their thanksgiving feast today...many also already planning ahead for black friday shopping. some stores opening as early as this evening. here's a list of just a few stores opening their doors to shoppers tonight. j-c-penney opening as early as 3 this afternoon....toys r us and best buy open at 5. then target and walmart will open at 6. and for a full guide to black friday -- just head to fox 6 now dot com...or the fox 6 news app...we've got a list of all the stores that are open and closed today. plus a deals you can score and when! while stores will be busy this weekend...you will also see more police on the roads. last night - 35 departments in milwaukee and waukesha counties held a roll call -- ramping up efforts to crack down on drunk drivers. police will be out in force this weekend -- stopping and arresting impaired drivers. "we're making sure they're sober. and if they're not we're

everything is pretty much in order whether they get citations or warnings its just to get the word out that we're not going to put up with drunk driving any longer." the task force arrested 300 people for impaired driving over the course of last year. they remind drivers to use services like uber, lyft, or to catch a cab. getting ready for a recount. the state of wisconsin - preparing for second look at novembers numbers. votes cast in the presidential election are being called into question by an unlikely source. nicole joins us now with more. commission in madison says they are trying to get in touch with city clerks throughout the state to let them know a recount of the presidential race is very likely. someone on the ballot needs to initiate a recount... and that person will likely be former green party presidential candidate jill stein. the green party has been vocal about starting recounts in three states... after what they believe are anomalies in some municipalities results. they believe this could result in enough votes to put democrat hillary clinton ahead of president-elect

interest in initiating a recount... which is why the green party has stepped in. we're told the green party would be responsible for paying for this recount in wisconsin. the group just launched a website ... hoping to raise roughly 2-million dollars. an update on a crash we told you about on wakeup yesterday. greenfield police have released dashcam footage of the incident. it happened at 76th and layton. hales corners police say they were trying to stop a speeding car that ran a red light. that car crashed into another with two peopl retaining wall in front of "robert haack jewelry" before bursting into flames. miraculously no one was hurt-- thanks to the quick response from rescue crews. our officers arrived on the scene and assisted hales corners in first of all getting everyone out of the vehicles. the suspect himself was already in custody by hales corners police say they'll turn over their reports to the district attorney soon. as for the damaged store-- it will be open for black friday. coming up on wakeup - the

finally get a bit of sun to return for the first half of the weekend. another low arrives for later sunday and sticks around into early next week with more cold rain likely. today: overcast. slight chance of a late pm sunny break. high: 42 wind: nw-w 5-10 mph new developments in steven avery's case. and an older couple is found dead inside their new berlin home. nicole is in the newsroom with the latest. the two victims were both found with a single gunshot wound. a 911 call led to the discovery of the couple early yesterday morning. arrived. the woman was transported to a hospital where she later died. police are not confirming if it was a murder-suicide. no one is in custody and they are not looking for any suspects. and steven avery's attorney kathleen zellner tweeted out yesterday that a judge has given the go ahead for more testing in the murder of teresa halbach. avery has long-since claimed that manitowoc county officials framed him for her death . the case was chronicled in the

a special prosecutor is representing the state. the city of milwaukee-- on the hook for almost 2-million dollars. it's the verdict in another federal lawsuit involving an illegal body cavity search. a federal jury rewarded willie newman 1-point-9 million dollars after he said he was the victim of an illegal strip search that happened in 2010. according to a federal complaint, newman was approached by then milwaukee police officer michael vagnini and others. he says vagnini pointed a gun at him and strip searched him in the parking four milwaukee police officers were fired and charged as a result of illegal strip searches. in 2013, vagnini was convicted of felony charges. last year, the city reached a 5 million- dollar settlement with 74 men. coming up - consumers getting burned? the study that claims several products that don't contain aloe vera when they say they do. and after the break - we're hours away from the macy's thanksgiving day parade. the new balloons added

ruled walmart failed to pay hundreds of truck drivers in california the minimum wage. the jury awarded the truckers 54- million dollars in damages in a verdict..that accused the retail giant of failing to properly pay the drivers for activities that included inspecting and washing their trucks and for layovers.. walmart argued that drivers are paid for activities that include those tasks and are not working during

a new study about aloe vera gels may have some feeling burned.
