the seven seas lagoon at disney world into a watery grave. 16 hours after snatched by an alligator his body was found today. it is wednesday night and the big story on "action news" tonight is the discovery of lane graves' body. the officials say he drown, his body was intact. and monica malpass with the full story. >> the tiny body recovered from the lagoon where he was attacked. and officials had to deliver the grim news to his devastated parents. it was the outcome that everyone feared and no one wanted. 2-year-old lane graves' body recovered not far from where he was attacked last night. the sheriff had the horrible task of telling the distraught parents. >> i delivered the message, along with a priest, a catholic priest. and, of course, the family was distraught. >> less than 24 hours ago the graves family, including five children, were on the beach

after movie night. they were walking in less than a foot of water when a 4- to 7-foot alligator grabbed little lane. and the father dashed into the water and wrestled the alligator but could not listen the grip. and the alligator swam away with the child and the father called 911. >> it is nighttime and that's when they love to hunt. they hear slashing in the water and a small object and easy targets. >> 50 rescuers and helicopters and dive teams immediately began the search, continuing to look through the night pulling five alligators today from the lagoon and killing them. they are comparing the teeth now to the bite wounds to make sure they got the right one. this is the first alligator death in the park's history. the odds of the attack are 1 in 2.5 million experts say and disney immediately offered condolences. >> everyone here at the walt disney world resort is devastated by this tragic accident. >> the child was in an area

marked "no swimming allowed" but no warning of alligators. in the meantime the family is thanking volunteers for their exhaustive efforts. >> the graves family is now left to plan their child's burial and grieve his loss. absolutely devastating. >> thank you. and the f.b.i. is trying to learn everything about omar mateen's wife, noor mateen. talking to everyone who knows her. and word that the f.b.i. has surveillance video of her as she accompanied her husband as he bought ammunition. and the authorities want to know if she knew that he planned to attack the nightclub pulse in an attack killing 49 people. and they say that she has taken a polygraph test but the results have not didn't disclosed. and we are learning that omar mateen applied to the police

philadelphia this afternoon rattled homes and rattled some nerves. the blast blew out some windows. the boom was heard blocks away. neighbors near 26th and christian were told to stay in their homes for a brief period of time while first responders investigated the facility. it turns out that a boiler erupted. and the plant officials say the system worked exactly as it intended, but for neighbors it was cause for alarm. >> i heard the big boom and the ground shook. >> an explosion and the whole house shook. it sounded like the roof was coming in, it was scary. and we all ran outside. >> there was no fire. the plant continued to operate and one person was slightly hurt by flying glass. an "action news" viewer captured a different kind of explosion in coatesville this afternoon. this gas-fed flame eye

huge adjustment for american schools. more than 85% ring the school bell before 8:30. the east neshaminy high school students can rest easy, the years of hard work paid off in a diploma. graduation night for the class of 2016 at the school's athletic stadium in langhorne. and on to high school for 41 young achievers graduating from 8th grade from the jesuit high school. and tonight the ceremony included teachers and prayers and some gospel. and it was an extra-special commencement for this year's graduating class at universal high school, and the students on this stage received more than $1 million in scholarships for college. that is the most of any senior class in the school's history. let's get the five-day -- make it the seven-day accuweather forecast. >> that's ok.

in the form of clouds and showers, especially the first half of the day. the morning rush, a good idea to use caution. and the rain, could have heavy downpours. and can't rule out thunder south of philadelphia, allow extra time and tune into david murphy beginning at 4:30 and he will track the rain. and futuretracker showing we will have some rain by the morning commute. by 7:30 you see thunderstorms across south jersey, and a steady rain north of philadelphia. around lunchtime, still a scattering of showers. not all that widespread. and then by the afternoon, drier air starts to puncture through bringing us run of sunshine. late in the afternoon pretty nice. and on friday, another low pressure will slide to the south. i think most of the rain will be missing us, but it could brush the far southern zones. southern delaware, extreme southern new jersey, whatever happens by the afternoon looking at loads of sunshine with high of 80. and that high pressure will maintain control over the

weekend. it's going to be a beautiful weekend. so the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast, a few showers tomorrow, especially early in the day. some breaks of sunshine by the afternoon. cool for june standards with a high of 74 degrees. friday, again could have a clip of some rain south of philadelphia, but loads of sunshine by the afternoon, 80 degrees. and then getting into a warming trend. saturday sunshine and beautiful. and father's day 85, and low humidity. if you are running in the gary papa run looking great, sunny. by 10:00, 73 degrees. heading into next week, summer officially arrives on monday evening. and hotter tuesday and 92. and a cold front can bring us strong, maybe even severe thunderstorms in the evening and drop the temperatures down into the mid 80s by wednesday with a high of 85 degrees. the rain for the morning definitely tune into "action news" beginning at 4:30 with
