it's a warm start to a warm week. sharon's back in traffic and as bernadette woods is in for marty at first warning weather. time flies. fall starts wednesday. okay, as far as today, it's a warm start to the day. we're ranging everything in 69 in baltimore and 63 in elkton and 63 in westminster and bel air. as we head into the afternoon, we're going up into the upper 70s. not warming up all that much. that's because a cold front overnight. the thing is, warm ore air will be returning and taking over later on this week. we have the rush for you now in traffic control. >> not much to get in your way. we'll take it for a monday morning.

are returning without a popular classmate who was killed while crossing a busy intersection last week. >> reporter: good morning, don. the 14-year-old will be laid to rest after an emotional weekend for his friends and family. a memorial was held standard for joey d'entremont. the 14-year-old freshman died friday night crossing route 24, north of the bel air bypass. his friends tried to comfort each other. >> he'll never be forgotten. he was a good kid and number 30 will live for ever. >> reporter: he was a line backer and he played music. >> it's hard to belief he's gone. >> reporter: a 19-year-old had the right of way when he struck

elderly patient. he shot the doctor and shot himself and his mother. >> now, the police are investigating a pair of deadly shootings. baltimore, a man was struck in the back and chest and later died. it may have been from an earlier altercation. >> and 15 minutes later, more gunshots. an unidentified man was rush to the hospital where he died after being shot. and a rough night for those on bermuda. the national hurricane centner in miami says that igor's eye was west of the island. thousands are without power

cool air mass. we'll transition into really warm air masses starting on wednesday. as the warm air comes in, it will push the jet stream to the north. that's where the storms will rise. the thunderstorm should stay to the in order. we'll see if they're close enough to give us a chance. we'll feel the warmth taking over maryland once again. out in the tropics, igor is passing by bermuda to the west. it's on the eastern side of the storm, that's the worst. that's where the waters pile up. it was really pounding the island. it's picking up speed and it will be racing away and weakening. we have a tropical storm julia and it will be leaving and staying over the waters forecast for us, 79 degrees for the high today and partly sunny and tonight, down to 50.

sharon will have the traffic after bernadette woods in first warning weather. it's a pretty nice start to the week weatherwise. you can see the sunshine out there and clouds to the east. as we head into the afternoon, partly cloudy skies and temperatures, it's a warm start to the day. we have 66 in baltimore and 62 in elkton and taking it in closer. it's 66 in rock hall and 69- degrees in kent island this morning. we're warming up to 79 degrees. the cold front moved through and not much to it. we can see the clouds out there right now. partly cloudy skies and we'll

it's a warm start to the day. the winds turned to the north and the cold front made its way last night. we had showers to the north and the front will be leaving us. bind it, a -- behind it, a shot of warmer air and tomorrow, not up much either. there's really warm air out there down to the south west. and here's the shot of cooler air, it gets out of here and

wednesday, the first day of fall, we'll warm up. the other thing, it pushes the entire storm track to the north. that's where the fronts are riding. en wednesday, one will pass by and another on thursday. there's a chance for a shower and thunderstorm. our chances are small. and overall, what we're going to notice is the warmth returning to the mid-atlantic. in the tropics, this is igor. still, 75 miles per hour winds. it's passed by bermuda to the west. it's been battering the island for the past 24 hours. tropical storm forced conditions will continue for most of the day. and the bad news is, too. on the eastern side of the storm, that's where we'll see the strongest storm surge. and the other storm is julia. there. and the forecast for today we're going up to 79-degree and close to 80 in the afternoon. and a lot of people will be in

the 40s overflight. we've recovered to 77 degrees and after that, though, 88 on wednesday and 86 degrees on thursday and 88 degrees on friday. don? measure thank you, sounds good. here's sharon with more. >> well, it's starting to get busier out there. we picked up a problem in parkville. watch for fire active toy at pairing parkway. and we have some delays on 95 southbound in the yellow now between the beltway and 8995. four minutes at 42 miles per hour. there's the speeds around the beltway. that's starting to slowdown as well. and there's the look at the drivetimes and the speeds. 35 miles per hour between 795 and 95 with a 17 minute drive time. taking a live look at old court road, there's the brakes and the delay.

people want to look good. my book is a little different than the other books. it's not old school, you're not going to the gym and doing squats and bench presses, it's innovative and people ask me, how do you have those abs and arms. >> you work your butt off. yes, i do and there are examples of the exercises i do that are difference and if you try them, they'll motivate you. >> and the rainbow with the medicine ball, i do that. it's great for your abs. >> yeah. >> so you do that, that's great. >> and i like the stretching in the book. when i go to the gym, i see the people go to the door and go to the weights and to the machines without stretching. >> yeah, that's, that's a sign for a bad injury.

stretching is really important. i came from the old school where your just twirl your arms around and that's it. but this type is retistive stretching. you can do it at home. because you're resisting, you'll get strength training and a great stretch. i put the abs exercises in there. so many people want to see my abs. >> you see my abs and they think it's air brushed, but it's not. >> but you can do 300 ab reps a day, but if you don't take the body fat off, you'll never see the six pack. >> yeah, you have to do the aerobics. >> could you kick michael phelps butt for us.
