the final push to sway voters their way. we had a chance to sit down with one of those candidates. local 5's sabrina ahmed spoke with ted cruz. "sabrina - today we are just a few days away from the iowa caucuses, so we had the opportunity to sit down with senator ted cruz on his very large bus, talked to him about what its going to take to win iowa, his likeability factor, plus what some voters are saying to him on the trail. senator ted cruz - we are two days away, all the time for the media attacks, all the noise, all of that has passed. this is all about the men and women of iowa. the men and women of iowa making a decision and what we're focusing every waking moment on is asking for the support of the men and women of iowa, building and mobilizing our grassroots team. we've got over two hundred thousand volunteers nationwide. we've got over twelve thousand volunteers on the ground here in iowa. but, the great thing is the men and women of iowa take very seriously their responsibilities first in the nation. to examine and study the records, and what we're seeing is as they're doing so, more

courageous conservatives are uniting behind our campaign. one of the amazing dynamics we're seeing in this race is the washington establishment is abandoning marco rubio. i think they've determined marco can't win, and they're flocking to donald trump. now, in both instances, the reason they say is that they want someone who will go along to get along. they want someone who will cut a deal. both bob dole and trent lott recently said that they'd be fine with donald trump because they can work with him. he'll cut a deal. trump went on t.v. and said he thought the problem with ted is that he wont go along to get along. he won't cut deals with democrats in washington. and, he, donald trump, will do that, and marco rubio, we've seen in the gang of eight amnesty bill. marco rubio is very happy to cut deals with democrats even if he promised the voters he'd do something else. sabrina - and, of course, it all comes down to voter turn out, as he said, so it will be very interesting race and it will be very interesting to see what transpires come
