information as soon as we get it. tonight news 6 has learned no charges will be filed in the death of two toddlers who drowned in a holly hill pool. >> lisa: we first told you about the incident in july when the two 1-year-olds were found unresponsive in this backyard pool. news 6 reporter justin warmoth is here now. police did originally charge the woman who was supposed to be watching the children. so what changed? >> reporter: according to this memo from the state attorney's office today, prosecutors did not find sufficient evidence to charge the 33-year-old woman with manslaughter like the deputies recommended. she was the mother of one of the toddlers and grandmother to the other. >> reporter: on july 30th of 2015, the children slipped out of an unlocked sliding glass door and tumbled into this dark algae-infested pool in the backyard of a holly hill home. a 33-year-old woman was watching

she put them to sleep around 11:00 the night before she said, barricading them in their rooms, locking all the doors. when she woke up around 7:00 that morning, the toddlers were still asleep. so she went back to sleep. when she woke up around noon, the back sliding glass doors were open. she found the toddlers, not breathing, facedown in the pool. according to the memo the state attorney's office released today. prosecutors said the facts surrounding this tragedy do not rise to the level of culpable negligence, sufficient to the filing of criminal charges, noting jenkins took the appropriate steps to secure both children. but what about the pool, filled with rainwater and the lack of a safety fence surrounding it. we asked if that was enough to

getting a new temperature update. we won't be that warm at 6:00 tonight. we'll still be mild. the rain doesn't get here until way late. it's not like it's raging and blowing in here. it's just a reinforcing shot of cooler air. between now and midnight and 1 a.m., it's not a big deal. it's after when 3 or 4:00 in the morning, the edge of this comes through marion county and makes its way down to the villages. the heaviest of the rain looks to be 5 a.m. west of daytona beach and by 6, 7, 8:00, it passes on through. that puts it into downtown orlando just before sunrise in the 7:00 hour and then out of brevard county by around 9:30. through the day tomorrow, i'm not talking about a rainy situation. i'm talking about an improving weather situation through the day tomorrow. on for saturday. and sunday as well. overnight lows tonight are not too shabby. 56 degrees in ocala. 50 in leesburg and 57 does it in palm coast and daytona beach, 60 before the rain arrives just before sunrise tomorrow. overnight low tonight is 62.
