rick gates have pleaded not guilty. they're charged with conspiracy, money laundering, and failing to register as agents for a foreign government. and it's now revealed: former trump campaign foreign policy adviser george papadopoulos pleaded guilty earlier this month to lying to the f-b-i. he's been secretly cooperating. the charges against manafort and gates are unrelated to their activity working on the trump campaign. but experts say it's telling that papadopoulos is cooperating with investigators. they say that indicicates.. he's in a position to provide more information. we'll hear what the white house has to say.. coming up at 5:30. abc-7 is giving you an in-depth look at these cases. we have all the documents related to the indictments online. and you can read them through the abc7 app.

will testify on capitol hill today about russia-linked ads on it's network. the social media site is expected to reveal that those posts may have reached up to 126 million people. last week twitter said it uncovered more than 27-hundred accounts linked to russia. today's hearing is one of three schedule this week on russian use of social media. tomorrow, twitter and google will also testify. happening right now - an arrest warrant out for actress rose mcgowan on drug charges here in virginia. the metropolitan washington airports authority police tell us - back in january, items left on a dulles flight - belonging to mcgowan - tested positve for narcotics. mcgowan was in town for the women's march. police reached out to mcgowan - so she can appear in loudoun county court. police are searching for three people in connection with a violent home invasion.. sparked by a road rage incident. it happened friday night in prince william county. police say a couple's 19-year-old son refused to let a black honda civic speed by. the two men and one woman in the honda allegedy chased the teen home, and forcibly entered the house. police say they then attacked the teen's parents.
