police say he was targeted. >> a new jersey state trooper is laid to rest today killed in the line of duty. >> david murphy has more about the rain and matt pellman is in for karen rogers. >> reporter: western chester county is getting a good batch of steady rain. look out for ponding and puddling here. in parts of south jersey we're seeing a dry slot work in. the rain will sweep through the drier areas before we are done. we have a fair amount of blue in the lehigh valley and berks county and at this particular ts county. we have freezing rain up here, we have a winter weather advisory until 6:00 a.m., be careful driving around in the areas where they might be slick.

harmonyville road fire crews responding to the scene, stick to hopewell road to the north. on the big picture, despite being wet no major problems reported along the schuylkill expressway or the boulevard or the vine no overnight construction, they were working on i-95 southbound by cottman, those crews just cleared. live look from camden, the ben franklin bridge, crossing the river, the bridges are slick this morning as we begin this monday, tam. >> a mask gunman killed a 17-year-old boy 234 front of his family -- in front of his family standing on a corner. katherine scott has more. >> reporter: that's right, tam, this victim was 17 years old, detectives at homicide are trying to figure out what happened and why. thmed at 60th -- this happened at 60th and market.

investigator were on the scene for hours as they tried to piece together what happened. close to dozen gunshots were fired at 12:15 a.m. police and medics were called when they arrived they found the 17-year-old lying on the sidewalks, he was hit multiple times and visible wounds to his face and torso. police say the victim's last known address was in north philadelphia. they are not sure what he was doing at the address after curfew you hours. there were several family members on the scene that were taken into to be interviewed. one of the shooters was a man wearing all dark clothing and a mask seen in a white suv vehicle going south on 60th street. 11 shots were fired from two separate semi automatic weapons. >> many shell casings were in close proximity to where the victim's body collapsed.

that's an indication that the shooter was firing from close proximity to the victim. >> several witnesses were taken to the homicide division to be interviewed, there are several philadelphia police cameras at that intersection. they also identified some cameras on nearby businesses, they are hoping to find footage that will help in the investigation. live at police headquarters, katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> katherine thank you for all the details. two men forced their way into a wissinoming home after a 10-year-old child opened the door. the men went upstairs and pistol whipped the child's father and took five hundred dollars from the scene. no arrests have been made. happening today, grieving family, friends and colleagues will stay their final farewell to a new jersey state trooper. trooper frankie williams was killed in a head on crash on route 55 while on duty.

bucks, northern montgomery county and here and there in through reading as there are spots where you might have slippery road conditions. before we can get the temperatures to rise we're looking at numbers close to the freezing mark in allentown and reading. the movement of all that, it is coming in from the west, we are expecting it is drying out in the northern places, probably around the end of the rush hour maybe before it. down in the i-95 corridor we're looking at a a lot of rape, som- rain, some of it heavy indicated by the yellow. we're looking at a break in philadelphia. but there's rain coming into chester county that will be coming into philadelphia, as well. south jersey and delaware, we're seeing that break up. it's not as bad, but the last band will be can you -- will beg

through later down the shore. we're close to the freezing mark in allentown and reading so we have concerns in the area with the freezing. however, as we go through the next couple of hours we're expecting the warm air to change over and change the freezing rain completely over to rain later in the morning commute. by 9:00 a.m. it's possible you're drying out in the north and west, probably damp in philadelphia, and by noon, everybody drying except by the shore where you have to wait a little bit longer for that stuff to clear. up in allentown, high of 46 degrees with morning ice changing over to rain over the next couple of hours. down the shore it's been all rain, it will be into the early afternoon where you will see drying. in the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast. you see a high in philadelphia today 51 degrees, again, rain in the morning, but drying later this morning and through the afternoon. sun and clouds tuesday, 45. 44 wednesday, mostly cloudy and look out, a flurry possible wednesday night, and thursday

we're live along 202, it's very wet this morning, we expect busy traffic later on today as some people head to the mall to do the shopping. everything is fine along 202. nearby there was a crash kism -- kirk avenue. there's no issues on 422 or the pennsylvania turnpike or 76. there's a utility fire along hit or- harmony road. 309 southbound near 78 there's an accident scene blocking a lane, not so prizing with the frozen precipitation falling up north. we have a crash in newtown, bugs county blocking 332 by tyler state park. holland road a possible there.

northbound come the headlights from an earlier accident scene by 295. that that has cleared out. there's one on 42 off the ac expressway. there's one off to the side and one in monroe township on the black horse pike southbound. 100 worshipers were killed when the roof of their church in nigeria collapsed. officials say the bible church was under construction and workers had been rushing to finish it. hundreds were inside when the metal girders fell and the iron roof caved in. >> today is national day of mourning in turkey after two bombings killed 38 people and injured 150 others. surveillance video captured the first explosion outside a football stadium on sunday. the match had just finished and fans were flooding into the
