street. this is a vacant warehouse in southwest philadelphia. there are a few roads around the vicinity of the warehouse that are closed down. it was brought under control just about 11:00 p.m. last night. the fire broke out after 8:30 p.m. in this warehouse at 71st and kingsessing. flames were pouring out of the roof when firefighters arrived. by 9:40 firefighters were battling a three-alarm blaze which we were able to get under control. back out here live in southwest philadelphia. this fire was declared under control around 11:00 p.m. you can see, though, the hose is still stretched across 71st street at kingsessing. that's why the roads remain closed, because firefighters are dealing with hot spots in the area and these roads remain closed as they keep after that this morning. no word on what caused the fire. live in southwest philadelphia, eva pilgrim channel 6 "action

news." >> thank you, eva. new this morning, gunfire left a man in critical condition in camden. the shooting happened before 2:00 a.m. at benson street and utah avenue. the 21-year-old man was shot in the chest. officers are looking for the trigger man. a collision in northeast philadelphia left two teenagers in critical condition. a pick up truck broadsided a vehicle carrying two 15-year-olds. chopper 6 was over the crash yesterday afternoon. the 17-year-old was in the car and treated at the hospital and released. the driver of the pick up was not hurt. accident investigators are trying to determine the cause of the crash. more trouble for the revel casino hotel. they face fines for complying with the fire code. they did not have competent engineers to oversea the alarms and equipment. the owner let go of union engineers at the property

storm tracker 6 live double scan shows you we have no issues with rain. as we look outside we're looking to a nice, bright sunrise. we have calm winds across the region. high pressure in control today. temperatures 60 degrees in philadelphia. the winds are calm. so definitely easing into the day in pretty good shape. you can see the lack of cloud cover out there. there might be a streak of high, thin clouds that will evaporate once the sun gets over us. we have high pressure in control and knocking the winds down and insuring mostly sunny skies. 58 degrees by 8:00. 65 by 11:00. a great morning to get out there and get your jog in. this afternoon take it easy. 2:00 p.m., 73. the high 75 late in the day around 4:00 p.m. back to 73 by 5:00 p.m. seriously even if you're working and manage to get out and grab lunch outside for a little bit that's a good play today.

we look at high temperatures, 72 in allentown this afternoon. 73 in reading and trenton. a couple of degrees cooler in the northern suburbs than yesterday. similar numbers today in philadelphia and wilmington and millville. down the shore highs around 70 degrees, but nice. tomorrow we're going so zoom ahead of an approaching cold front probably get up to 80 in the afternoon. as the front comes through, the clouds increase and we'll see showers and rumble of thunder tomorrow which is odd for this time of the year. we do get that sometimes and tomorrow could be one of those days. in the northern and western suburbs, possibility of thunderstorm. maybe lighter showers rolling through and by 10:00 p.m. we have lighter scattered showers. if you're heading out to high school football check out "action news" before you head out and keep the storm tracker 6 live app handy on your smart phone. 75 is the high, sunny and

media mogul rupert murdoch has taken a jab at president obama on twitter. while praising ben carson. he wrote why not about a real black president who can properly address a racial divide he drove followers to new york magazine that questions president obama's impact on the african-american community. it is not published by rupert murdoch's news corp. classes are canceled at eastern kentucky university looking into a threatening message by on a bathroom wall. it read kill all by 8:15. the university is offering a ten thousand reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. this is the second threat made against eastern kentucky this year. >> philadelphia police honored a hero for his sacrifice. a plaque is on display outside
