when begin tonight with a tragic crash in racine county. a father and daughter are dead after being hit and killed by a drunk driver. another little girl survived the crash. and this isn't the first time this driver has been caught driving under the influence. fox 6's ashley sears is live in the newsroom with the latest. it is heartbreakin and old farm road around a 4:45 tonight. investigators say two vehicles were traveling east on 4 mile road. a sedan with a father and his two daughters stopped to turn onto old farm road and was rear ended by a truck going very fast. police say the driver of the truck was intoxicated. first responders rushed to the scene. sadly, the 39-year-old father and his

and called it in to dispatch. when our officers got there, they tried to render aid to the little girl and the father. sadly, the little girl was already deceased on the scene. a 6-year-old in the car survived with what police say are minor injuries. the driver was arrested for two counts of intoxicated use of a motor vehicle. we are told this is his second drunk driving offense. live in the newsroom, ashley sears fox 6 news. get ready for a recount! wisconsin election officials are scrambling statewide, after a presidential contender demands each and every vote in the state be re- checked. and it's coming from an unlikely source! the green party. our ben handelman joins us in studio now and ben with three million votes to count -- there's not a lot of time to do it. just two and a half weeks. this has never happened before in

presidential election. dr. jill stein says she has the money to front the bill, has filed the paperwork, and now officials are rushing to prepare for a historical recount. you voted--- they counted. and now, state election officials will count again. an historic recount will take place in wisconsin, all thanks to an unlikely source. green party candidate dr. jill she files the needed paperwork friday. we are not doing this for the benefit of one candidate over the other. were doing this for the benefit of the american public. green party leaders say they have concerns after independent exit polling did not match up with results. that sum of variation could be expected to occur once in every 850 presidential elections. thats what raises the question. we need to take a look at this. election officials are now scrambling. votes must be recounted statewide by december 13th. we are trying to finalize sort of a timetable for the recount process, for starting the

campaign, stein's supporters have raised more than 5 million dollars and counting to foot the bills. there are plans for recounts in michigan and pennsylvania as well. it's not stein but democrat hillary clinton who could benefit. in wisconsin, clinton trails president- elect donald by just over 22,000 votes. director charles franklin says historically recounts do change tallies, but not results. , they have produced very modest shifts. a few votes there and there rather than large shifts. in 2011, a statewide recount of a supreme court race with roughly 1- point-5 million votes shifted the races about 300 votes. never-the-less franklin says if a group has concerns and the money, it may be healthy to reaffirm our faith in our system. in a close

concerned about the outcome, and want to be reassured that the outcome is the way it seems. republicans are bashing this, calling it "absurd and nothing more than an expensive political stunt." this recount will not be easy. in 2011 it took about a month to count about half the amount of votes cast on election day. state election officials have called for a press c monday, with the counting to begin next week. guys. could ?milwaukee county sheriff david clarke be up for a ?position with president-elect donald trump's administration? conservative website-- breitbart news -- says sheriff clarke, who has been a vocal supporter of mister trump, will meet with him monday. the article says officials would not confirm whether mister trump is offering clarke a position. we reached out to sheriff clarke's office for comment. we were

have anything to say. k-t mcfarland will join president-elect donald trump's administration. mister trump's pick for national security adviser, retired lieutenent general michael flynn, tweeted today "so proud and honored to have k-t mcfarland as part of our national security team." mcfarland is a national security analyst, but flynn did not say which specific position she would have in the trump administration. the president elect also announced don serve as assistant to the president and white house counsel. mcgahn served as general counsel for the president elect's campaign -- and as general counsel for the national republican congressional committee. autopsies results for an elderly man and woman from new berlin are underway. both were found with single gunshot wounds earlier this week after police received a bizarre 9-1-1 call. fox6's angelica sanchez spoke with neighbors in the hickory trail neighborhood who are eager to know what happened wednesday

think that could happen. deb svehlek has lived in the tucked away neighborhood of hickory trail for more than 20-years. she now has more questions than answers surrounding the mysterious death of her elderly neighbors a day before thanksgiving. "i think we're still in disbelief i think. we still don't think it happened. it's hard to take in." the investigation into the double shooting started with an odd 911 call the phone did not identify himself but insinuated help was needed. when police arrived the front door to this house was open. a smell of burnt gun powder was in the air. they found a 76-year-old man with a single gunshot wound. he was pronounced dead at the scene. they also found a 71-year-old woman with a single gun shot wound. she lived long enough to be taken to a local hospital where she later died.

" a very happy person. i mean she loved her dogs i think her dogs were her life she says she will always remember the 71-year-old's generosity. 'they do everything wednesday, thursday night. so friday morning is kind of iffy, you have to really look.' this week ... wow ... carries quite the wow factor. wow! friday, she stands outside her home, just across the street from sheboygans cargill facility, where two, alleged crimes, in three days, are cause for some concern, amongst her neighbors. thats not a place for anybody, if you dont know whats goin on. whats goin on, according to sheboygan police, culminates wednesday night, around 9-30, when alarm at cargill malt, arriving to spot a suspect as he runs from a warehouse--before he disappears, behind a building. theres a lotta places to hide, but its pretty dangerous. after searching the facility, for several hours, police find a 13-year-old boy who, they claim, did some damage while on the property, but, not, nearly, as much as he, and two, other 13 year old boys, allegedly, did, sunday night. its out of the ordinary, by

