>> breaking now on "action news," new video released within the hour of a raging apartment fire that injured several people in new jersey overnight. developing this morning tornado ravaged regions brace for more storms, millions are under a severe weather threat today. >> patchy fog is a concern for our area. accuweather is tracking the hazy conditions this morning. >> good morning it is monday, david and karen have weather and traffic. >> reporter: we have mist coming out of the cloud. take a look at satellite we have dark gray shade across the area. we have fog at jfk and washington. i think this will evaporate a bit as we go through the morning and we should wiped up with a mix of cloud anticipate sun. warm in philadelphia, 67 in wilmington. 71 in allentown and low 60s down the shore.

the dewpoints indicating the muggy air anything over 60 on the dewpoint scale indicates humidity beginning to be felt and in the mid 60s, 66 in philadelphia. it's easy to tell it's humid by walking around a little bit. noon, 80, off to the races. high today 85 degrees warm and muggy today and just a slight chance of a pop-up shower or thunderstorm. most of you stay dry. looks like another warm one tomorrow followed by moore comfortable weather i'll have the details in the seven-day forecast. karen, what about roads this morning. >> reporter: we have a mess in new jersey, an accident involving an overturned truck blocking two right lanes on 295 northbound between 42 and 168. there's another accident behind it 295 northbound approaching 42 that he is in the backlog jammed from 47 to past 42. within that jam you have another knew accident.

you're seeing speeds at 25 miles per hour at best in the area. now the delay is spilling on to 42 northbound. 1 miles per hour we're slow from 544 to approaching 295 here at creek road it doesn't look as bad and jamming otherwise through the scene. an accident on the the new jersey turnpike southbound is cleared molly pitcher service area. east windsor avoid devon shire drive because of the fire location. i meant to update you about a problem on woodhaven and academy. woodhaven is moving fine. there was a downed pole from an earlier accident, police 0 on the scene and peco on the scene they are trying to fix the downed pole. stick to academy or comly. >> let's go to katherine scott breaking news out of mercer county new jersey, people are hurt including a firefighter among the injured on the scene

at an apartment fire. we have video that shows the flames were really shot. let's go to katherine scott in east windsor township with the latest. >> reporter: good morning, tam we got an update from the fire chief. initially we heard three people were injured. the fire chief said it is two people who were injured. one was a firefighter who suffered ann ankle injury and taken to the hospital. the second person was a man who jumped from from the second floor window to escape the smoke and flames in his apartment. no word on his condition at this time. firefighters are on the scene they are breaking down equipment and wrapping things up. you up. the investigation into the cause is underway. 20 people have been displaced. 16 units affected. 8 of the units were able to to bal vajed 8 are a loss we're told. let's go to cell phone video the fire was raging, anthony miles

developing story out of texas a tornado has just swept through an area that was hit by twisters hard there and heavy flooding. this shows the aftermath in van texas near dallas. 26 people were injured and the search for survivors continues. medics are carrying away people in stretchers. this is brand new dramatic video of what looks like a tornado in iowa ripping of roof off a school. a drnld formed near a -- tornado formed near a church in south dakota. we said the lord's prayer and we felt the pressure and you could larry the bricks falling. >> texas national guard conducted water rescues. a pregnant woman nearby was watching a friend's baby became stranded when a creek

accident itself off to the side, eastbound traffic as you head toward center city, slow here and really in both directions on the schuylkill expressway. fire location at kensington avenue and east willard street. big picture looking at speeds like 13 miles per hour i-95 southbound near girard 8 miles per hour on the schuylkill expressway westbound past the boulevard to past belmont. an accident lower frederick montgomery county big road and girlock road. we have an accident involving an overturned truck blocking a couple of lanes that created a bus stop on 295 northbound between 47 and 42. that cleared but then within the backup we got another accident 295 northbound near 42. ramp from lower landing road to 42 northbound, 42 was heavy
