moving in overhead right now in philadelphia. i think the main shower activity, though, is going to hold off for a while. later this morning we'll see that pop through. there's an additional shower up to the north. that is aiming on allentown. most of the stuff fairly light. as we look at the west. there are additional showers south of pittsburgh and looks like some of that will cruise in later in the morning and early afternoon. eventually later today we hope to get on the other side of that and return sunshine into play. 65 in philadelphia. 57 in allentown. all these very nice numbers, we're not looking at much wind this morning. fairly comfortable as you step outside. as we roll through the afternoon won't be as mild as easter sunday when you got up in the 80s we're looking at a high of 74 at 4:00 p.m. the pollen count is running high the next several days, keep that in mind allergy sufferers. temperatures going up and down

breaking right now, the action cam is live at a fire scene in south jersey, this broke out at the home of the 100 block of chestnut avenue in woodland, camden county. firefighters found the flames shooting from the second floor upon arrival 30 minutes ago. it spread to all three floors of the home. looks like everything is under control right now. additional firefighters were called to the scene to help. no word on any injuries or how the fire started. breaking, a gunman shot a man in southwest philadelphia. the victim staggered out into the street and collapsed and later died. the early morning murder capped a violent week in the city. jeanette reyes is live at police headquarters with the latest. >> reporter: well, matt, philadelphia police have their work cut out for them as they investigate 15 shootings that happened over the weekend. the violence only continued into this morning with two additional shootings, one of the victims is

dead. just hours ago, police say a 27-year-old man was shot once in the chest in southwest philadelphia along the 2200 block of felton street. the man stumped into -- stumbled into the intersection of 62nd and woodlands avenue. he died at the scene. temple hospital notified police of two men and women who arrived in a private vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds, officers were told that an unknown man shot them after a confrontation. all are in stable condition. this morning's shootings come as police investigate 15 others two of which ended with a person dead over the weekend. both victims were in their 20s and died at the scene. their killers are on the loose. this map shows the shootings took place across the city, handguns were used in each case. no arrests have been made. >> well we've had numerous

shootings over the weekend. you know, summertime, summertime is coming, warm weather today, you know, we get shootings that peak and valley in the warm weather, but we have, you know we have enough police out here to respond to any of these assignments. >> reporter: in just a matter of days we're talking about 3 homicide. the number of homicide is up compared to last year, 13%. police commissioner richard ross said this is the result of a deadly combination of guns, violence and lack of conflict resolution skills. reporting live at police headquarters, channel 6 "action news" jeanette reyes. >> police are searching for a gunman who shot a 15-year-old boy. it happened on south penn well drive in edgemore. 911 calls led officers to the scene where they found him shot in the stomach.

he was rushed to christiana hospital in critical condition. no arrests were made and no word on what sparked a shooting. firefighters pulled a person from a fast-moving house fire in montgomery county. this is flames and smoke shooting from the sky in the upper moreland home. it broke out on besser lane yesterday evening. the victim was rushed to abington hospital. there is nose word on their condition or who -- no word on the condition or what sparked the blaze. there are 110 active fires covering 120,000 acres from georgia to miami dade county. on tuesday, the governor declared a state of emergency which remains in effect. their teangs is focused -- their attention is focus the on two fires in central florida. dramatic video, cincinnati, ohio was hit with severe thunderstorms rain and hail. floodwaters reached over 6 feet

millville. after a very mild day yesterday, still staying above average with the high of 74 watch for that spotty shower, matt. >> let's get an update on the fire scene in south jersey. chopper 6 hd has arrive at the scene, you can still see smoke pouring from this three story home on the 100 block of chestnut avenue in woodland, camden county. this broke out 45 minutes ago. at first the fire seemed to be coming from the second floor, but spread throughout the entire stuck -- structure. chopper 6 hd showing that it is still going. does look like it is under control right now. breaking a doorway mixup may have led to an overnight shooting of two detroit police officers one is in critical condition. the officers were investigating an attempted break-in at a home when someone fired through the door. one officer was hit in the face, the other in the arm.

authorities say the homeowner may have mistaken them the officers for intruders. police say false reports of gunshots being fired at coney island amusement park set off a stampede of people. nypd had extra police presence. several were treated for minor injuries. authorities insist no shots were fired. this comes two days after a report of a gun going off at manhattan penn station. a brawl inside a walmart in california sent a person to the hospital and another to jail. this is cell phone video taken by a shopper. witnesses say two women were arguing before fists flew, their husband jumped in one was knocked unconscious and suffered serious injuries, another man was arrested and charged with battery. >> 6:17 a.m. today's tip answers the question

night near the adventure aquarium. two people walking along the river discovered the remains floating along the banks. it is not known if the victim is male or female or how the person died. a quick-moving fire damaged four row homes in morrisville, bucks county. when firefighters arrived flames were shooting from the home on park avenue. two homes were vacant and up for sale. fire officials are trying to figure out how the blaze started. the search continues for the man who video taped the execution of an apparent stranger and posted it on facebook. police in cleveland are warning people in pennsylvania, detroit and indiana to be on alert for steve stevens. it shows him stopping robert goodwin yesterday and engaging him in a conversation and shooting him from pointblank range. the victim's family is

[inaudible]. >> police believe stevens did not know the victim and picked someone to kill at random. in the video stevens claims to have killed other people. police have not verified in any other shootings. he should be considered armed and dangerous. fbi is asking in the investigation. police oh, oh, fbi is assisting in the investigation. police in upper darby arrested caleb douglass who was riding a dirt bike through philadelphia on saturday. he crossed into upper darby and that's where police say he ran down a woman and child. he carjacked a vehicle and took off. douglass was injured during the crash. he was arraigned at crozer-chester hospital where's being treated. the trial continues for the man charged in the fatal ambush at a state police barracks.
