as mary leads our coverage live from washington dc as he battles to protect other familys from this sort of protest. >> following a fire there yesterday. the blaze actually broke out in a building beline the mediterranean restaurant. they never reached the dining room but did damage the kitchen. they plan to open after the clean up in two to three day. >> >> a fire causes an apartment building to be evacuated last night after the blaze broke out at 20 stockville road. the fire also started in the kitchen. nobody was injured. one man has been found guilty and faces the death penalty. steven hayes was found of raping jennifer petit and -- her husband did testify at the trial. he survived the athe trial.

the last rate increase was back in 1993. >> bge wants an extra $22.32 for natural gas service per year. >> i am a senior citizen on a fixed income, and i think it is out ray gas. everybody's making less and less money. my money is worth less every single year. >> the so-called distribution rates make up about a fourth of your monthly bill. bge needs to charge you more because they're paying more. >> if you look at the costs of cable and electric wire, they have are increased over 100% since the last time we had a rate increase request with. other costs have increased, tree trimming costs by about 80%. >> bg says you can pay less by using less. >> that's why we have so many programs to conserve, get rebate, bill credit, they need to manage their money better because i have to manage mine

before mark did and you know we both had similar training and experiences, both as you know test pilots and astronauts before we actually flew. and after my first flight i tried to explain to mark what the first eight and a half minutes of the mission, was like, and to the best of my ability, and then when he got back and was getting out of the shuttle after landing and i was there to greet him. the first thing he said to me was that he no idea what the assent was going to be like. it is just that much of an impressive incredible experience to be riding the rocket behind or in front of 7.5 million pounds of thrust. >> that would qualify you for daytona 500. you would be on with that. i will tell you that is serious muscle. is there anything you guys given your space flight experience have disagreed on

where you said you are not even close on that one just brotherly conversation? >> we -- i can't think of anything. scott is coming up on a big mission more like a marathon. he is very focused on this longer training flow and a longer flight. i am focused on 13 days with my crew and we execute the mission together. we do discuss that a lot. i can't think of anything we have disagreed on yet though with regards to my flight i still have about five to six months in front of me before we launch. >> unfortunately the time is running short. good luck to both of you on your commissions. congratulations on the past success and have just a great future hanging out together and reliving serving the quite together in the navy and nasa. >> thanks. appreciate it. >> thank you. that's very, very cool. very cool in deed.
