>> amy: her disappearance sparked an amber alert. fox 35's jackie orozco has the latest. >> reporter: she is now back in her mother's arms. she was kept here at arnold palmer hospital for observation. this they said after she was abandoned. 23-year-old stephanie augustine and 14-year-old cousin are charged with numerous charges. they took the baby from a fort lauderdale home from gun point. her disappearance sparked an amber alert on saturday. they found the baby girl on north way parkway.

23-year-old young driver. fhp tells us that she should not have been driving in the first place after her license was revoked last august. >> amy: construction has been resumed after one worker was killed. construction was halted. limited work started back up on saturday night. crews said they hope to have all construction back up and running by this coming friday. >> john: a basketball coach wanted for child molestation has been arrested while trying to escape to mexico. he was arrested by u.s. marshals on friday. he coached with the palm bay youth basketball league. detectives said he engaged with inappropriate activities at a sleep over at his home in malabar.

tomorrow night. and here's jayme king. >> jayme: good morning. let's talk about monday morning's weather. it looks pretty good overall. a cool start. but nothing like we had saturday and sunday. and this morning in the upper 40s in spots. lower 40s in gainesville. by and large, 350s for the kids at the bus stop scene. 50s. and a cool, dry morning but better in the day. a warm afternoon, in the 80s. perhaps a bit of filtered sunshine. uv index around a 6. between the moderate and higher range. do your due diligence and protect your skin if you are lucky enough to be out today. there will be times of bright florida sunshine. clouds up 20,000 feet. helping to phase the sun a little bit. looking for a filtered sunshine.

78 by 2:00 p.m. 75 for the drive home at 5:00 p.m. i have drawn out the fronts here. you can see we have troughing dipping in the stream in the southern branch of the jet stream. featuring high pressure for us. a protective barrier, if you will, and helping to guide the system to the north, off the eastern shores of the u.s. i suppose the tail end may try to drop in. we won't see anything in the way of rainfall production. that's all remaining to the north. the bad news, really none. much of the nation is pretty brisk over the he midwestern states. but it's very dry down south. a front will arrive wednesday and friday. but there's not a lot of up and down with temperatures. slight fluctuations day and day out.

fox 35's gina benitez has more. >> reporter: troopers say that the 27-year-old was not supposed to be driving. her license was revoked. she was charged with suspended license and vehicular homicide. they were attempting to pull her over for speeding when she took off. she kept driving to get away from them. ultimately ran a read light here and then hit the side ofu#{ cody gaier garrick's car. sadly, he died in the crash. and there were red light cameras at the intersection that the troopers will likely use to help the investigation. and she will be appearing in court this morning.

it's kind of a glancing blow. this next one is closer by midweek but not packing much of a punch. diminished in the overall strength department. token chances wednesday and probably during the day on friday. very low, 10 to 20% at best. you probably won't see any rain, not much of any if you happen to see a few rain drops. national temperatures. teen, 20s, and 30s. pretty warm across the southwestern u.s. that continues for the gulf south, and us here in central florida, a nice day overall. the next system getting here about mid-week. a thin risk-on of shower activity. cloud cover may increase just a hair. but high pressure fills in immediately after this gets through. and then another system by thursday. impacted the region by friday.

the road in gainesville. someone on board reported a fire in the cockpit yesterday. a few moments later, the plane went down on waldo road. they took the pilot and the passenger to the hospital. the injuries are minor. no word on what caused the crash. the good news is that no one on the ground was hurt either. >> amy: are a little boy with with a rare heart defect. and most of his life has been spent in the hospital. he had a birthday party in odessa. made spiderman, batman, and favorite characters if star wars too. he said it checked a the bucket list. >> put up a bucket list. do other stuff. when we thought of this, we came to this party. >> you're amazing.
