the govenor signed an executive order temporarily banning any public demonstrations at a monument in richmond virginia. a new jersey state trooper who was checking on a disabled vehicle along the garden state parkway ended up saving a woman's life. the trooper spotted a car on the side of the road thursday afternoon. he got out and saw 70-year-old joan murphy leaning on the side rail and struggling to breathe. she collapses and trooper paul started cpr. within a few seconds, murphy started to bleet and she started talking. >> feels good, it wasn't until though, that it kicked in, it was a normal day of work and i am glad it's a great turnout. >> we say thank you for your service. >> trooper paul called a ambulance and mrs. murphy was taken to the hospital to be

great update to tell you about this morning, two rot wiliers rescued from a schuylkill river are on their way to a good home. a good samaritan took the into a waiting car that would transport them into their new home. brown was taking care of the dogs after saving them when they were stranded in the water near the saint joseph's boathouse. >> i was so happy, i started to get inquiries,nately we found the original owner and found people thawa to adopt them. that's a good feeling. >> i'm blessed that marcus is a wonderful young man, instead of driving by, he stopped and saved two lives. >> great act of kindness, so glad the dogs will be okay. animal welfare officials say

the chase began friday night when officers spotted the car which matched that of a stolen once the chase ended there was one person in the vehicle, he got out of the car with hands raised and arrested. police recovered an item that was thrown from the vehicle in the early part of the chase, the item has not been identified. a judge has dpped the plea of roman pal -- denied the plea of roman polansky if he wants to have his four decade case resolved. he plead guilty to having unlawful sex with a 13-year-old. he fled the country on the night before he was sentenced. the victim supported his efforts, but made her plea in court for the first time in june. skydiver said dumb luck
