a big accident blocking all lanes on the schuylkill westbound at university. it's not our only accident here in chester county. one on glen willow road at gap newport pike. busy traffic morning, dave, even though in these areas roads are dry. >> yeah, as you said, the snow issue really coming later on today and tonight. there's a winter weather advisory in effect today into wednesday morning and it technically is in effect already in the poconos and in allentown and reading. it won't really go into effect, however, in places like northern bucks, northern montgomery county and northwestern chester county until about 4 o'clock this afternoon. so, the snow that we're starting to see on radar a little bit out to the west of us really is slow. right now you see some of this just to the west of reading, pottsville, harrisburg getting some of it. lancaster about to get the first flakes. this is very light, not very impactful and it's going to be ever so slow as it tries to push east and then overnight down in through philadelphia. so, like matt said kind of like acting like ragu not wanting to come out of the jar. this is going to be a real

wilmington we're at 29, philadelphia 30. below freezing in the northern and western suburbs. so, if you are, say, in chester county or anywhere in the north and west and you're getting a little bit of snow on the windshield, slow it down just in case there is a freeze-up on the roadways there but there has been a lot of brining going on lately and i think mostly we're in good shape. want to remind you that we still have a flood warning that kicked in yesterday morning because of an ice jam that has developed more or lows between trenton up to yardley and some of these roads on both sides of the river in mercer and bucks county are a little flooded and in some cases icing up because of that water. now, to the snow. doesn't look like it's going to be a big issue around here until late today and this evening in the northern and western suburbs. this model run continues to keep this more or less to the other side of allentown and reading all the way up to 7 o'clock. i think there is a chance this pushes down a little bit sooner sooner and our winter weather advisory in the immediate areas of bucks, northern bucks and montgomery county and northwestern chester county kicks in at 4 o'clock. eventually, though, this will overtake the entire i-95

5:46 am
we've got fire crews, ambulance on the scene. they arrived on the eastbound schuylkill and at times have been blocking all lanes on the eastbound schuylkill. so, you have westbound and eastbound schuylkill mostly blocked. they're allowing one lane to get by at times, allowing some of that stuck traffic to get through. it's all happening on the schuylkill expressway at university avenue. now, since we showed you this shot, we've watched they've moved away at least one of the vehicles. it was a multi-vehicle accident on the schuylkill westbound at university. we showed it to you even before police could arrive at the scene. they were stuck in the backlog with the accident. now you see police are arriving but more emergency crews had to come to the eastbound side 'cause the westbound was so jammed. so, they come on the eastbound side. now they're blocking most lanes in the eastbound. they're at times letting this right lane get by but you can see we're jammed in both directions. police, ambulance, we have a tow truck on the scene, kind of hard to see, it's right here, tow truck on the scene as well all happening on the schuylkill expressway at