damaged numerous doors, windows, vehicles and products in a warehouse during the overnight hours. employees, arriving for work, around 5 o-clock, monday morning, discovered the destruction. thats a lot. maybe they wanted to make their own beer ... sheboygan police say, while they do not have a damage estimate for wednesday night's alleged crimes, sunday's damage estimate could be in the 10s of thousands of dollars. we'll be certain to keep tabs, and provide any new developments, as they becomes available to us. for now, this is the latest, in sheboygan. i'm justin williams, fox 6 news. officer at the waupun correctional institution was taken to a hospital after being attacked yesterday by an inmate. the dodge county sheriff's office says it happened around 7 p-m -- but details of the incident are still unclear. officials say the injured officer was transported to a hospital -- their current condition is unknown. milwaukee police are looking for two suspects who tried to rob a walgreens store. it happened this morning at the 27th and national location. two suspects entered the store --

police tell us they didn't get any money from the register... but it's not clear whether any customers were targeted. in new jersey.... one person is dead after a shooting outside a mall in south jersey. it happened early this morning at hamilton mall near macy's department store. the mall was scheduled to open at 6-a-m for black friday shoppers. police have not yet announced any arrests. meanwhile -- nevada police looking for a shooter involved in a deadly road rage incident near a walmart. this was in parking spot led to the fatal shots being fired. the suspect fled the scene after the shooting...and police continue to search for him. the walmart near where the shooting happened remained open for black friday shoppers. activists took over a busy chicago shopping district on this black friday. people took to the streets on the city's magnificent mile to protest the rise in homicides and the city's handling of police shootings. among the marchers were local activists... members of the chicago teachers union... black lives

this was the second consecutive year of demonstrations in the shopping district. last year black friday sales on the magnificent mile were 25 to 50- percent below projections. its a black friday tradition that has 'milwaukee' written all over it... hundreds of people...in line for a special...one day only...black friday beer. deandra corinthios was at lakefront brewery for all the excitement. right after thanksgiving dinner...a line forms outside lakefront breer arrived at 9 pm. the doors don't open until 8 am! "we all have something in common its about beer and we share beer and we just talk about beer and it is just a great time" the line stretches all the way around the brewery...into an adjacent parking lot...and wraps back around to commerce street. they're thirsty for a limited edition imperial stout aged 10 months in bourbon barrels. lakefront brewed four thousand bottles. toppers pizza is preparing to make a big hiring push -- with plans to add another 15-hundred employees before 2017. the fast-growing whitewater-based pizza chain says it's hiring efforts are mainly focused in milwaukee, chicago and minneapolis. toppers currently has 80 stores

milwaukee harley davidson is back open... the dealership on silver spring temporarily closed its doors last month amid a change in ownership. fox6s madeline anderson spoke with the new owners... and long-time re-opening event this afternoon. whether they're stopping in out of curiosity or convenience... i dont live too far from here. so its nice to have it open where i can bring my bike or buy parts here. milwaukee harley davidson customers are getting their first look at the dealership under its new owners. im looking forward to seeing how they change things. the chicago- based company "windy city

year-long legal battle with the previous owner. in a lawsuit... windy city alleged it was unable to close on the deal back then because the owner hadn't disclosed financial records. parent company harley davidson motor company shut the place down temporarily on october 20th while the court's decision was in limbo. all that stuff is behind us now. its all been dropped. justin johnson says the focus now is bringing the business up to speed with where it should be for harley riders. it doesnt do anybody good with it being dr work to do. general manager goran zadrina says he will honor agreements that were in place prior to him taking over... like the v-i-p maintenance program customers paid for in advance. everything else... zadrima says will be new. among the changes... a bigger selection of inventory... a riding academy and rental bikes. honestly this place is going to go very very far. windy city says while some of the employees under the previous owners have remained on staff... the general manager is looking to hire several new

the woman known for playing the nation's favorite television mom has passed away. florence henderson -- who played carol brady on "the brady bunch" -- died of heart failure last night at 82-years- old. stephanie elam has more. that lovely lady is florence henderson, who played america's favorite mom - carol brady - on the 19-70's hit t-v sitcom, the brady bunch. but her real story wasn't so ideal. born in 19-34 in dale, indiana, henderson grew up poor, with an alcoholic father and a mother who left when she was just 12-years old. henderson used her singing talent to entertain the family and help make ends meet. florence henderson / no

against the bank over its fake account scandal...but wells fargo is trying to kill the suit. the bank asked the u-s district court in utah on wednesday... to force dozens of those customers to resolve their claims in closed-door arbitration instead of open court. wells fargo argues that customers sign an agreement requiring them to enter arbitration. the bank is being sued for opening as many as 2-million unauthorized accounts to help meet sales goals. wells fargo has since apologized for the wrongdoing. to a 35- year low-- factors could include the aging of the u-s population, changing gender roles or the simple fact that not many people are getting married. some americans are foregoing marriage to stay single and live alone, or to co- habitate with their partners without tying the knot. utah has the highest marriage rate in the u-s, but its divorce rate is not the highest. surveillance video captures a popeyes employee fighting back against an

caledonia tonight. a father and his child are killed in a crash... allegedly caused by a drunk driver. ashley sears is in the newsroom with the latest. ashley? police tell us 39-year-old kevin dalley and his daughter 9-year-old emily dalley died in the crash. dalley's 6-year-old daughter survived. it happened at 4 mile road and old farm road around 4:45 tonight. investigators say two vehicles were traveling east on 4 mile road. a sedan with a father and two daut road and was rear ended by a truck going very fast. police say the driver of the truck was intoxicated. first responders rushed to the scene to help. sadly, the father and daughter did not survive. theres nothing that will put this familys lives back together. its the holiday season. their holidays will never be the same, all because some guy has to go out and drink and
