for the affordable care act stands. >> good morning, it is 5:30 march 24. because of the accident we'll start with matt pellman. david murphy will have the accuweather good morning. >> reporter: i'll tell you guys, traffic wise things have gone from bad to worse on the schuylkill expressway. let's start with what happened overnight. an accident on the ramp schuylkill expressway westbound to the boulevard extension northbound route 1 toward the twin bridges. action cam was on the scene of the crash, a three vehicle accident that sparked a vehicle fire. in the car that was in flames, people were trapped. mess of a situation, the ramp is blocked. you can see that live, crews remain on the scene. here's the problem, the extra problem they have been pacing outline westbound traffic they were forcing people off at montgomery, now looks like they will let the westbound traffic through again are the penndot

trucks are leading the way, westbound schuylkill expressway past the boulevard route 1. it's been a slow go this morning. it does look like they will let the traffic continue west on the schuylkill expressway now, but now the ramble to the boulevard remains blocked. changing situation along 76 you're seeing a backlog coming out of the of the center city because of the earlier blockage at montgomery drive and the continue blockage of the northbound boulevard ramp. we're watching a crash on the northbound blue route that cleared out. we're watching construction 202 by the 30 bypass that improved there. construction in cherry hill on 70 east of the new jersey turnpike. david what's going on weather wise? >> reporter: all right, we've got clouds sweeping down from the north and west, matt. we are still cold, you will see that in a minute. the clouds will obliterate the sun. you can see showers popping through and blue in northwestern

ahead in the seven day. >> thank you, david we're following developing news concerned neighbors in burlington county, new jersey are waiting for answer as authorities conduct a death investigation at an apartment complex. jeanette reyes is live at the scene in maple shade. jeanette? >> reporter: good morning, to you, matt, a lot of residents here asking questions since last night when this happened. police investigate the death of two people at this apartment complex. take a look behind me, quite a scene. this happened around 9:00 p.m., 10:00 p.m., yesterday evening, we're seeing police going in and out of the apartment units collecting evidence much of this is taped off. we're around the 100 block of fox meadow drive at an apartment complex by the same name. police and medics responded to a unit for reports of two unresponsive people. the police presence grew and

people are searching for answers. >> i was the out to dinner with my fiance. i come home to this, i had to go around to my house and i have no idea what's going on. >> reporter: this is the sentiment here, a lot of residents asking what is going on. they have not gotten many asheses. burlington county officials have been tight lipped on what they are dealing with here, who are the victims and whether or not they are relatives, anything like that. we have put in several calls we're waiting to get the details, as soon as we get them we'll pass them along to you. reporting live in burlington county, jeanette reyes channel 6 "action news." >> we're following breaking news in philadelphia's can a tone section. a man opened a door to find a gun in his face, but it was the man with the gun who was shot. there was a struggle between the two on the 6100 block of haggerman street.

another person heard the commotion and grabbed their gun and shot the suspect in the face. we'll have a live report at 6:00 a.m. a man's murder in east oak lane remains a mystery this morning, philadelphia police found the unidentified victim shot in the chest at 65th avenue and 5th street. he died at the hospital. officers don't know who shot the man or why they did it. today's vote is do or die for repealing the healthcare law. president trump said he is he sy don't pass an overhaul bill today he will not a future bill. even after meeting with the president, dent plans to vote no. >> this is being rushed due to arbitrary timeline, artificials

scams. the scam involves buying men's suits. firefighters are battling a fire at a delaware county home. it is on the 100 block of shoebrook in astin township. the action cam is there right now. there are reports of two injuries, one a firefighter, not known how badly they are hurt or how the fire started. >> let's turn to david murphy with accuweather, we had cold and rain, now we'll get sunshine. >> reporter: transitioning to better weather today and especially tomorrow. storm tracker 6 live shows dry conditions to start out. take a look outside, we have cloud cover that's beginning to sweep through the region from the north and west. it is possible that you will get early sunshine over the commodore barry bridge, but generally speaking clouding up during the morning and then we'll see more sun returning laifort in the -- later in the day. temple 33 degrees, winds not all

that strong. we'll not bug you with windchill. obviously with temperatures around the freezing mark you need to bundle up a bit. later in the morning there's a chance of precipitation popping in the northern and western suburbs. notice how it's blue in the poconos there's a chance later this morning and into the early afternoon a bit of light, freezing rain in the poconos. looks like it will be too warm in allentown and reading by the time the rain pops through. you will want to take it slow up there, as well. by 2:00 p.m. any precipitation is gone most of it centered in the north. later in the afternoon and dinnertime we'll clear skies out a little bit and get more sun back into play. testers today will improve, as well. 36 degrees by 8:00. 42 by 10:00. noon we're up to 48. we spend the majority of the afternoon in the mid 50s and high of 55. you'll see a period in the day where it is cloudy and damp, especially in the northern area.

let's go over to matt matt matt, go to work. things to look forward, but not on the schuylkill expressway. ramp to the northbound side is blocked. now people have started to wait. i guess they are getting some indication it may open soon. for now, the ramp is blocked, westbound lanes of the schuylkill expressway are open at this point. some people are continuing west and exiting at city avenue and flipping around there. what happened overnight, there was a three-vehicle accident on the ramp from the ramp westbound to the boulevard northbound, action cam was on the scene. one of the cars caught fire, people were trapped inside, it is a fatal situation an awful situation out here investigating trying to get things up. the ramp is blocked. if you're coming out of the center city you'll hit speeds 8 miles per hour. i would come out the river

drive, mlk or kelly, instead. come out the schuylkill expressway and exit at montgomery take that to mlk and take the false -- falls bridge to east falls. there was a house fire along shoebrook lane, 452 gets you around that. a crash 476 northbound by mcdade has cleared. no need to worry about that. elsewhere on 476 we'll have construction this weekend they will close the northbound lanes saturday night into sunday morning. yeah, they are doing this once again. northbound lanes blocked between lansdale and quakertown, saturday into sunday, at that point you want to stay on 309 as the alternate toward the lehigh valley. happening now, london police have taken two more people into terrorist attack outside parliament. several thousand gathered to

on the big board at the airport, hoping for all green aircraft, that's what we got and no major delays and no precipitation in our travel cities. >> you can get the seven-day forecast and look at double scan radar at 6abc.com/weather. an intense explosion shook a neighborhood outside of pittsburgh. the blast leaved the home in moon township, allegheny township yesterday. nobody was home at the time. one pet was injured. gas workers shut off service and went home to home checking the line. it is unclear what sparked the explosion. authorities in florida say a man who was burning books started a 700-acre wildfire. the fire broke out on wednesday and spread fast forcing 150 people to evacuate. two homes were destroyed and two dozen others damaged. officials say the man was burning without a permit and will be billed for the
