>> reporter: detectives are working hard at dobbins high school you can take a look behind me, the crime scene unit is here, behind that crime scene unit you can see just beyond the crime scene tape detectives are working back there beyond there's trees and benches in the grassy area next to dobbins high school that's where the woman's body was found. she suffered a brutal attack. let's go to video of police working early this morning. the victim was found on the property of the high school 21st and lehigh avenue, a 33-year-old woman suffered stab wounds all over her body. they believe she was sexually assaulted when she was found by a passer by at 3:20 a.m., police are fighting the elements collecting the evidence before it's damaged by rain. they are looking for a weapon presumably a knife. police know who the woman is

pennsylvania. we'll make a zoom going into this line, manayunk toward city avenue where we are in wynnfield. this is approaching from the northwest moving due east racing at 40 miles per hour, places like norristown even though you're seeing the heavy rains now, in ten minutes or so you'll be pulling out of it and things will be letting up. phoenixville, same thing, king of prussia seeing rain now, racing off quickly moving into willow grove and horsham. once that pushes through, we'll see the rain light up. 77 degrees with a dewpoint of 73. extremely high, very muggy. pressure is falling. winds out of the southwest at 9 miles per hour. somewhat cooler to the northwest, rain-cooled air temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s. upper 70s and low 80s across south jersey and delaware. dover, 79.

she was 20 years old in a drowning. in that moment they donated her organs. >> abbey loved everybody, she was a hugger, that's one of the things i've been doing along the ride. her father setting off on a two thousand mile journey to bring awareness to organ donation. along the way he has been taking selfies of the people who have given him so much. >> reporter: the amount of people strangers who have gone out of their way to take me in, give me shelter and meal and a shower is unbelievable. >> reporter: it was a stop 1400 miles in arriving in baton rouge that left him speechless. this is jack 21 careers old, he was given abbey's heart.

that father bill couldn't let go, and jack grateful for his daughter's heart and then jack walks up to him saying happy father's day. it gives bill a stethoscope he is about to hear his daughter's heart. >> the beauty of that was there were two fathers that were able to celebrate father's day because jack is alive and of course i'm there and abbey is alive, to me she is alive inside of jack. it's not about how many cars you have or home you have, to give somebody life during a tragedy like this you're able to give somebody an organ to help them live or live a better life, so may daughter, again, set an example for me and i've got to follow it, and that's what i am
