police say a man was in the doorway there. police went to check him out, that's when the shootout occurred. three officers were injured one shot in the vest one received a ricochet off a car and the third blood pressure issues. that was ahmad khan rahami on the stretcher after the shootingout with police in linden. he was hit several times at least once in the shoulder. this letter carrier was making delivers at the time. >> i heard two pops, i thought something fell off the back of a truck. i heard a voice, saying are you okay. i didn't know who it came from. i want into the body shop and i heard them say there's more shots. when i stood at the door you could hear more pops. >> reporter: what did you see? >> i just saw police vehicles coming from all over. >> reporter: overnight the fbi and state police had searched ahmad khan rahami's home in

you that we have the heavy rain down south. now flood advisories are beginning to change a little bit. we had some up the coast past atlantic city to lakehurst, those have expired except for cape may county where there are heavy he have cells coming in. there's a new flood advisory added for the state of delaware because of the additional rainfall on storm tracker 6 live highlighted in yellow. it looks like we'll see an end to this probably in the next several hours, between now and 3, 4:00 p.m. you have to allow for the southern part of the region to be inundated. we need the rain you look at the drought monitor we are in dry conditions across the region highlighted in yellow. from philadelphia toward the east that's moderate drought condition, not severe, but an indication that the rain is something we do need. even though it's a pain for you right now, you're getting a drink into the acquifer we've

a tow truck rear ended the tractor-trailer. the driver of the tow truck was checked out for injuries. the authorities have not released his condition. philadelphia police released surveillance video at a robbery suspect who pointed a gun at the store clerk. the crime happened at 5601 vine street in spring garden september 8. the video shows the suspect bringing items up to the register and pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. the robber got away with $100. much more ahead on "action news" at 12:30. people gathered in paris today in memory of the victims of terror attacks there. >> three surfers are attacked by sharks off the coast of florida, those stories and much more when we come right back.
