steady, driving rain. we'll zoom north and west of philadelphia. this is lansdale, mainland, heavy rains indicated by the reds. as we go farther to the south here the heavy rain is pushing through king of prussia, knocking on the door, malvern seeing heavier rains. things begin to ease up out to the west. exton, chester springs start to come out of the heavy driving rain. once that pushes through we'll see leftover showers for maybe half-hour or had a minutes or so, the rest of the day looks really, really nice. the flood advisory is extended eastward including northern chester county and upper bucks and the lehigh valley, this up here, berks and lancaster, excuse me, the lehigh valley, this has been extended through 8:30. morning clouds from 8 or

>> reporter: detectives are working hard at dobbins high school you can take a look behind me, the crime scene unit is here, behind that crime scene unit you can see just beyond the crime scene tape detectives are working back there beyond there's trees and benches in the grassy area next to dobbins high school that's where the woman's body was found. she suffered a brutal attack. let's go to video of police working early this morning. the victim was found on the property of the high school 21st and lehigh avenue, a 33-year-old woman suffered stab wounds all over her body. they believe she was sexually assaulted when she was found by a passer by at 3:20 a.m., police are fighting the elements collecting the evidence before it's damaged by rain. they are looking for a weapon presumably a knife. police know who the woman is

based on on personal items found near her body, the way that they were strewn about there was a struggle. >> her chest was covered with blood, her hands were covered with blood, this was a brutal savage attack, somebody wanted to make sure that she suffered and that she was killed. >> so again, police say the victim is a 33-year-old woman her identity has not been released. serves are hoping any area surveillance cameras may reveal something helpful. if you have any information police would like to hear from you. live in north philadelphia, trish hartman channel 6 "action news." dprai? >> thank you for the update. one man is in critical condition after a shooting in the city's germantown section. the action cam along the 5100 block of rubecan street. someone shot the victim and taken to albert einstein center

for the weekend. bucks county businessman muhammad ali pleaded guilty to bribery testified yesterday in hopes of a reduced sentence. yesterday, a human resources official took to the stand saying williams failed to meet drivers meet --s in disclosing gifts from ali. williams faces 20 counts of bribery and fraud. the opioid battle continues, fentanyl makes other drugs more lethal than before. in camden first responders are being pro active to protect themselves. nora muchanic has the details. >> reporter: when paramedics from cooper university hospital respond to a drug overdose putting on a protective gear is a must, it's one way to perfect them from fentanyl a powerful drug used to blend with heroin,

to sleep in, by the time you wake up you'll say where's the rain. >> what is sleeping in? >> reporter: i don't know. looking back from the center city skyline from our temple university camera, shades of gray this morning and we're seeing drenching downpours again. national weather service issued a flood advisory for chester and upper montgomery counties here until 9:15 a.m. for berks and the lehigh valley up until 7:30 a.m. where we'll see driving rains almost like a squall line pushing through, except we're not seeing severe thunderstorms with the line this is a line, very intense rain falling with what was once tropical storm as i -- cindy tht came through western louisiana. we had heavier rains that is pushing away. all that's left is the heavy rains across southeastern

pennsylvania. we'll make a zoom going into this line, manayunk toward city avenue where we are in wynnfield. this is approaching from the northwest moving due east racing at 40 miles per hour, places like norristown even though you're seeing the heavy rains now, in ten minutes or so you'll be pulling out of it and things will be letting up. phoenixville, same thing, king of prussia seeing rain now, racing off quickly moving into willow grove and horsham. once that pushes through, we'll see the rain light up. 77 degrees with a dewpoint of 73. extremely high, very muggy. pressure is falling. winds out of the southwest at 9 miles per hour. somewhat cooler to the northwest, rain-cooled air temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s. upper 70s and low 80s across south jersey and delaware. dover, 79.

millville, 80. most of the dewpoints in the 70s. dover, 77. philadelphia, 73. there's our scale. once you get beyond 70 you don't need the scale because it's incredibly high. the numbers drop off quickly. lunch time we see the drier air work into the western suburbs, 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. look how nicely the things dry out. the numbers drop so far down they are not on the scale any more. this is nice, dry, comfortable air pushing in later on. unfortunately, the temperatures climb a little bit, we're seeing 90 degrees you might not enjoy the dry air if the highs were in the low 80s. future tracker 6, 7:00 a.m., downpours and clouds. this is racing off to the east, through 8:00 a.m. we'll see

time 5:50 a.m., "healthcheck" a new study found that woman don't know that heart disease is the leading cause of death. researchers surveyed 1,000 women and only half knew that heart disease was the main killer of women. 4,000 women died from heart disease that's more than cancer. a man rode his bike for his daughter. here's abc's david muir. >> reporter: bill connor is a father on a mission, he started in madison wisconsin in may, he has been riding his bike ever since. he is doing it to honor his late daughter abbey who he lost when

she was 20 years old in a drowning. in that moment they donated her organs. >> abbey loved everybody, she was a hugger, that's one of the things i've been doing along the ride. her father setting off on a two thousand mile journey to bring awareness to organ donation. along the way he has been taking selfies of the people who have given him so much. >> reporter: the amount of people strangers who have gone out of their way to take me in, give me shelter and meal and a shower is unbelievable. >> reporter: it was a stop 1400 miles in arriving in baton rouge that left him speechless. this is jack 21 careers old, he was given abbey's heart.

that father bill couldn't let go, and jack grateful for his daughter's heart and then jack walks up to him saying happy father's day. it gives bill a stethoscope he is about to hear his daughter's heart. >> the beauty of that was there were two fathers that were able to celebrate father's day because jack is alive and of course i'm there and abbey is alive, to me she is alive inside of jack. it's not about how many cars you have or home you have, to give somebody life during a tragedy like this you're able to give somebody an organ to help them live or live a better life, so may daughter, again, set an example for me and i've got to follow it, and that's what i am

>> reporter: all right, welcome back everyone, still tracking the lines of heavy rain west of the i-95 corridor, from wilmington to trenton it's 20 minutes off to the west. lots of bright reds and yellows and oranges. insist not severe it's simply a line of heavy rains. we're seeing flash flooded advisories for chester, upper montgomery county and berks county and the lehigh valley. this is philadelphia county, the delaware river bearing down from the west all this moving at 40 miles per hour. so, right now it's rainy heavily in doylestown and willow grove and jenkintown and pushing toward trenton in the next half-hour and same thing with florence. over the next couple of hours, brief, but heavy downpours
