beach haven, 49 miles per hour. philadelphia last time we took the snapshot ease back to 35. that's enough to bring down tree branches and twigs, we have tree branches down and downed wires. you want to avoid those, we have partly sunny skies, we had strong thunderstorms and gust related winds in south jersey and delaware, yesterday. the issue today is the windy partly sunny skies returning. we're down to 350 in philadelphia. in the 40s, in allentown philadelphia will dip into the mid 40s and improve to the upper 40s the high will be 49. the official high will be in the 50s and that's behind us. 47 by 7:00 a.m. 46 by noon. high around 3:00 p.m. the worst wind in the morning still breezy in the afternoon and definitely staying cooler today. speaking of which it will be cooler tomorrow and for the
weekend, karen we'll have the details in the seven day. >> reporter: let's hit the roads, you have to watch for debris on the roads and downed trees in spots. no problems here on the vine street expressway approaching the schuylkill expressway. no problems there. upper merion we had an outdoor electrical fire extinguished, you may see crews. down tree on mill street fell on to a house. crews on the scene there, as well. montgomery county, 309 bethlehem pike at stump road you want to watch for an extinguished electrical fire there, as well. no oversized commercial vehicles on the pennsylvania turnpike, there's a ban right now because of the high winds that we're seeing. so, it is a problem as you're traveling, i felt my car blowing around a little bit in the gusty winds. we have a downed tree on 295 partially blocking the right lane southbound past 206.
in hammonton, 206 is blocked here because of a downed tree, as well. breaking right now high winds are kicking up throughout the morning as karen mentioned. one gust brought a tree down in delaware county, one person is hurt. katherine scott is live at the scene in clifton heights. katherine. >> reporter: matt, i did speak to the man who was hurt, he is doing okay, he was treated on the scene. let me show you the tree that fell blocking sycamore avenue right now in clifton heights. there were a lot of emergency vehicles on the scene, the fire department police were here, peco is working. you can see them on the other side of the tree. there are people around here taking a look at the damage in clifton heights after the high winds overnight. i spoke to the man who was hurt. his bedroom window was on the other side of the house on mill. the tree has fallen across sycamore. it's a little bizarre the tree
