shooting inside a waldorf home last night. a man and a toddler-- dead. police say a woman and a girl are now hospitalized in critical condition. the events leading up to the shooting are still under investigation but the charles county sheriff's office says it appears to be "domestic-related". the identity of the victims will be released when next of kin has been notified. elsewhere in maryland. a man is in critical condition after a shooting outside a temple hills movie theater. it happened last night in the 38-hundred block o

was shot in his upper body inside of a car. no word on a suspect or a motive for the shooting. happening today. the two men charged with killing a spotsylvania woman will make their first court appearance. 21 year old heather ciccone was found shot to death in december of 20-15. joshua williams and jonathan vejarano-- are now charged with killing her. the men are already in jail on unrelated charges. police have not released a motive for the slaying-- and have decline to say which suspect fired the shot that killed ciccone. new this morning-- an unexpected impact from president trump's recent travel bans. now- thousands of canadians will not be visiting the u-s. canada was not named in any of the travel bans-- but the toronto district school board says they will no longer book trips across their southern border. a toronto official telling the associated press-- they don't want to risk " a student for no legitimate reason being denied entry to the u.s." therefore-- there will be no trips for any of their 240-thousand students.

charged in the murder of a black man in new york city.. james jackson is being held without bond. police say he told them, the attack was merely a practice run for a racist mass murder spree. jackson allegedly killed 66-year-old timothy caughman monday night.. with a sword. jackson turned himself in on wednesday. he told police he chose new york to carry out the killing because it's the media capital of the world. he's charged with murder as a hate crime. d.c. is staying a sanctuary city, amid an intense debate over immigration. at
