that tried to flee from police. they tried to stop an 18-year-old woman because of a problem with her license plates. but she took off-- crashing into "i want justice she hurt a lot of lives and it wasnt just shawn it was his friend mario who is fighting for his life " relatives tell us mario harrell broke his legs and his hips. he also suffered brain injury. charges will likely be filed against the driver in the coming days. called a "substantial flight risk"... the man accused of firing at a milwaukee police officer has bail set at 100 - thousand

jefferson winced when hearing the amount in court yesterday.last week, police were called to 26th and atkinson for reports of a burglary spree in the neighborhood. police say jefferson was seen peeking into homes and was asked to place his hands in the air. police say he fired once at the officer using a stolen gun and ran. jefferson told police the gun simply discharged in its own when he moved. jefferson missed court dates for unrelated charges in april and was wanted in waukesha county. death of former 3 doors down guitarist matthew roberts. fox 6 has learned a physician from alabama has been federally charged in connection to the death. roberts died at the west bend hampton inn back in august while visiting from alabama. west bend police worked with officials in alabama. they found doctor richard snellgrove prescribed the drugs roberts overdosed on. right now -- police are searching for 16-year-old kendall humphries of lake

november first. earlier this week, lake mills p-d upgraded the case to 'missing and endangered.' police declined to get into specifics... but they say they cant be certain humphries is with people she knows. its believed shes traveling between dane and jefferson counties. humphries is five feet, four inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. she has brown hair and blue eyes, with a scar on the left side of her upper lip. it was supposed to be an easy sale... but when a milwaukee man went to close the deal on his car, he became the victim of a mechanic patrick berry met up with 20-year-old kumasi wallace at 76th and oklahoma. wallace responded to a craigslist ad and when he asked to look under the hood, police say wallace took off in berry's car. berry was on his way to the police station when he got a call from an uber driver, who thought they had the suspect. investigators say wallace had given the driver berry's number, but made a mistake giving the driver his actual name. police were able to locate

and what was in their cabin - was the killer. myra sanchick has the warning from the dodge county sheriff. there is plenty of good hunting land and farmland in the reeseville area. it's a popular location for locals to hunt. the dodge county sheriff says a father and son were in the area hunting but did not return to milwaukee after the weekend. monday night deputies went to their cabin. they broke the windows to get in after spotting a man lying on the floor. when they got away. the 46 year old milwaukee man was dead. his 69 year old father ill and rushed to a hospital. the sheriff says there were no signs of foul play. and they are investigating the possibility of carbon monoxide poisoning. there was a furnace there. the furnace may have been malfunctioning.carbon monoxide most know is an odorless tasteless gas that you really don't notice the effects until it's too late. it seems to fit the circumstances with another week of hunting ahead, the sheriff says there
