i realized okay this really works. i have stopped using sensodyne in the past for like a week. and then i would notice slowly but surely that same sensitivity would start coming back. i said let me go back to using the sensodyne. this one is a keeper. it's 6:00 and the pleasant weather is overshadowed by what's to come. well, no question, it's a calm day's start. that's not a issue.

take a look at the day part. what we'll see is eventually, skies clouding up. pretty quickly by noon. by evening, there's a chance of lain -- rain in the evening and that's tropical depression number 16. that could be the name nicole. 72 at lunch and on its way to a high of 82 degrees? here's the radar. we'll see the low. that's tropical depression number 16 south of key west. we're seeing the moisture compressed up the coast as far north as the virginia/north carolina border. that's a result of tropical depression number 16. when you look at the spaghetti model, it's another bad news for us. it's bringing it over the area. and it, tropical depression number 16, over the next 36

since the 16-year-old was killed while riding his bike in elkridge. his family's emotions are still raw. >> easy going, no matter what was going on. he had a little smile on his face. >> reporter: this 27-year-old pleaded guilty to hitting the boy and he was intoxicate and he was carrying heroin. he'll be subject to random drug counseling and he'll woman serve six months in prison -- he'll only serve six months in prison. >> you'll serve more time for possession of heroin than killing somebody? >> reporter: the only charges he pled guilty to were possessioning heroin and driving under the influence. >> sometimes, the stronger the

state's case, the less they want to give up and the weaker the case, the more willing they are to give up something. >> he didn't get to get married and i think that it should, you know, someone who decided to do drugs and drink and get in the car. and he just did that, you know, for fun. he took my brother's life. i think that it should mess up his life to a point where he regrets it. >> reporter: he'll do the six months in prison first and then, the house arrest. don, back to you. >> and as part of the plea deal, the prison term was suspended accept for the six months inside and house arrest. a 33-year-old officer is

dead. investigators are saying that it was because of the rain. mayor stephanie rawlings-blake thanks him for his service to the city. will. a howard county couple is suing their apartment complex claiming that bedbugs bit them in their sleep. they say that the complex was negligent in not treating the unit after the bedbugs were discovered next door. a major agreement for the schools and we have a preview for you now. here's denise koch with what would be a big change. >> reporter: good morning, according to the media partner, the baltimore sun, teacher pay will no longer be based on years of experience and number of college degrees. instead, with the goal of improving education, teacher's pay will be based on student's performance. the obama administration was pushing for a change.

motion, we'll look at a few things. winds 35 miles per hour. we've seen bigger nor'easters and yeah, it may not get a name. it's the rain, not the wind we're concerned about. it's gathered a ton of moisture from the south west atlantic from charleston and daytona. we have the jet stream dipped off to the west. and imagine two spinning wheels in different directions. like a tennis ball, you'll see the batting cages. and put it in between the wheels and it pops out. that's what's happening between the moisture. it's moving quickly up the coast. this thing right now, it's south of key west. by friday morning, it's going to be north of the area.

and the spaghetti models are agreeing broad senter is coming from the west. the strong parts of these lows are to the east of the center. in other words, here's where all of the rain and wind is. we're more concerned about the rain. as the low tracks west of frederick, where's the energy going to be. right on the 95 corridor. that's what we're looking at in the spaghetti model. so, today, we can put the warning and graphic up. the easiest way to say it is, every count accept for two, garrett and allegany is under a flood watch or a coastal flood watch. that's areawide and the acception of the two counties. rain by dinner time and a high of 75 degrees this day. don, take it away.
