construction, get off on the off-ramp and back on, valley forge road is shut down in lansdale. police are reporting for protests in philadelphia as donald trump takes the oath today, dozens of marchs are lands. katherine scott has more. >> reporter: the protests are expected to start around noon, it is expected to be busy in the center city area. today police are urging folks to use public transportation. some of the areas include city hall, broad street and rittenhouse square and independence mall. let's go to video to some of the ro tests we've seen since the election. philadelphia police are aware of a dozen events happening today, rallies marches and protests. officers have been communication with a number of, so they have an idea of the size of the gathering.

>> welcome back you're taking a live look here, this is the view down into the nation's capitol taking a look. of course it will be busy with inauguration day going on. rain is pricked in the forecast. usually along the parade route you're not allowed to have umbrellas, the park service is allowing collapsable umbrellas for the crowd coming out. >> we're getting rain down there, and they will get it earlier. >> reporter: we'll look at future tracker, i think it will be a close call. as we look outside, we're looking at the camden waterfront with the battleship new jersey in the distance.

it might have been a drive-by shooting. officers responded to multiple 911 calls about gunfire. when they got to the scene he this found a 32-year-old man shot in the head. police rushed him to the hospital where he died. investigators say there was no ballistic evidence at the scene, which means this could have been a drive-by shooting. two parents from western pa are i accused of leave their children locked in their bedroom up to 16 hours at a time. the children said they were locked in the room with no lights and no toys when they got home from school each day. they each had their own portable toilet. william dixon said the claims are not true. >> lots of times we never lock them in their rooms. i try never to lock them in their rooms. if they were locked in their rooms, i don't know why they

we're looking live in atlantic city, new jersey, we are dry, we are clear, but we have a problem that popped up on the roads as we look outside live on the schuylkill expressway. you can see the flashing lights through the trees. we have police activity on the schuylkill expressway westbound at girard avenue they are blocking the ramp, at least the right lane is blocked right now. we're watching for that right now. the right lane blocked on the schuylkill expressway westbound and the ramp blocked to girard avenue. in landsdale, we have construction valley forge road blocking all lanes between morris road and sumneytown pike. stick to broad street to get around the crews working this morning. we were backed up during the
