reportedly found of the final moments of germanwing's flight 9525. investigators won't confirm, but two european news organization say they have matched it. the editor in chief of paris match telling abc news it's the worst video he's ever seen. this on the day of a bombshell admission from the airline lufthansa now revealing they knew andreas lubitz once suffered a serious depressive episode but hired him any way. andreas lubitz joined lufthansa's intensive pilot training school in 2008. the next year he took a leave of absence. the airline revealing that when he returned, andreas lubitz e-mailed medical records documenting his depression but he was allowed to resume his training. some of it in the united states. and in 2013 he achieved his life-long dream of becoming a pilot. >> somewhere, someone allowed this pilot to continue with his training in in spite of of what he told them is quite surprising. >> reporter: as investigators

hospital looking for this man, wossen assaye, a prisoner treated after a suicide attempt with a gun. wossen assaye is suspected of the being the bicycle bandit responsible for a dozen bank jobs getting away on two wheels. wossen assaye overpowered a security guard while a second guard is out of the room. he gets her gun. the second guard fires but misses. >> he walked down the hallway with the female contract guard sort of as a shield. >> reporter: wearing just his hospital gown, wossen assaye flees to an adjacent apartment complex and gets in the trunk of a car where he hides for nearly four hours until the car owner, a woman, starts to drive to work. a couple of miles down the road he bangs on the backseat. she is startled and runs in to

businesses the right to deny services to anyone. >> no hate in our state! >> reporter: the law leading to protests. >> we're absolutely not okay with it. >> reporter: and boycotts. connecticut, washington state and new york banning taxpayer funded travel to indiana. ahead of the final four college basketball tournament in indianapolis this weekend. >> clock is ticking. >> reporter: the ncaa headquartered in indiana is reconsidering the long-term investment there. >> the membership has been deeply disturbed by this bill, as have i and everyone who works here in the office. those concerns have not been allayed yet. >> reporter: some indiana democrats say the governor's plan to clarify the law's wording falls short of meeting the demand to quote fix this now. >> the most clear, decisive and understandable thing we can do is to repeal the statute. >> reporter: the white house also questioning the governor's response. press secretary saying pence was wrong in saying the religious freedom act was the same as a federal law passed in 1993.

he said indiana's legislation is much broader and quote, flies in the face of many people's values. t.j. and bazi? >> thanks, marci. marathon talks over iran's nuclear program are now in overtime after dragging past a midnight deadline. secretary of state john kerry briefed president obama and his national security team via video teleconference last night. the state department saying there's been enough progress to merit continuing negotiations, but several difficult hurdles remain. six nations have been trying to hammer out an outline for a future agreement aimed at curbing iran's nuclear program. a final deal could end crushing economic sanctions against iran. iraq's prime minister is claiming the city of tikrit has been liberated from isis, but that may be overstating the case. the city, birthplace of saddam hussein has been the scene of intense battles between isis and iraqi forces for a month. the u.s. launched air strikes to aid in the effort.

the pentagon would confirm only that iraqi forces are in tikrit, not that it is freed. in boston, the defense rested its case in the bombing trial of dzhokhar tsarnaev. as expected attorneys called a handful of witnesses. the case resumes next monday with closing arguments as abc's tom llamas reports. >> dzhokhar tsarnaev's life may now depend on how jurors interpret this video from the day of the bombing. tamerlan the lead. dzhokhar following in his older brother's footsteps. it's the picture that defense painted that tamerlan called the shots in the evil plan. their evidence, tamerlan's fingerprints, not dzhokhar tsarnaev, on rolls of tape, a caulking gun, soldering gun and jar of nails. possibly bomb-making supplies all found in the tsarnaev family home. tamerlan's prints on the pressure cooker bomb. tamerlan's computer not

there's a new twist this morning in the case of a real life gone girl in which a california woman claims she was kidnapped and then released. >> police say it was a hoax. now the woman's attorney is disclosing new details about the contents of an e-mail that he claims was sent by her kidnappers. abc's kayna whitworth has the latest. >> reporter: last week it was case closed. thought to be a hoax the kidnapping story out of vallejo, california leading to comparisons with the movie "gone girl."

>> disappeared three days ago. >> reporter: an alleged 15-page manifesto e-mailed to the "san francisco chronicle" is revealing a strange story of kidnappers with a conscience. admitting huskins wasn't their target and expressing regret for snatching her. >> they felt terribly when they discovered it was her but since this was a training mission they decided to carry it out regardless. >> reporter: her lawyer, douglas rapoport, states the kidnapping was part of a dry run. practice for higher-profile victims they plan to kidnap in the future. does the e-mail prove that denise huskins isn't a liar? her lawyer says yes. >> they talk very extensively how they prepared for it, what weapons to use. >> reporter: they describe themselves as a group of three. two with college educations and brag they have been running a carjacking and burglary ring for months. the group won't i.d. itself but says it feels the need to defend huskins and her boyfriend against charges from police that
