door early. we're following developing news arc -- a philadelphia teenager was out enjoying the quiet night on her front steps when out of nowhere kim a stray bullet that -- came out of nowhere and hit her. >> reporter: police are trying to figure out who is behind this, they believe the 16-year-old was an innocent victim struck by a stray bullet and in fact the detectives at the east division continue to investigate. officers were called out to hunting park at 11:30, a 16-year-old girl was shot in the leg standing on the front steps of her home talking to her sister when they heard several shots. she didn't realize she was hit in the thigh and ran into the house until medics arrived.

police are gathering evidence and trying to figure out what happened. at least four separate businesses in the immediate area have exterior surveillance cameras. east detectives are on location processing the scene. police hope they can pull footage from the surveillance cameras. police don't have any description of the shooter or shooters. they want to hear from you if you have any tips we're live in hunting park, katherine scott channel 6 "action news." thank you. also developing this morning two bucks county teens were taken to the hospital after what police were calling an under-age party. the action can cam was on the se in east rock hill township. police were called to the home for a noise complaint. officers took some teens home. they have not told us why some teens needed medical attention, but they said it was just a precaution.
