it will be in the depths no event for most of us. most of it will fall during the midday. -- it will be a midday snow event. there's a winter weather advisory starting at 10:00 a.m. in the metro area. some areas of snow are moving through kentucky, west virginia, ohio, n.c., and virginia. around the beltway at around 11:00 a.m. between 7:00 p.m. is when we will have scattered snow showers. that's not for the morning. high temperatures in the upper 20's. right now it is near 20 degrees. 14 in stafford, 22 at reagan national. one-two inches locally. spotsylvania, up to 3 inches.

morning rush hour and the evening rush-hour. you will probably run over some slippery spots on the way home. they have trucks ready to roll. they have retreated the roads. -- pretreated. that through a to northern virginia. they have 400 trucks on standby, ready to get out when they need to. snowplows and that sort of thing. one or two inches. in other areas we could see more. with cold weather and freezing temperatures, the roads are cold. transportation officials are concerned that when the snowfalls, it will stick, and that will make for super- commuters.
