>> good morning, 5 a.m. thursday, march 12. >> two police officers have been shot outside the ferguson police department in missouri. >> a stray bullet misses a grandmother and two young children inside their home. >> "action news" has confirmed that a really good running back will visit philadelphia today. >> reporter: lots of speculation, let's not speculate any longer about what to expect with weather and traffic. let's go over to david murphy and karen rogers. how many running backs do we have like nine, i think they will be up to 4 if they sign this one.

cloud cover vacating the scene we'll see sunshine today, which is good. we're down to 46 in philadelphia. 42 in wilmington. 42 in allentown, a couple of 30s on the map here and there. millville, 34 degrees, there's a bit of a breeze starting to kick in that makes it feel like the upper 30s we're back to the coat weather and adding a hat and some kids might want gloves. on the way to the bus stop, clear skies chilly and breezy. 40 degrees by 6:00. as we roll through the day, it will be seasonable mild, but not as mild as yesterday. 49 degrees by noon, 52 by 3:00 p.m. examines -- which is where you would expect to be for this time of the year. we have rain on the way. part of the weekend will be affected by that, i'll have the details coming up. >> reporter: dave, oddly enough we're dry out there no problems

weather wise, but we have nasty accidents, this one in burlington county new jersey, springfield township, jacksonville road at gilbert road. watch for restrictions in the area. stick to ox meade road. go over to willingboro not that far off. we have a multi-vehicle accident, four vehicles involved one vehicle on its side. this is northbound 130 they have shut it down at beverly rancocas road. use bridge borough road back to 130. we have a water main break the action cam is on the scene. we are looking at problems with this, you can see the size of the hole they have on cannon avenue it will be shut down between twes e -- west main and west second street.

stick to mitchell avenue. let's start with breaking news, two police officers were shot and wounded during a protest in ferguson, missouri overnight. it happened during demonstrations outside the police department. eva pilgrim is live in the satellite center with this. >> reporter: matt, the ferguson protests after the police chief's resignation. now police are looking for the gunman who shot two police officers who were there to keep the peace. >> reporter: protesters were clearing out when suddenly gunfire. >> we saw the muzzle fire from the gun atop the street. we ducked down and as we saw the cop go down. >> reporter: bullets hit two

officers from neighboring police department, a county officer a webster grove officer shot in the face. >> these officers were standing together and several officers were standing together when this happened. these were shots parallel to the ground not up in the air, we have to make an assumption that these shots were directed exactly at my police officers. >> reporter: they were there to keep watch over the protesters after the resignation of police chief tom jackson, he is the 6th city employee to be fired or resign after the scathing justice department report. ferguson erupted in protests becoming violent the sometimes after the shooting of michael brown by darren wilson. three shots were fired north of the police department, the gunman is on the loose and

church wall at elm wood avenue, another went through a bay window of a row home, inside a 4 and 6-year-old girl were watching television, the grandmother told the girls to duck and cover if they hear gun shots. >> their scream was devastating. they ran in the kitchen and hid behind a bridge -- fridge police have not gotten information from witnesses, they are asking neighbors to help in investigation. police have not been able to locate a shooting victim. a preliminary hearing for a man who was charged with video taping women and girls in dressing rooms at the king of prussia mall. he posted the videos on porn graphic websites. moses arrived on the radar when

three women told them he snuck up to their bedrooms in bryn mawr and video taped them. a lindenwald mother received a call that her daughter had been kidnap. at person told the woman she had to pay $1,000 for her daughter's safe return. police found the girl 30 minutes later, at a friends house. the investigation revealed the call from puerto rico and it was a scam. if you get a call contact police immediately. "action news" has confirmed that demarko murray will be in philadelphia for visit. it's a no lose situation for eagles. sam bradford said he is trying to recruit murray because he is a friend. >> a head scratcher because
