the fires have now claimed one life in kentucky. police say the victim was a coal truck driver who was struck by a vehicle in an area where smoked decreased visibility. hundreds in tennessee have been hospitalized with respiratory issues as the air quality in states effected by the fires continues to get worse. so far the fires have burned more than 80-thousand acres in five states and prompted state of emergencies in tennesee, north carolina, and kentucky. investigators in d.c. are trying to find out what caused a
